• Jon (10/5): Perfect place to stay to visit Old Town! - We stayed for a few days visiting to the old town and the location was PERFECT!!! The apartment had everything you could need and we met the hosts at check in and they were so helpful, offering tips for our stay (where to go, food recommendations etc). Definitely recommend staying here!!!! The slight note was it would have been nice to have a smart tv in other room as we used it as a ‘living room’ but that’s just a minor detail! Aside from that, it was perfect!!

The apartment was beautiful, quiet and in a great location, close to cafes and restaurants, we had everything we needed as in cooking needs and washing, everything was supplied. • Asha (10/5): Perfect gem in Dubrovnik - Hosts were amazing, we were met by Anna the hosts sister where the taxi dropped us offer. She was so friendly helpful & offered lots of advice. The apartment is small but perfectly thought out. It has everything you could need. It is very well stocked-with all the usual thing plus much more (iron, hoover, tea, coffee, sugar creamer, sweeties, seasoning, oil vinegar, cleaning items, plenty of towels, extra blankets& pillows, fans plus AC, loo roll, kitchen roll, bin bags, extension plugs, toiletries, laundry items, umbrellas, beach towels, even cotton wool pads!). The location is brilliant, very easy to find & lots of restaurants nearby & very close to main attractions. The apartment had lots of information on things to see/do in Dubrovnik. You can reach the apartment via step free access from Pile Gate in less than 10mins, although the apartment itself is up a few stairs. Of course, having a teen with us, the wifi was a necssity & it worked very well. We also had a special treat waiting for us in the fridge as it was my birthday (wine & beer). Communication with the host before, during & after the stay was excellent. We would definitely recommend this apartment & hope to stay again in the future! Nothing

From the moment we arrived, Theo was an exceptional host. He personally met us at the Pile drop-off point and guided us to the apartment, making the arrival process smooth and welcoming. Theo took the time to sit down with us and thoroughly explain everything we needed to know about the apartment and the city. He offered incredibly helpful tips, including local dos and don’ts, which really enhanced our experience. He went above and beyond by organizing all our local transportation and airport transfers, which made getting around completely hassle-free. Additionally, Theo shared his personal webpage filled with curated recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and places of interest—it was an absolute gem and made planning our days so easy. Closing windows does keep a good amount of the noise out. Only missing some outdoor space, even a small balcony. Other wise easy to get to from Pile gate.

He was understanding about our challenges when Turkish Airlines cancelled our flight. He organised transport from the airport and then met us outside the town walls and brought us to the apartment. Sat with us and helped us navigate the area and made fantastic suggestions. ‘Givo’ was great. Highly recommended this property for location and overall quality. The pillows for the bedding were average but we have found most pillows in Europe are like this. The bed/mattress comfort was just ok as well.

SPOTLESS CLEAN, STEPS AWAY FROM PILE GATE - Divo (owner of the apartment) was EXTREMELY Responsive in Booking.com months prior to our arrival in planning our stay. Day of arrival Divo communicated thru "WhatsApp" Driving and parking around Dubrovnik castle walls is difficult at best. We had a car and Divo pined a parking lot location we were able to meet him. Divio carried my wife bag to the apartment and provided a great overview of places we were interested in seeing and doing. Divo reviewed my plans for our visit and gave fantastic pointers. Divo provided simply the best Customer service we had out of all our Booking.com stays in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia !. The apartment was spotless and there were no steps (well maybe a few) to the apartment from the short walk at Pile Gate. The place has a washer and you can dry your clothes like a local out the window on cloths line across the courtyard with wooden clips(GREAT FRESH SENT). The bed was comfortable there was TV(we were so tired each day we did not turn it on) Had all the appliances microwave, pots pans, glassware, and refrigerator. Littely everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Location is EXCELLENT in the heart of the action on "WIDE STREET" Highly recommended! You will not find a better place in Dubrovnik! EVERTING WAS EXCELLENT!
• Priya (10/5): Exceptional stay right in the center of the Old Town - The apartment and owner are fabulous. The location was exceptional, not more than a 5 minute walk to the sites of Dubrovnik. There is a restaurant right outside the apartment where we had an excellent breakfast. Despite being in the center of the Old Town, it is very quiet and we managed to sleep very well. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The host was also delightful - he gave us advice, spent time taking us through the map, tourist spots, recommendations of where to eat, answered our multiple questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, or stay here again when in Dubrovnik. Nothing

The apartment is 2nd floor. The appartment was perfect, comfortable and had everything you would and need. Maybe even a few extra. The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Every generous with his time. I have small mobility scooter. He allowed to charge it and store on ground floor. Which greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend this apartment. Nothing.
• Michelle (9/5): Comfortable accommodation in the Old Town - The owner met us outside Pile Gate and helped us navigate to the apartment. It is easy to locate, however made easier with his assistance on the first entry. The apartment is compact (being located in a town centuries old) however well thought out, clean, comfortable and having all amenities and comforts of home. Small details like a selection of teas, some kitchen basics (food supplies) even a bottle of fruit juice in the fridge for our arrival (being August in Croatia). Đivo kindly reminded us the following day was a national holiday, allowing us the opportunity to buy supplies at the supermarket that night, had a map to show us the location of the supermarket and recommended places to eat. Air conditioning kept us comfortable overnight, beds were comfortable and we were able to keep our luggage downstairs after checkout. Overall, a deal of effort has been made to ensure guests enjoy their stay, which we very much did. That we did not stay longer!

• Jagat (10/5): Good apartment in an excellent location. - This apartment is in an excellent location which is near the pile entrance and on the flatter side of the town. You do have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the apartment. It was comfortably stocked with everything we needed, the AC kept it cool and the windows had good sound proofing. It was bright inside. The bed was comfortable. Nothing really.

Vueling lost my luggage and i really do not have what to wear, and kindly Givo lend me some clothes. He also help us with the excursions!!!! Excellent!!!!! That we have to leave the apartment!

• Bernard (9/5): Spacious modern apartment in great location - Spacious 3 room apartment with well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. Good location in the old town. Bright and sunny. This would be good for longer stays too. Nothing really. Note that it can be noisy due to outdoor restaurant in plaza below, but soundproof windows and a/c make it very quiet.

• Nicole (8/5): Very good apartment - Perfectly situated in Dubrovnik Old Town, just a few steps from Stradun. No steps to climb (other than the steps in the house; the apartment was on the second floor/third floor if you are from US). AC did its job and is a must in the summer. Nice bathroom. Third bed is in the living room. We were welcomed by Anita who is totally charming. She met us at Pile Gate and led us to the apartment. She had juice and water ready for us. There were some spices, oil, cookies, and apples (thank you for those, Anita!). Really, there was nothing missing. WiFi worked well. Used the washing machine and it worked well (but was a bit noisy). Soul Food Restaurant next to the house is recommended. They are a fun gang and the food is good. Nothing to do with the apartment, but Dubrovnik is sooo expensive. Brace yourselves.

• Dorota (10/5): We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Apartment Theo! - The host was very helpful and the apartment felt very homey. It was stocked up with necessary household items so the only thing we had to buy was food. Outside the building also lived two friendly cats :). The only small downside was that across the street from the apartment was a restaurant so you could sometimes hear noises coming from it, but it wasn't really bothersome if you closed the windows.
• Timo (10/5): One week holiday in beautiful old town and surroundings - The host ms. Anita is very helpful and kind. She gave us the keys personally. The apartment is very well equipped. The location is excellent in the heart of the old town. Route from the Pile gate is short and there are not many stairs. Our apartment was in the second floor. Unfortunately the washing machine did not work in our apartment. We reported to the host and she came to check the machine. It did not work but she took our laundry to wash and returned it next day. This is good service! None

• Victoria (7/5): Good - Very clean and very well equipped. The location is very good, walking distance to all the places of interest. There is a excellent restaurant just next door, Domino. Quite challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There are two flights of a spiral staircase to get to the apartment. Noise coming from the apartment above very early in the morning. I suppose it is expected when staying in a flat with people living above.
• Van (9/5): Perfect location. My family was very satisfied with the apartment during our 3-night stay - Perfect location, right in the old town within the wall. My host was also helpful The noise by the crowd below my window in the night. But it's not something manageable. Besides, the neighbor on one floor down was rather strict, they had a toddler, that's why they were sensitive of the sound we created when we walked the stairs, even though we almost tip toed in the early morning (we left the apartment at 6:30 am for the day tour and returned around 8-9 pm)
• Ken (9/5): Centrally located, quiet and clean apartment, requiring almost no steps to get to from the Pile - We had an excellent experience in staying at Old Town Apartment Theo. It was perfectly located within the old town walls of Dubrovnik. It was less than a 10 minute walk from the Pile Gate entrance with almost no stairs to climb from the Pile Gate over to the apartment entrance. Out unit was on the 2nd floor , so there were some stairs to get to it, but this was pretty minimal compared to how many stairs need to be climbed when getting around old town. The rental is very centrally located nearby both dining and all of the tourist attractions, but the noise was quite minimal throughout the day and evening hours. Our host was very gracious and had the kitchen well stocked with essentials. The apartment was also very clean and the queen size bed very comfortable. We did have a slight difficulty navigating to the exact address (from the Pile Gate), since it does not show up very well on Google Maps - best solution is to ask a local shop owner for guidance (like what we did) once you get close to the apartment location.

• Satyawan (9/5): Excellent stay. Would definitely recommend. - Fully furnished, immaculately maintained, clean and cosy, in the Old town. Close to the Pile Gate. With all amenities one can possibly need, including a well equipped kitchen. It can be a bit tricky to find the exact entrance of the apartment block. But the host, Anita was there promptly to guide. It’s essential to keep her informed of the arrival time to avoid the hassle of feeling stranded outside.
• Shawn (10/5): You will love it! - The location was prefect! The place was beautiful. Anita is AMAZING! I definitely would recommend this place. And when we visit again, we hope this place is available so that we can stay here again. The location is in walking distance to everything, we did rent a car because it was cheap. Finding parking is very hard we had to park 20 min walk away, which was fine with us. We parked at Dubrovnik City Parking-I also recommend that parking lot, Great rate and service. If you rent a car, that's your best affordable parking spot. If you don't rent a car, again her location is in walking distance to everything including the beaches. We absolutely loved her place! No need to look anywhere else, go ahead and book it.

Kitchen so well equipped. We loved everything about the apartment! Our host was amazing, allowed us to check in early after our early arrival, we were very grateful for that. Nothing we did not like about this apartment and we would definitely stay here again. (One word of kind advice - please be considerate to the man living below this apartment, he works at night so he has to sleep during the day, please try and keep your noise level down. Apparently, shifting our suitcase on the floor made a lot of noise for him...)
• Jane (9/5): Apt Theo is very centrally located in old town with minimal steps. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. - Centrally located. Well equipped. Very clean. Minimal stairs in town to get into property
• Pat (10/5): Near the main st and on the flat - Excellent met by the host who escorted us to the apartment, short walk to the apartment quick check over the apartment making sure we had everything we needed. All the information about Wi Fi. The bed linen, towels etc were very clean. The host left water, juice in the fridge. Overall the host and apartment was excellent
• Alena (10/5): Cozy apartment in the heart of the Old Town - The apartment is super cozy and close to all the attractions in the Old Town. Both bedrooms are equipped with an air conditioner and there is a really good and powerful shower in the bethroom. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. She offered us water and juice in our arriving and said we could contact her any time. I liked everything.
• Matheus (10/5): Simply the best property of this summer! Anita is too polite and careful. - The location is fantastic. Anita cares about all details on the property, which are a lot. Extremely polite and worried about our being well We loved everything!
