I wouldn't recommend paying extra for canal view either as it is blocked by umbrellas at the restaurants/overall isn't worth it.

- Zackary (3/5): Do not book this hotel - It is well located. We were in room 105 which is straight up the stairs from reception. Booked a double room and got a very small room with two single beds pushed together which created a rift in the middle of the bed. We could here the receptionist typing and watching videos or talking from in our room. We were asked to hand in our access card every time we left tge hotel and when we checked out no one was there. The toilet was so close to the wall with a rail coming off it you could not sit down on the toilet straight. The drain in the shower didn't drain and would overflow into the bathroom. The room was cleaned on our second day and the cleaners put my partners toiletries in the bidet. When we asked for an alternative room, due to the noise from reception, we were offered the room next to reception... This was the most expensive of all our accomodation for our Italy trip and was the worst on all fronts.

- Sarah (1/5): BED BUG infestation in (at least) room A1 - The housekeepers who steamed our luggage and checked out the room were lovely, kind, and sympathetic but limited by management in how much they could help us. BED BUGS. The reception staff tried to downplay the bed bugs despite us showing them my partner’s MANY bites that got bigger by the day. And giving them a live one we caught in a ziploc bag. We also showed them a photo I took of one I killed in the middle of the night with a large blob of blood that squirted out of it. They refused to give us any compensation for our cost of having to do laundry on our last day of our vacation as well as the cost of us having to do dry cleaning once back home in case of bugs or eggs in the seams of our clothes. They didn’t compensate us for the sleepless nights or emotional distress that tainted our second half of the vacation. They do not have mattress protectors on the beds and they seem to believe a quick steaming with a hand steamer was sufficient treatment of a bed bugs infestation. We saw two bed bugs in total but that doesn’t mean there weren’t more. We paid over $3000.00 USD for our 7 day trip; while I realize that bed bug infestations happen, I believe the hotel should have done a lot more- in treating the situation and in compensating us for our serious inconvenience and discomfort.
- Chantelle (9/5): Wonderful and would stay here again. - Location was great, but still nice and quiet at night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and room was nice and large with a balcony. Breakfast was great as well! Room was on the top floor, so it was a bit warm even for the end of March. Pillows were a but hard, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Las camas eran muy cómodas, los baños estaban actualizados y la experiencia en las habitaciones era confortable. El desayuno estaba incluido y era muy correcto. Éramos un grupo familiar grande con dos personas mayores y tuvimos una incidencia de salud y se portaron muy bien permitiendo el late check-out de una de las habitaciones. -

- Heena (8/5): Hôtel idéalement situé avec un bon rapport qualité/prix - Idéalement situé, seulement à quelques minutes de la place San Marco et autres points d’intérêts. Station de bateau-bus également à proximité. Service de gondole accessible juste en face de l’hôtel et plusieurs restaurants dans la rue et aux alentours. Personnel sympa et propreté générale de l’établissement. La chambre avec vue sur le petit canal est très mal isolée, ce qui fait qu’on entend tout ce qu’il se passe dans la rue et les restaurants au pied de l’hôtel (et cela du matin très tôt au soir très tard). A savoir donc avant de réserver cette chambre. Un autre point d’amélioration est le petit déjeuner, qui est très basique.

- Xiaoyi (7/5): Pleasant stay! - Hotel is within walking distance from major attractions. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast has enough food, fruit, and drinks to choose from. Staff was helpful: operated elevator to transport luggage upstairs and replaced broken electric kettle with a brand new one quickly. Nothing really.

Our room was just above the entrance of a restaurant and from very early in the morning was disturbing noises. The room was nice overall, quite small though.

We liked everything.

- Philip (8/5): A convenient location with easy access. - The hotel is located not far from San Marco Piazza and also within a short walk of the ferry wharf from the airport. There are no bridges to cross when coming from the ferry. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a filling start to the day. Baggage can be taken to the first floor by elevator but people must use the stairs. My room had a view from the window to the canal. The bathroom was on the smaller side; however, that is to be expected in an older hotel such as those found in Venice. The noise from people outside can be distracting in the early evening but is settled down before the later evening and does not disturb.
