• Ceren (10/5): Great location, lovely balcony, and exceptionally helpful hosts. - We had a truly wonderful stay. The hosts were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. One of the highlights was the lovely balcony, where we enjoyed peaceful breakfasts using items we easily picked up from the nearby market. It added a special charm to our mornings. Since we had a night bus, the hosts kindly allowed us to spend the evening in their beautiful garden, which really felt like they saved our day. Additionally, even after check-out, we were able to store our luggage in a small room in the garden, so we didn’t have to carry it around all day — a huge plus for us. Overall, it was a very warm and memorable experience, and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Ganz besonders hervorzuheben die Freundlichkeit der Gastfamilie und die selbstverständliche Möglichkeit, das Gepäck bis zum Abend stehen lassen zu können und sich beim Weggehen sogar noch waschen und umziehen zu können. Obwohl die Lage sehr ruhig ist, störten nachts immer wieder laute Geräusche, wahrscheinlich andere Gäste.

• Antoinette (10/5): Perfect location away from the busy old town and near the bus station - Beautiful lodging 20 minute walk from old town. Bus number 8 stops just by apartment too. Spotless, comfortable bed and pillow and plenty of hot water. Hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. Nice big balcony, and shared kettle microwave and toaster. Small fridge and sink in each bedroom I was extremely happy with the accommodation and price was very reasonable for Dubrovnik. Set in a nice quiet residential neighborhood.

• Shane (8/5): Good value - Good price for a private room. Having use of the balcony was ideal. Fridge and heater in the room. Basic shared kitchen facilities in the hallway - cutlery/kettle/microwave. Two toilets/showers was ideal in case one was occupied. Sweets/tea left by the host. The location suited me, walking distance from Old Town and Lapad but may not suit someone who doesn’t like walking/steps, I didn’t use the buses so can’t comment. Towels/wifi provided. Close to supermarkets. Could easily hear guests in other rooms. Small room/single bed.

• Miguel Ángel (8/5): Estancia sencilla en barrio tranquilo - La comodidad y tranquilidad. Esta caminando a unos 25 minutos del centro. Aunque la habitación es pequeñita, tiene todo lo justo y necesario para pasar una noche. Tiene lavabo dentro de la habitación, el wifi funcionaba bien y también tenia una pequeña nevera. Además, fuera de la habitación había un microondas y un hervidero. Pude aparcar relativamente cerca del alojamiento sin coste, pero porque era temporada baja, aunque la dueña al llegar me pregunto si necesitaba parking para el coche, así que supongo que me habría ofrecido alguna alternativa en caso de necesitarlo.

• Miri (10/5): - La amabilidad y la predisposición de la anfitriona a qué todo esté bien es increíble. Me ayudaron con el aparcamiento, que en Dubrovnik es complicado, entre ella y su hija encontramos una solución para mí corta estancia. La habitación muy completa y limpia, aunque el baño con ducha estaba fuera, dentro de la habitación te Ia un pequeño lavabo perfecto para lavar los dientes y la cara. El acceso está complicado, es una cuesta y escaleras muy empinadas. Pero mereció la pena.

• Anna (9/5): Perfect for solo travellers - Super nice location. Can easily walk there from the bus station, as well as ca 25min walk to the old town. There is a nice bakery nearby and also a big supermarket 8mins away. There was a an access to a terrace from my room where you can have a drink or smoke. The host was super nice and let me check in early as the room was available. The rooms are no sound proof so you hear every cough in the other rooms. It can get a bit cold in the evenings when I travelled there in October.

• Piotr (10/5): - Awesome place. Perfect location in the middle between harbour/bus station and the Old Town circa 20-25 minutes walk each direction. Owner's daughter real host. Very friendly, helpful and really nice woman. Check out by 10 am but you can leave luggage in a kind of "storage" ;). Highly recommend. If I go again I will book a room here for sure.
• aida (7/5): Good for short stay (bring earplugs) or come during cold months - The cheapest I could find in Dubrovnik that wasn’t a hostel and that was close to the port. It was clean and the host was super accommodating as I arrived at 2am. A single room has the internal fan/aircon that sounded like a pneumatic drill. I had to turn it off, which made the room v hot - but it was one or the other. Maybe the other rooms have cooling units from the 21st century.

• Hector (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Cleanliness of the WC and property in general. I like the terrace. Catch bus 8 from the station and get off at SIPCINE. From there cross the street and turn right and walk a few meters until you see the street name, I think it's the second stairs street and go up until the second property on your right, keep climbing until you reach the end of the building. Ask Mr. Bradas, charming and friendly host, to send you his What's App number. He's very good at answering instantly. There's a Tommy mini market downstairs. However, it's best to walk a bit further to a mall where you find a better stock Tommy hiper market (with ready to eat meals), a healthy shop (Bio bio), and bakeries. There's a good restaurant, Urban & Veggie, down the hill, too. Bus 8 also takes you to the Old Town and to the Platanus airport shuttle where you can also pay for baggage storage Limited space to hang clothes. It has a limited hanging rack behind the door.
• Skye (5/5): Small and clean but not great location - Very clean. Host was very friendly and allowed me to check in earlier, which I was very grateful for. The location is not good for visiting Dubrovnik Old Town. There is only 1 bus (No.8) - which is not very regular and takes ages to get back because it basically goes around in a huge circle! Walking is 2k into Old Town but it’s uphill on way home - but also sections along very busy roads. Not pleasant. Room was small & very basic.

• Veronika (8/5): I would say that for its price, it is a very nice, cozy, and charming hotel with very friendly staff. It has everything - It might be a good idea to add a fan in the small bedroom, as it gets quite hot and stuffy at night. It was more comfortable sleeping in the living room with the air conditioning. We didn’t particularly like the location, as it was quite difficult to walk up with our suitcases, but this is normal for Croatia. That said, we were satisfied with the value for money.
• frederic (8/5): Satisfaisant Mais ... - La Guest house se trouve à une vingtaine de minutes à pied de la gare routière / port ferry. Pour aller au vieux centre à pied c'est un peu plus long. L’accueil est vraiment sympathique et globalement l'hébergement est satisfaisant. Très propre. L’arrêt de bus pour le centre est juste à coté, frigo et petit lavabo dans la chambre. La chambre individuelle est petite et surtout mal organisée. La valise est restée par terre ouverte tout le séjour. Le bloc climatiseur individuel qui traine toujours au milieu, fait vraiment beaucoup de bruits, les équipements (micro onde, bouilloire...) sont finalement dans le couloir. Les prix sont certes élevés d'une manière générale à Dubrovnik, mais, ils faudrait quelques aménagements ou réorganisation pour justifier le prix.

El baño, aunque compartido, estaba bastante limpio La habitación es enana, con un sistema de aire acondicionado dentro con un tubo que sale por la puerta. Hay que pensar bien cada movimiento para poder colocar todo en la habitación

• Loreley (4/5): No volvería - Cerca del puerto y de la estación de bus (a 20 minutos caminando). Pude hacer el check-in a las 9am sin problema esperando sólo dejar mis maletas e irme y para mi sorpresa la habitación estaba lista, así que gentilmente me dejaron acomodarme. Muy amable el anfitrión, incluso respondiendo mis mensajes por mail. La habitación muy chica, sin lugar casi para poner la maleta. La tuve que subir a una mesa y además usar la silla para que no se cayera y perdí lugares para apoyar cosas. Incluso tenía un aire acondicionado portátil, el cual también ocupada su espacio, pero bueno, preferible eso a sufrir calor. Estaba un poco sucia, sobre todo el lavabo, el cual tuve que limpiar con una toalla húmeda. Tenía una sola toalla, la grande pero no la pequeña. Los baños muy pequeños y al usar las duchas, quedaba mojado todo el piso del baño, el cual no sabía cómo secar. Estaba bastante alejado del old town (a 45/50 minutos caminando). En relación al precio, me pareció muy caro para ser una habitación pequeña, con baño compartido y alejada del centro. Pagué casi lo mismo en otra guest house frente an old town, con una vista espectacular y una habitación hermosa, grande, con baño y con cocina días antes. Muy muy cara para lo que era.
