• Brian (9/5): The studio apartment was very comfy, close to everything, really clean, and well taken care of. We’d recommend the Leon - Great location and close to everything in the Old City. If entering from Piles Gate it’s a short walk for a few blocks, and up a short way to the left to find the unit. We had one of the top apartments so expect lots of stairs. A little noisy at night from the below, but not something that would keep us away.

Many places in the old town have a lot of stairs to get up (no elevators). We stayed on the 1st floor so only 1 flight of stairs. The building was beautiful inside and out, classic Croatian style, but had modern conveniences. Could not recommend highly enough. We were expecting it to be noisy but once we closed the windows it was amazing how it blocked out the noise. Obviously very well built with quality in mind. Nothing

Muy muy peligroso. Falta una barrera o puerta e igualar los peldaños para evitar tropiezos innecesarios al ir al baño o salir de la habitación.

It was loud at night, but unfortunately that comes with staying in the city. Nice bathroom. Do conserve hot water or you will run out. Overall great stay close to a lot of things.

Very easy to get to from drop-off by taxi at Pile Gate, and thankfully it's on same level as the main street, so no struggling up lots of stairs on side streets with heavy cases, as other tourists we saw had to do. You do however have to lug cases up stairs within hotel if on top floor as we were , no lift. Beautiful room, everything catered for, perfectly clean. We arrived late evening from Montenegro by ferry, but arrangements were made with lady in cafe opposite to let us in. Perfect position to explore Old Town. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of the Old Town, it was so convenient, and I did not need to climb steps. It was also steps away from a gelato spot, and we love that for a night cap! • Debdyuti (10/5): Cute studio apartment at the heart of old town - Location is very good, if you come from Pile gate then you don’t have to climb stairs to reach the property. The room had everything we need. They also provided some breakfast buns and snacks bars. I loved how they have optimised the room space to create bedroom, living space, kitchen and bathroom. We liked everything, just note that the property is very clean but they don’t provide cleaning services during the stay. We didn’t have any problem but it could be if you are traveling with kids.

• Carolina (9/5): Incredible Location, few adjustments to make it perfect - Apartment location and facilities were superb, instructions from the hosts to get there with no stairs were key and very helpful. Windows are not soundproof and there is definitely quite some noise on the streets during dinner time. Also, heater ran out of hot water quite quickly, did not mind as we went during summer but not sure for the cooler months.

It’s in the heart of Old Town and the directions on how to enter through the Pile gate made it so we didn’t have hardly any steps to carry our luggage. The rooms were immaculately clean and lots of amenities (including towels!). Be sure to reach out to them ahead of time to schedule what time you will be arriving. I would 100% stay here again.

• Rosalie (10/5): - Amazing stay and location, we loved the attic apartment. It was clean, great shower, two tvs, and had everything we needed. WiFi worked well. We would stay again, however two things to note- for attic room you have to step across staircase to get to room from living room, we kind of got used to it but it was a safety hazard. And on checkout day we were told to leave our luggage in a back room that had no lock, not ideal but fine, and when we came back our suitcases were left in reception unattended. They should have a locked room if they offer to store suitcases, or be clear that they don’t offer that service. Thanks for a nice stay.

The apartment was in an amazing location, being right in the old town and therefore all the main attractions are in a walkable distance, with more than enough restaurant options around. It can get noisy at night, but after reading previous reviews and taking a good pair of ear plugs, I slept like a dream. Leonardo was a great host, checking with us when we would be arriving and saying we could leave luggage if required. I would 100% recommend staying here and would stay again if I am back in Dubrovnik

• Tri (10/5): - If I could give the Leonardo Baroque house 10 stars, I would! This was the perfect place to stay in the old town. If you can book this place, do it! We stayed here two nights, it was in a quiet off street away from the main street where everything is. So convenient! You are literally 20 feet from the action. Check-in was easy. The place is spotlessly clean. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the third floor. It had a lot of space but if you have problems with small stairs, this would be a bit difficult. The room also had a small kitchenette that came in very handy. There are a cute wine bar and tapas bar literally across the alley/small street from the hotel. We did not hear noise at all, so don’t worry about being next to a restaurant. The hotel is managed by one family and they are just absolutely the nicest. Excellent communication before and even AFTER our stay. Again, if you have a chance to book this place, don’t even think twice. Your search for hotel in DBV is over!

Access to the location is really simple, no stairs required. However, inside the property there are a few stairs to go to the bedroom. But no problem at all. The hosts were impeccable. Really recommend this stay in Dubrovnik ig you want to be inside the old town.

Inside of Old Town with easy access to all of the historic sites, but with modern amenities. It's also easy to access the property, with your luggage, from the Pile Gate. I only stayed two nights, but will definitely be back for a longer stay. The property offers a much more comfortable setting than just a typical hotel room. And the owners were wonderful. Don't miss the chance to enjoy Dubrovnik from Leonarda Baroque House!

• P.P. (9/5): Siisti huoneisto ja ystävällinen palvelu - Omistajaperhe oli todella ystävällinen. Huoneisto oli tilava, siisti, viihtyisä ja hyvällä paikalla keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Plussaa siitä että peittoja oli tarpeeksi, ei tarvinnut palella 😊 Portaat ylimpään huoneistoon olivat pitkät ja jyrkät. Meitä ne eivät juurikaan haitanneet, mutta en suosittelisi ylintä huoneistoa huonojalkaisille.

• Sheenagh (2/5): Terrible stay - We are outraged in regard to our three-day stay. We were booked in the upstairs apartment. We were unaware that the heating was not working well. As it was not working well, the noise of the heaters was so loud we had to turn them off to sleep. Hence we were quite cold in the bedroom at night. The owner had checked the heater so we had no reason to believe there was a problem. Once the owner discovered that there was a problem with the heating, we were asked to move downstairs to a room that was a fraction of the size of the apartment that we had rented. We were not allowed to put the regular heating on. Instead, we were given a portable heater that was very noisy so we could not put it on at night, when we were sleeping. It made sleeping very difficult. We were also very cold at night, which also made sleeping difficult. We never rent rooms that are on a street because of noise but we had no choice. As we were told we needed to stay in the room downstairs, that faced a noisy terrace until 12 pm. The owner gave us late check out but since he started very early in the morning doing renovations on the upstairs apartment, we were not able to get any sleep . The owner gave us 19 percent back in compensation. We should have been far better compensation for this terrible stay. The owner ignored my concerns. We should be able to rent an apartment that works. The owner was negligent but we suffered because of their negligence.

• Claudia Marquez (10/5): Lindo. Súper ubicación y cómodo. - Está muy bien ubicado. La atención es muy buena. Te dejan café y suficientes toallas para tu estadía. Está súper bien ubicado. Muy limpio y agradables vistas de los tejados del casco antiguo. Las escaleras internas son un poco estrechas. Hay que ir con equipaje ligero y todo estará bien. Mi recomendación cuando vayas a Dubrovnik es que no lleves mucho equipaje porque donde sea que te hospedes hay escaleras.

• Timothy (10/5): - This is a lovely little apartment in a fantastic location right in the middle of wonderful Dubrovnik old town. Really well supplied for conveniences whilst staying, clean & comfortable. The only issue, which we expected because of location, was a bit of noise from the bars ( ironically more when they were disposing of bottles in early morning rather than drinkers late night) and a bit of fried fish smell from the bars. But this should be expected at this location & wasn’t a real problem & did not detract from the overall very enjoyable experience. Directions & check in was efficient & very friendly.

• Peter (10/5): Perfect location and very comfortable and clean. - Location was perfect. Literally right on the door step of all of the old town - beautiful old setting in an old building. The property interior is almost new and had everything we needed. Air con was great. Comfortable bed. Good fridge, storage and cooking facilities. Leonarda and her family were very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved everything. Being very close to the old town means that you can hear some music from bars quite late into the night but it wasn't a problem for us - maybe not ideal for very light sleepers or take earplugs. We didn't need to use the dishwasher as we only cooked light means so a draining rack would have been a useful addition to the kitchen when hand washing plates, mugs and pans.

• Brian (10/5): - If visiting the old city is the purpose of your trip to Dubrovnik I highly recommend this place. You don't get any more central in the old city of Dubrovnik than this! A family run apartment building and their service was impeccable. This top floor unit was very bright with all of the skylights, and we enjoyed the windows that opened onto the street below and the well functioning air conditioning. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Beware if you are not up for the 4 flights of stairs, or if you are very tall you may find the low ceilings in some areas of the apartment inconvenient.
