• Nicole (8/5): Aber alles in allem, prima. - Sehr schöne Einrichtung, top Design. Super bequemes Bett. Die Lage war insofern nicht so erquickend, weil einerseits nicht viel los war rundherum und das Zimmer strassenseitig, im Erdgeschoss, doch recht laut war.

• G. Igelbrink (9/5): Modern antik im Herzen der Hauptstadt - Die Ausstattung rangiert zwischen antik/klassisch und modern und ergibt einen eigenen Style - alles ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Besondere Erwähnung bekommt das Frühstück, das nicht mit buffetähnlichem Überfluss, sondern mit schmackhafter Zurückhaltung punktet - zu jeder Zeit konnte natürlich nachgeordert werden, so dass wir ausreichend gestärkt Berlin erkunden konnten. Dieses wurde auch durch die äußerst gute Lage im Herzen der Hauptstadt begünstigt, alles ist durch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel einfach zu erreichen. Für das Ausruhen und wieder Energie tanken zwischen den Erkundungen / Ausflügen hervorragend geeignet.

• Ron (10/5): Great authentic hotel - Really nice boutique hotel right near Friedrichstrasse, 10 mins walk from Checkpoint Charlie and 3 mins from the Hallesches Tor station. The staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was nice, rooms are clean and I really enjoyed the unique atmosphere (the hotel is located in the ground floor of an apartment building - it adds to the sense of authenticity of this place).

• H. (10/5): Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert :) - Super freundlicher Empfang, sehr sauberes, schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Das Bett war ultra bequem!! sehr schön auch, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, sich Kaffee oder Tee zu kochen. Das Frühstück sollte man sich allerdings auch nicht entgehen lassen. :)

Die Zimmer in einem top renovierten typisch berlinerischen Altbau sind sauber und gemütlich mit geschmackvoller Ausstattung (Boutique Hotel eben). Die lage ist ruhig, aber gut angebunden und fußläufig gibt es Restaurants und Cafes. Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit (Stichwort Handysuche). Frühstück mal kein Buffet und sehr empfehlenswert. Eigentlich ist es genau mein Ding. Könnte einen Tick preiswerter sein, obwohl das Preis-Leistungsverhältis doch OK ist.

• Silke (9/5): Tolle Erfahrung - Sehr gute Lage, fußläufig zum Potsdamer Platz und zum Anhalter Bahnhof gelegen, bietet dieses kleine Boutiquehotel alles, was man für einen Städtetrip braucht. Alles war sehr sauber und das Zimmer war funktional, aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Zugang nach Rezeptionsschluss wurde durch genaue Anweisungen per Mail gewährleistet.

Hôtel proche du centre et des attractions principales, aussi bien à pied qu’en transports en commun. Le quartier est sans intérêt, aucun restaurant sympa dans les environs. (Mais ça l’hôtel n’y est pour rien!).

• Robert (9/5): A great nights sleep and incredible staff! - The staff were exceptional and the room was beautifully presented. We loved the decor and the fact that the windows faced inwards, which was much better than looking out on to the street. The bathroom is extremely modern and outstandingly clean, so no complaints there! Unfortunately a lot of noise from the hallway can be heard in the room. I’m not sure the hotel can do much to prevent it, but it is a small complaint nonetheless.

• Lisa (8/5): Delightful staff, great breakfasts and excellent location - The staff at the Wil7 are absolutely delightful and look after you so well at breakfast. The breakfasts are terrific. The rooms, while clean (and the bathroom had a bath which was a real bonus) are a bit of a tight fit (particularly around the bed). The location of the hotel is really good - very close to the Berlin Wall and several museums and places of interest. Don't be put off by the outside of the building - graffiti is par for the course in Berlin!

• Sebastian (9/5): Tolles Hotel mit Altbaucharme und sehr freundlichem Personal! - Ein wunderschöner Altbau mit riesigem Innenhof. Große Teile des Erdgeschosses sind zu Hotelzimmern umgebaut worden. Sehr charmant. Late Check-In absolut problemlos! Auch top! Gerade fällt mir dazu nichts ein.

Extremely clean, very comfortable bed, very modern bathroom. All rooms on the ground floor in a 130 year old building. Decor is bright and welcoming. Good quality towels and shampoo/conditioner. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Fabulous breakfast with a variety of teas and fresh coffee. The owners are delightful and nothing was a problem. They were happy to spend time with us to give us some tips and ideas of where to go. There was not anything we disliked.

Great way to start the day! Strange configuration of bathroom in Room 10. Also would have been great if there’d been a communal area to enjoy a drink in the evenings.
• hrs1026 (8/5): Comfortable, friendly and well located - At first it is a little off putting in a somewhat run down apartment building where the ground floor is a bed and breakfast. But, it is quite comfortable, albeit small rooms, with a very good bed and excellent bathroom, especially the shower. The staff is great, friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are excellent with fresh breads and croissants, excellent jams, fresh eggs and cheese and very good coffee. Well located very near the Jewish museum and check point Charlie. Near many bus routes and trains and walkable. Very good ethnic restaurants near by and in an extremely diverse safe neighborhood. Highly recommend!

• Holly (9/5): Amazing boutique hotel which allows for an immersive residential Berlin experience in a beautiful old facility fully res - The location was excellent - central to so much we wanted to experience… housed in an iconic location and made us feel as though we were almost Berliners ourselves. Very immersive in real living experience. The breakfasts were delicious, the bed so comfortable and the decor quirky and sophisticated. Our only issue were the lights in and around the hallways. Frequently we needed more light to get into the building itself, and to navigate the key situation, which was a little tricky and, I am told by the staff, is in stages of being upgraded.
• Xiaowen (8/5): Berlin weekend - the location of the hotel is very good, close to subway, and walking distance to checkpoint charlie (10 mins) and Potsdamer Platz (20min), so for shopping and restaurants are quite convenient. the room is located in a building 130 years old. the bed is good, design is nice. it was fully renovated, but you can already see it is being a bit worn out. most of the rooms are facing inner courtyard, but our room is face the street, so it is very noisy (especially at weekend). So just do forget to bring earplugs. they do simple cleaning everyday, but i do expect they can do the cleaning a bit easier. one day we came back around 14, but the room has not yet being cleaned. breakfast was good, fresh made, but i do expect a bit more variety from one day to another. these are not criticism but i think it is improvement points.
• mmarkgib (2/5): Dangerous! Don't be fooled! - Very dangerous! DO NOT STAY HERE! First if all, the new staff were great. However, I feel compelled to warn about this "boutique hotel". First of all, it isn't a hotel at all..no lobby, no phones or working television in the rooms. The reception desk closes at 6pm After that, you're on your own. Now, about the dangers. A very sketchy neighborhood with abandoned buildings and homeless encampment. Inside the room, there is a 24 inch step up to get in the shower onto very slick tile floor. No grab bar or anything to prevent falls from the slick floor. The water is dangerously hot. God forbid there is an emergency, FIRE,etc. The doors are extremely heavy, and you must unlock THREE doors with a key to get outside. In a panic, surely a potentially fatal situation. The room was large but sparse. Bed was comfortable. 17 inch tv had no signal, and no one to call. Again, this is an old apartment building, not a "boutique hotel". The courtyard is overgrown and unkempt. The paint is cracked and peeling, etc. Again, the new staff were great, but they can't fix the infrastructure. Don't be fooled by nice photos and descriptions.

• Jo (10/5): WIL 7 BOUTIQUE HOTEL HOTEL IS EEN FANTASTISCHE OASE IN HET BRUISENDE BERLIJN. TOP!! - Het ontbijt was uitstekend (de koffie was minder) de bediening door de medewerkers bijzonder vriendelijk en hartelijk. Mijn vrouw en ik hebben vaker in Berlijn gelogeerd maar dit hotel is in een woord TOP. Dit hotel is in onze ogen een pareltje in deze stad. Wat iets beter had gekund. Na lang zoeken de koffie bij het ontbijt. Niet onze smaak.

• Madeline (7/5): Super zentral und super Schlaf - Super zentral gelegen. Das Bett und Bettzeug war super! Das Personal war international Frühstück für 20€ zubuchbar. Kann natürlich ganz besonders sein, aber für 20€ konnten wir uns n Kaffee und genug Brötchen woanders kaufen ;) Super hellhörig. Wir haben die Nachbarn über uns Husten gehört.
• Rahel Ilona (7/5): Sehr hübsch und geschmackvoll, aber… - Wer auf der Suche nach dem Besonderen ist, ist hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Wohnhaus im Erdgeschoss, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch das Personal war freundlich und hat mich beim Ausdrucken eines Zugtickets unterstützt. Die Hotelrezeption schliesst um 18 Uhr-und keine Minute später. Wer also auf Luggage-Store angewiesen ist, weil er spät abreist (so wie wir, wir nahmen einen Nachtzug um 21 Uhr), ist hier nicht an der richtigen Adresse. Wir haben unsere Koffer dort lagern können bis 18 Uhr und kamen kurz vorher zum Hotel, um alles abzuholen und noch kurz auf Toilette zu gehen. 15 Minuten vor 18 Uhr hat man uns deutlich gemacht, dass wir nun gehen sollen, man wolle jetzt mal die Schoten dicht machen. Das fanden wir nicht fein, gerade bei dem Preis. Hat ein komisches Gefühl hinterlassen. Die Lage hat mich auch nicht überzeugt. Liegt im Nirgendwo am Rande Kreuzbergs, praktisch keine Bars oder Restaurants. Man muss viel laufen oder Uber nehmen. Dafür schön ruhig.

• Gloriose (8/5): Séjour plutôt convivial. - On se sent comme à la maison de part la configuration des espaces La distance avant d'arriver dans la chambre mais aussi le nombre de portes qu'on doit traverser.

• Catherine (9/5): Overall really great place to stay - Very comfortable room in a central but quiet part of Berlin, close to U + S Bahn and buses so very easy to get around. The room was clean and light - you do look straight into a courtyard so not super private except that no one seemed to be using the courtyard at all so that wasn’t an issue for me. Shower is great, bed really comfortable, nice touches like a teapot and leaf tea which is quite unusual I think. Easy walk to Kreuzberg market and shops or you can easily catch the bus too from one street away. Also quick and way bus ride to central train station. Hosts were great, friendly and welcoming. Only thing is they have the very soft European pillows which I think is normal for everywhere - if you need a firm pillow you might need to request one, I just used a cushion under the pillow and that worked fine.
