Old bathroom, bad smell (not cigarette smoke necessarily but odd stench coming from the bathroom, I hate it) you are recommended to hand over the keys when leaving and get them when getting back. Bad bed frames, the mattress just moves around, although the mattress itself is not bad. If I would be a bit bigger, I wouldn't be able to pass through the shower entrance. (I am kinda thin)

Bad smell, uncomfortable bed that makes noise, unfriendly receptionist. - I didn't find anything well but maybe the view out the window was nice The bathroom smelled very bad and I could smell it while I was on the bed, I don't expect much from a hotel of this price but I also don't expect to suffocate with the bad smell of dampness and mold, and the electrical ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work very bad! . The bed was uncomfortable, covered with a very flat layer of sponge, as if I was sleeping on a wooden surface, as well as the pillow. On hot days, the heat is unbearable, even if you open the windows, it's not enough, not to mention the noise. The curtains were light, as soon as the sun rises, the room shines and you can't sleep well. The furniture is very old and some of it is worn out, everything in this hotel is wrong. Note: The receptionist with black hair is very nice, but her other colleague was very bad and rude. I do not advise anyone to sleep in this hotel unless they have to!

Overall clean and apparently newly renovated. Room light, well proportioned, warm, clean and well euipped. Very large, comfortable bed. Breakfast OK. Pleasant location close to tram and metro, shops, bars, cafes, farmers' market etc. Airport about 45 minutes by direct metro and bus. Old town 10 minutes by metro. I'd definitely stay here again. The coffee at breakfast wouldn't appeal to many Brits!

Pillows. I will never understand why hotel pillows have to be so soft and not provide any support.

- Aleksandar (10/5): nice! - Almost everything fulfilled my expectations. Room is very nice, reception is working 24/7, all stuff is very nice, speaking english language. We were on 3rd floor, but that was not a problem, since hotel have 2 elevators! Only problem was - BUT NOT COUSED BY PROPERTY, is that there was no air condition. I believe that this is the problem all over the Prague, since it is forbidden to mount split air condition system on those nice building, which is ok.

How to get to the room can be a bit confusing but it's manageable as long as one doesn't overlook the signs. That's all that I could find that's bad.

- Youlia (10/5): Exceptional - A very good hotel near a metro station ,only a couple of stops from the old town. There are lovely little trams as well going in the same direction. I took a very pleasant stroll from the Hotel, down the hill to Stare Mesto ,which took 30-40 minutes. A well stocked supermarket is just around the corner, as well as good bars and cafes nearby. Kind and professional reception service will help to make your stay pleasant.The hotel is kept immaculately clean.I would highly recommend this place. The shower in my room was tiny in otherwise good sized bathroom.

- Roland (10/5): Great place to stay, but please read the suggestions - The hotel is nicely located, 2 different tram lines that take you to the city center in 10-15 minutes. Supermarket and a few restaurants within 5 minutes walking. Property is clean and good value for money. - upon paying for the accommodation, the receptionist lady presented the machine for payment and then quickly proceeded to push some buttons on the terminal to select the currency in GBP (British card) without even asking. Due to this conversion by them I have lost approximately 10 GBP for nothing. Please don’t do this in such an almost scammy way. - you have to leave your keys at the reception every time you go out. (I am not sure how it is controlled but we did leave the keys at all times anyway) Upon return to the hotel I have asked for the keys and I always received it from the reception team but no one ever challenged me to show an ID or at least ask for the reservation name. Be careful because one day someone will walk in and ask for a wrong key (deliberately or not??) You will give it out and then I’m sure it will result in a much worse review from those whose room has been emptied.

- Helena (8/5): Worth the price - Room was clean and with a good size, bed was confortable. The location is perfect, just few steps of tram station, and few mins walking from metro station. A lot of restaurants and pubs just around the corner. Close to the City center. The shower was terribly small and very unconfortable. I came to stay a month and asked more hangers to put all my clothes but they didn't have it and I need to buy myself. The elevator was broken for few days when I was there.

- Federica (5/5): Passable - The location is excellent, the hotel is well-connected to the city centre and all attractions. Also, the room size is acceptable. 1. When we arrived, we were informed of our placement in a “special room”. It turns out this room was a garret that was smaller compared to the room we paid for and we were expecting. Also, there was not curtain in this room so the sunlight would have entered the room in the morning. We flagged the issue and we were immediately placed in the room we paid for. 2. The lift did not work - I understand no maintenance could happen due to the holidays, however, the lack of it made our staying uncomfortable as we were on the 4th floor. 3. there was a spider in the room that I managed to get rid of. 4. The hotel policy asks to give the keys to the reception if you are going to leave the hotel for a few hours. We left the key to the reception and on our return, we came back asking to collect the keys and go to our room to sleep. The reception told us that the keys were not in their hands, and we were blamed of losing the keys. They also came to our room to check if we had the keys without asking our permission to enter our room and they did not trust our words. In the morning, it turned out the staff of the reception had the keys all the time, and we were not informed of this - we basically slept an entire night with the door unlocked. 5. In the morning, before our check-out hot water was not running. We had to take cold showers. The reviews for this hotel are all good, and it disappointed me to have an opposite experience. I strongly believe the service needs some improvements as it cannot be considered a 4 stars hotel. Otherwise, location and room size for standard room is great.

- Gerard (8/5): The area is perfect and the price is reasonable, would stay again! - It was great, the rooms are basic enough but the area is perfect! Great pubs and resturaunts within a five minute walk, a super markert like 30 seconds away and a shopping centre nearby. It's close to everything but far enough from the city centre to be out of the way from the worst parts that come with that. The area is extremely safe even late at night but that could be sad for Prague in general I think. As stated the rooms are a little basic, you can ask for a kettle and there was a mini fridge in the room all in all I really like the place. The staff are nice but very "matter of fact" but this is how it is there the culture just seems a little colder.

- Anna (8/5): Parking is too small, it’s better to reserve parking befor your trip - Great location, very nice woman on the reception, she was very friendly. Location is a big advantage, subway station is in 400 meters and you even could walk to the center, it’s near 2-3 kilometers
