• Raghad (6/5): Amazing location and security, but not worth the price due to cleanliness issues. - Great location in the heart of Zamalek, with cafés and restaurants within walking distance. The building feels very safe with 24/7 security at the entrance, which is reassuring, especially for girls. The area is lively and central (a bit noisy, but I personally didn’t mind). The apartment has a coffee machine, and they provided coffee and tea sachets. And the viewwwwww is so beautiful! The cleanliness was disappointing. I found two small insects on the kitchen counter on two different days, which was really unpleasant and disgusting. The price felt too high for the overall quality of the stay. The coffee machine didn’t come with capsules, and Netflix required signing in with a personal account, which I didn’t have.

• Agnes (3/5): Hazudnak, másik lakást adnak, a ház elhanyagolt és mocskos. - Semmi nem tetszett. Hazudtak, másik lakásra fizettünk be. Nílusra néző, 3 fürdöszobűs lakásra fizettünk be. Két fürdőszoba volt, Nílusra nézőt ígértek, helyette romokra láttunk, állandó por volt a bontások miatt, az asztmám nehezen viselte. A ház maga borzalmasan elhenyagolt, mocskos, erről képeket is mellékelek. Kóbor macskákat etetnek a lépcsőházban, akik éjszaka hangosan üzekedetk. Elviselhetetlen hangok. A konyha üres volt, 1 lábas, kettő kanál négy embernek, nem volt mikróhullámú sütő. A portás felhívta a menedzsert, aki azt mondta, ők ezt a lakást ajánlották, csak a booking írta rosszul. Hazudott. Megígérte, hogy 10 percen belül küld mikrót és más konyhai eszközöket. Azóta is küldi. Mondtuk, hogy pénz visszatérítést kerünk. Semmi. Kárjük a befizetett összeg méltányos visszatérítését. Maga a lakás sem volt nagyon tiszta, nem lehetett a légkondit fűtésre kapcsolni. A portások semmilyen nyelven nem beszélnek az arabon kívűl-

• Michaela (8/5): Overall I would recommend this place and would come back again. - The location was ideal, with numerous coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We felt secure, and the view was impressive. From booking to checkout, communication with the staff was seamless. We appreciated that the apartment was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The apartment requires a thorough cleaning of the wooden floor. Although it appeared clean, we noticed one or two bugs in the kitchen, so it's advisable to store food in the refrigerator. The biggest issue for us was the electricity; after taking a hot shower, there was a power outage. However, they fix it promptly once informed.

• Roxan (9/5): - The flat was so clean and recently renovated. The host was responsive and helpful. It would be thoughtful to provide coffee pods if a Nespresso machine is available, or at least some instant coffee. While cookware was provided, basic seasonings like salt and pepper were missing. The flat itself was clean but the building was old and dirty.

• John (2/5): made spectacular by the apartment, but RUINED by the apartment and the building - The apartment itself was WOW ! Huge kitchen, nice sitting areas, huge TV, wonderful balcony, the designer bathrooms were modern and huge and very nice. the apartment even had a pool table. The LG brand AC in the back bedroom was worthless and the unit needs to be replaced - even the technician that came 3 times said so. we had to put up with the technician being in the apartment for almost 3 full hours while we were trying to relax and had wanted to take a nap after a long day of touring. The technician went over and above to try to fix it, including taking out the bathroom window and crawling into an air shaft 9 stories up to get to the AC unit, but was not able to fix it. and thus we could not sleep in that room for 3 nights. BrassBell staff were VERY instantaneous in their response, but could only do so much. I would give BrassBell top, top marks for their efforts. But they need to stop renting this apartment. the location is amazing. The building has 2 elevators - one was out of order, the other one was broken, and would not come when called to the 9th floor, so we had to walk down the stairs, past all the garbage cans in the nasty dirty stairwells (which are a major fire hazard - if there is a fire in the building, you will DIE because the stairwells are blocked) and twice I had to walk UP the 9 floors. I asked the building doorman two days in a row, when the elevators would be fixed, and he swore up and down that the repair people were on their way or were coming the next day, but it didn't happen. BrassBell staff - 5 stars; Um Kholthoum apartment - 2 stars because the AC didn't work, and both elevators didn't work

• Exalto (6/5): Not bad, yet could be better - In short terms: location and stylish interior. These apartments are located in a heart of Zamalek and have a perfect view on Nile. Stylish roomy interior, spacious balcony. The apartments equipped with modern facility. Stylish interior is a backside of a medal — intensive smell of repairing surrounded us during all our staying here. The cleaning wasn't thorough. But the main thing is electricity power — it was out at least once a day — sometimes for 5-10 minutes, but in the last day just before we left in the airport, it gone away and never turned back on for an hour. When electricity is gone, hot water and wi-fi are gone too. And most of annoying that manager was not reachable nor via phone nor via WhatsApp. Eventually, we somehow waited for the manager and checked out. This incident considerably spoiled the overall impression of these apartments. If the owner will eliminate power outages and work on the availability of manager, I am sure — the rating could be much higher. But for now — as it is. Update: The host did a refund in one night while I was writing this review. It won't change my review, but it definitely speaks volumes about the customer focus of the apartment owner.
