Also the rooftop is great. Nice view. Rooms are clean, fresh towels every day, refreshing drink in the lobby. Noise from the street. But, hey, this is NYC.

Comodità di avere l'app per aprire la porta della tua stanza e per comunicare con lo staff. Consigliatissimo, soggiornerò qui la prossima volta che torno a New York.

- Daniel (8/5): I recommend the place - Practical, kitchen was well equipped, there was washer dryer but we didn’t use. Bed is very good, spacious & comfy. Unit had some wear & tear but nothing that caused discomfort, just aesthetics. Rooftop is a great place to visit. Weather didn’t motivate us to try the pool. There’s a 7Eleven very close and a Whole Foods nearby to stock up the studio. Watch out for your valuables (common practice in NYC) Subway station is also within a couple minutes distant Wear & tear Holes on the wall Worn out floors Doors on cabinets a little misaligned due to sagging

- Roberta (9/5): - Spazio enorme. Pensare che a NY ci siano appartamenti così grandi è quasi un sogno....e invece, al Sonder si realizza! Cucina attrezzata di tutto, moderna ed enorme!!! Troverete caffè the per i primi giorni, Lavatrice e asciugatrice in camera danno sicuramente un punteggio in più (con le tabs a disposizione!) La struttura è recente, ben tenuta, lo staff gentile e disponibile: avevo letto commenti non edificanti sul divano letto per cui ho gentilmente richiesto un Topper prima del nostro arrivo e lo abbiamo trovato prontamente in camera! Ottima la posizione! Vista laterale su Battery Park, merita. Purtroppo non c'è possibilità di chiamare la reception, devi tornare al piano terra per comunicare qualcosa....noi purtroppo avevamo il divano letto con un braccio rotto, non sono riusciti a sistemarlo ma ci hanno accordato un compensazione sul prezzo. Abbiamo apprezzato!

- L3241AVlynnr (2/5): Terribly managed | Unresponsive staff and Filthy bedding - The property is poorly managed and has a serious problem with housekeeping. We were told housekeeping was not available for days and that we had to clean our own room. Two weeks passed before we could get someone to clean the room. During those two weeks I asked daily for the Manger of the property to email or call or stop by the room. Nothing. Never heard a peep. When we asked for the sheets to change the bed, it took two days to get them. In changing the sheets, we found the mattress covered in dirt and hair. It was disgusting. If capable, and experienced management is put in place, the property could be good as it is fairly new with some amenities. But, not cleaning the room or providing linens and towels is not only unacceptable, it is a violation of the NYC clean act. The property will not improve until management is replaced. Not addressing a guests issues timely is poor service but ignoring the guest intentionally for days on end is incompetent and indecent. The property is not cheap. It can afford experienced management trained in the hospitality sector.
- Guest (8/5): Overall a great experience at Sonder Battery Park - The location of the hotel was perfect, a very short walk to Bowling Green or Rector Street subway with Wall St and Fulton Street also close by. It was also close to the Staten Island Ferry, 9/11 memorial and museum, the oculus and the charging bull. The apartment itself was wonderful - spotlessly clean, spacious and modern. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided and it was great to have a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable which is so important after a long day exploring the city. We loved to rooftop terrace. I would like to visit again when the pool is open. The entry system was a bit of a pain - very temperamental; sometimes the digital key on the app would work, sometimes not. Same with the number code. I saw other guests having problems with it too. The air conditioning system was VERY loud. Fortunately we were visiting in October so we didn't need it on all the time but it would make me think twice about staying here in the summer. On a couple of occasions housekeeping did not leave sufficient towels for 2 guests. The staff at reception quickly provided more but it was a pain.

Nach der ersten Nacht wäre ich am liebsten abgereist. Man hat das Gefühl, auf Sprungfedern zu schlafen und am Körper hatte man auch Abdrücke nach den schlafen von den Federn. Ist man nicht auf das Schlafsofa angewiesen, würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen, so aber auf keinen Fall nochmal. Nach 7 Nächten auf dem Sofa, ist man echt durch… Schade!

We booked a room with a city view and were given a room looking at the brick wall of another building.

My room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and well-maintained, aside from a dishwasher and shampoo bottle pump that didn’t work perfectly. (A tiny issue overall) Nothing. It was a great stay!!!

The kitchen was quite complete, with everything you need and more (I wasn't expecting to see a washing machine and a dryer!). The views from both the room and the rooftop were breathtaking. The location was great! I will definitely be back! The room cleaning process was slightly confusing: at first, they told me I would need to book. I did so via the app, and that was fine, but on the days I didn't book, the room was still cleaned (not complaining, though!). However, I was disappointed that the coworking space/business center was closed, which I was expecting. I visited NYC while working remotely, and since the room didn't have a desk, it wasn't very comfortable for meetings. Also, the gym at this hotel was very small (at one point, we were four people in the gym with no space to stretch) and had very limited equipment.

- Luis (4/5): Ubicación excelente, servicio pobre - La ubicación es lo mejor del apartamento. Esta céntrica, muy bien comunicada y con multiples servicios alrededor. El personal es claramente insuficiente. Durante toda una semana de estancia, el suelo del apartamento, la cocina y los baños no se limpiaron en ninguna ocasión. Básicamente, el servicio se limitó a hacer la cama, cambiar las sábanas y retirar la basura. Incluso hubo un día en el que directamente no aparecieron; al acudir a recepción a preguntar, nos respondieron que no sabían nada y que el personal de limpieza acababa a las 17 00 de trabajar, y que ya era tarde. Además, tampoco reponen el papel de cocina, té, cafe, pastillas para el lavavajillas etc. Cuentan con un armario en donde se pueden recoger estos artículos, pero nadie nos informó de ello y lo descubrimos casi al final de la estancia.

- Jakub (7/5): Świetny nocleg w dzielnicy handlowej z dobrym stosunkiem jakości do ceny - Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra i świetnie skomunikowana. Strefa wspólna na dachu jest ogromnym plusem. Basen nie jest ogrzewany ale w ciepłe dni daje dokładnie to czego trzeba. Pokój był odpowiednich rozmiarów i był dobrze wyposażony. Łazienka i kosmetyki spełniły nasze oczekiwania. Serwis sprzątający bez zarzutów. Musieliśmy spędzić pierwszą noc w innym obiekcie nie znając powodu. Właściwie to chcieli przenieść cały nas pobyt do innej lokalizacji która była zdecydowanie gorsza ale po wielu mailach udało się spędzić większość pobytu w tym hotelu. Czajnik ciekł i nie został wymieniony pomimo zgłoszenia.

Las instalaciones impecables, la terraza con piscina es un gustazo con las vistas. El personas de servicio y limpieza muy atentos. El apartamento estaba equipado con todo! Servicio de locked por si necesitas dejar el equipaje.

We liked the rooftop although would have welcomed warmer water in the pool. Our room was great and the W/D was a huge win for me as I travelled with 3 kids. The room was spacious and the kitchen was great. Housekeeping skipped our room one day although we left pretty early and didn’t come back until late. I think it was an honest mistake.

- Virginie (9/5): Super hébergement dans quartier Sud de Manhattan - Spacieux et propre, avec superbe vue sur Manhattan (14ème étage); personnel aimable et très serviable, vraiment aux petits soins pour rendre séjour agréable. Hébergement idéalement situé (pointe sud de Manhattan, à 400m des ferries pour Statue de la Liberté et Southern Island), métros à proximité… Le prix n’est pas parmi les plus chers mais il reste assez élevé (malgré cela, appart tout de même réservé / à sa position géographique)
