• Bas (5/5): The appartment was good but it was by far the least hospitable experience we’ve ever had in Italy. - We booked last minute. When we arrived at the door, we called to ask how to get in. The host refused to give us the access code because we first had to check in online. That meant standing on a busy street doing a clumsy 20-minute online check-in, including uploading all kinds of photos of our documents. Everyone was tired from the journey and the long walk and just needed the bathroom. The tone of the host was also very rude. Late in the evening the lock stopped working and we couldn’t get in. Again, the very unfriendly host on the phone said they could send someone, but it would take a long time. In the end, after a lot of fiddling, we managed to get the lock open ourselves. At 10 in the morning the cleaning crew barged into our room and told us to leave. The appartment was good but it was by far the least hospitable experience we’ve ever had in Italy.

• caroline (10/5): Stunning spacious apartment with a excellent hosts - The apartment was clean and tidy. It was modern with lovely character. It had all that we needed and lots of space. We travelled as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children ages 8, 13, 15 & 17). The location was perfect for us, not far from the train station and within walking distance of all we wanted to see. The host was very attentive to messages and replied straight away. Access to the apartment was simple. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend this apartment as a base when exploring Florence Nothing!

• Juliet (6/5): - Safe area. A large apartment. Only one flight of stairs. Close to the railway station and museums. The apartment, furniture, cleanliness and position was ok, the problem was silly things that could be repaired very easily or renewed. My door didn't close at all. Not all the sockets worked, the grouting in the shower was dirty. Nowhere to sit comfortably. As I said, silly little things that could be easily rectified. It was a real shame.

• Clare (9/5): Beautiful apartment, great location. - Location was great. Close to everything such as restaurants, leather goods market, duomo and shopping. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we required. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We just needed some extra toilet paper which we requested (generous offer of the hosts to provide more if required). Unfortunately we didn’t receive this as organised but it really was a minor thing. It did not affect our stay or the wonderful apartment.

• Omt (7/5): Great location but missing the basics - The location was very central. The apartment was cool which was great as the temperatures in mid-July were high. It was spacious. Some small additions would have made a big difference. There was no toilet paper or any cloths to wipe down the table or the kitchen sink. The toilet was difficult to flush and the white plastic wall covering that flushes the toilet fell off and had to be reaffixed. We didn't meet anybody but got a call on the 2nd afternoon of our two-night stay to see if all was OK.

To improve it even further, it would be interesting to have more blankets available, just that.
• Cindi (7/5): Location was good, it was clean (aside from the shower), beds were comfortable and staff very helpful. They just need to - Good location. The shower was full of mold and the water was hot and cold, hot and cold. It was hot and cold for the very first shower so not that it was running out of hot water, but every minute or so water was ice cold. Needs a good bleach cleaning to remove the mold.
• Josephine (5/5): Old flat, dark, needs upgrade - Location is quite central. Spacious. That's about it. The shower water is a "drip". No water pressure. Water temperature unstable & we all got burned by the sudden hot water. The "self check in" app wasn't working very well. It's redundant, time-consuming & not easy. The entrance PINs are not emailed to you but need to access by a link, means you need internet. The stairs to the flat (on the 2nd floor) are narrow and steep so if you have heavy luggage or are alone, be forewarned. The flat is old. The furnishing is old. Bedding & towels are old. The kitchen is old. The shower has mold all over. Upstairs is noisy. There is no "terrace" or balcony. It's a strange outside space like an inner atrium where you see only 4 walls with a 4x4' space. It's dark, old, and depressing. Doesn't look like the pictures.

We bought a small fan which helped some. shower looked dirty and the shower head needs replacing. it kept falling while showering. ants in kitchen upon arrival.

• Jose (7/5): Bathroom situation not great but the rest of the accommodations are a good value for the location - Good value and location within a ten minute walk from Santa Maria Novella and about a five minute walk from San Lorenzo Market. A wide selection of good cafes and restaurants close by. Check in and key retrieval was easy and uncomplicated. We even got to leave our luggage early, since we arrived before the check in time. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortably accommodates 6 people. Only one bathroom and one shower for 6 people can make toilet logistics inconvenient. The shower head holder was broken, which made the showering experience a bit difficult. Low water pressure and inconsistent water temperatures (perhaps simply old plumbing). I reported the shower head problem to the host. They advised someone would come by to repair the problem but they never came by during our stay. So that part was disappointing.

• Anthony (8/5): Good location- close to Mercato San Lorenzo - Excellent location, not far from Mercato San Lorenzo, SMN station and the Duomo. The apartment is well preserved and has a great old Florence feel. The space was large enough for 5 of us, and the kitchen worked well enough. Having a washing machine is always a plus. The bathroom was less than ideal, the shower should be remodeled as it is small and in poor condition. We've traveled a lot, so we're used to facilities that are old and below average condition, especially in Italy. But some people wouldn't appreciate it.

• Susan (9/5): Superb - Like the size of the apartment. Very roomy. Great location. Noisy neighbors upstairs, till the early morning hours. The shower head wouldn't stay in place. Kept moving.
• Singh (1/5): I had to leave the apartment within 1 hour, even after paying around Euro 550. You can imagine how bad it would be - Nothing The pictures shown are fake. There is no city view , in fact there is now view at all and you would feel claustrophobic. The bed is placed in a hall and the rooms are very small and smelly . One very small bathroom for 5 people. The support staff was unhelpful and rude. They even threatened to take action against me if I post a bad review. I left within 1 hour of entering and amazingly Mamo Florence posted the very same apartment on booking.com again without refunding any money to me (they had already taken full prepayment of Euro 550 from me)

• Teresa (8/5): We enjoyed our stay in Florence very much. - The property had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and pillows. The neighbours above were very noisy. Not Mama Florence fault but they were noisy until after midnight. The carts were taken out from garages below at 530 am and were quite noisy.

• Ranjister (10/5): Excellent place for a comfortable time in Florence - The place is spacious, rustic, and excellent. The construction is such that even in summer the place is slightly cool and comfortable. So much space was there and almost all amenities were there. Many cafes and restaurants are close by. The central train station was like 15-20 minutes walk time or you could get a bus to the central station. Cathedral and David are within walking distance also. Very nice stay and a very good and responsive host. Fully recommend The roads are a bit too tight. if you come by car, you may struggle around the corners.

Only room that was cool was the 1st bedroom. No instructions on washing machine and we couldn't figure it out.
• Bao (8/5): Very good - Location is good. It close to the train station and just in a walking distance to the attractions even with my kid. Hotel room is big. The air conditioner is not working well. It is not comfortable if you stay in a summer time.
• Evaawong (4/5): Disappointing - The location itself is what we were looking for, easy to get to places without it being super crowded. The staff was also super responsive. There is only AC in the 2 rooms, which meant it could get quite hot in the living room. Unfortunately when we were there (around a heat wave), the AC wasn't working in 1 of the rooms and the fan in that room didn't blow any air, but the staff was quick to help us with calling a handyman and bringing an additional fan. The place itself while being quite large, was a bit disappointing as the beds were quite thin, the apartment is on the older side, and the bathroom was quite tiny and moldy.
• Valaria (3/5): Poor - nothing! This place is a dump. the mattresses are cot mattresses. For a 3 night stay 3 tiny rolls of toilet paper. Each person received 1 hand towel and one bath towel for 3 nights of use. The place is filthy, moldy and you couldn't get me to stay again for free. A real slum.

• Valerie (6/5): Pleasant. - Great location by the market and not far from the train station. The area of the shower could use a good scrubbing. There was a lot of mold both inside and outside around the shower that could easily be removed with a hard scrubbing. Moreover, the floors of the apartment were pretty dirty and turned our feet and socks dirty pretty quickly. Overall, a better, more thorough cleaning of the apartment would have been nice.

• Sandy (8/5): Enjoyable and relaxing stay with attractions nearby - The location is good, about 10min to train station, the cathedral and Accademia Gallery. There are self-laundry across the street (so don't need to worries about if the laundry didn't dried out before leaving) and small restaurants or bakeries nearby, making it convenient for the stay. The rooms and general area are big enough for our stay. The boiler was not working during our stay so we were out of hot wafer for showering during one night. The staff was responsible and helpful to resolve the issue within reasonable manner. In general, everything is good. The only thing making the stay not perfect may be the apartment is relatively old so the space for the bathroom and the kitchen is kind of limited. Also, there are molds in the bathroom.

• Pelin (8/5): Super accomadition for group - Stuff was very helpfull. They gave us all information that we need during our vacation. Even they helped me and answer all of my questions before arrival. Location is very very good. You can walk just 10 minutes to Dome, its very close to Mercato Centrale which is found very delicious delicatessen. If you want they will arrange parking area and there is a lot of car park in neighborhood.Terrace is not very big and its very concentric with other apartmant we dont sit there because we didnt want disturb noone.But the terrace view is so Italian :). Kitchen has enough metarial for cooking and there was a glass of wine for us. Sheets was clean. Thank you so much for everthing Cleaning was not perfect, even there were a lots of dusts at floor and ceiling

The location was perfect. Its an old place, it does need some improvements. It was cold too. And the very first night electricity went off.
