- Chadwick/Rachele Bowers (10/5): - It is a very well run hotel, a wonderful accommodation on the Buyukada island in a very serene and comfortable setting. We enjoyed sitting in the front area sipping Turkish coffee and watching the beautiful surroundings.

- Sara (10/5): - Ik ben samen met mijn familie in Hotel Görkemli verbleven en we hebben er een fantastische tijd gehad. De kamers waren comfortabel en de hoteleigenaren en medewerkers waren zó gastvrij. We voelden ons er helemaal thuis. Ook het eten was heerlijk. Zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten waren verrukkelijk en smaakten alsof het met liefde was klaargemaakt — bijna als thuis. Elke keer dat ik naar Büyükada ga, zal ik zeker weer in dit hotel verblijven. We hebben er prachtige herinneringen gemaakt. De medewerkers waren ontzettend zorgzaam, lief en gezellig. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we aan niets tekort kwamen. En dan hebben ze ook nog een schattige puppy waar we geen genoeg van konden krijgen! Het strand was bovendien heel dichtbij, wat ideaal was. Omdat de omgeving zo mooi en rustgevend is, merk je niet eens dat je een halfuur onderweg bent naar het centrum. Dat geldt trouwens ook voor andere stranden en bezienswaardigheden, zoals Aya Yorgi. Ze hebben onze ervaring in Büyükada nog mooier gemaakt. We kijken er nu al naar uit om terug te komen!
- Mehmet (10/5): - Adada spontane son dakika kalmaya karar verip burayı tercih ettim. Kendi bisikletimle geldim. Bu oteli tercih etmemdeki etmen hemen yakınında denize girilebilecek bir paralı plaj olmasıydı. Yarış bisikletimle geldiğimden dışarıda emanet bırakamıyorum. Otel sahibi ve çalışanları çok güler yüzlü idi. Oda alt kattaydı ama havasız değildi çok. Banyo falan idare ederdi. Muslukta falan biraz su kaçağı vardı. Ancak temizlik, çarşaf temizliği gibi konularda gayet iyiydi. O yüzden keyifle konaklamamı yaptım. Bir tık ada merkezine yürüme uzak olabilir ama ben bisikletimle gelmiştim. Yürüme mesafesinde denizime girdim ve adanın keyfini aldım. Temel konaklama şartları bana yeterli diyenlerin rahatlıkla kalabileceği bir otel.
- Maksim (9/5): Perfect for short trips - Great price - quality ratio, very friendly staff and very beautiful view. House is old but feels nice in a vintage way. Great stay for a short term. The main city is about 25 mins of beautiful walk, small grocery store is 10 mins away. Paid beach is 3 mins away, as of 2025 summer it was 500 lira per person. The bathroom smelled of black mould, and had visible black mould patches, some items were a bit dirty too.

- Tessa (10/5): It was great, air con worked perfectly and the people who worked there were accommodating. - The people were very kind and the location was perfect. Right by a cozy beach. No soap or shampoo was provided but i had my own luckily. And the WiFi didn’t reach our room.

I especially loved the balcony with forest views and the wild birds 😅 Lovely kind lady made loads tea for me that lasted half a day at a big heat proof kettle and treated to Fantastic cakes she made!!! I am so really grateful. I felt comforted and looked after. Kind people and the place is really clean. Location is really convenient as for the beach. One beach is more expensive but really worth it, especially when a short stay!! I was able to agree a cheaper price at that beach as I had my breakfast, and dinner there. I hope to return soon again especially I left something important there and they kindly agreed to keep it for me. I am delighted with the overall experience. Really comfortable seats furniture Everything was fabulous . I am feeling happy 🙂😊
- Ilaha (8/5): - Otobus duragina, plyaja ve kafeye yakin, sakin, restoranti olan guzel bir otel. Sahibi de cok iyi bir insan, calisan hanimefendi de öyle, zarif ve yardimsever. Bir daha buyukadaya yolum duserse, subhesiz "Gorkemli" oteli sececegim. Sadece aman diyeyim banyo icin verilen tek kullanimlik terlikleri giymeyin, cok kaygan, Allah korusun cocuk az daha bacagini kiracakti. Onun disinda ev bir az daha temiz ola bilirdi, yataklarin alti cok tozluydu.
- Adam (10/5): I love to stay at this calm and clean hotel. Will definitely come back . - Super clean room . Super comfortable bed . It was a quite and welcoming place. The receiption desk was quite welcoming and helpful. The washroom had no hooks for clothes and towel and the shower head had no support as well. Almost 2 kilometers from the ferry terminal.

- Nilofar (8/5): I loved the place - I liked the whole eiland and the hotel was nice and clean. I liked the lady who worked there and gave me tea. I liked that it was a family business and the sons were quite friendly despite not knowing English well. That they elevated the price from 600 lira to 1000 lira. I had an issue with health so I stayed to heal before a flight. They said it was weekend price, I wish I had booked for multiple nights the first time and didn’t have to do it via hotel itself.

- Allison (8/5): - Overall the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast included was very nice :) The room was clean and comfortable for the three of us. The one small complaint would be that we were in the basement, and noise really carried from the higher floors, so even late at night when people were coming and going or talking, it was a bit disruptive. But for the price it was still a nice stay.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Beklenti Altında Kalan Konaklama - Oda metrekaresi aşırı düşük ve duvarlardan sıvalar dökülmüş , lavaboya geçerken bile duvarlara değmeden geçmek neredeyse imkansız. standart oda olarak verilen oda girişin alt katı yani bodrum olarak düşünülebilir , odada kumanda olmadığını söylediğimde mutlaka odadadır yatağın arasına veya altına düşmüş olabilir dendi. Odanın hiçbir yerinde bulamamam sonucu yatağın altına eğildiğimde ise bir çift terlik , pet şişe , bolca toz gördüm. Hayvan dostu olmama rağmen kapıda bağlı olan köpeğin sabaha doğru havlaması sebebiyle bayağı erken uyanmak zorunda kaldık. Fiyat performans olarak bir butik otelde sadece temizlik ve ilgi aramıştık fakat bunlar bile mevcut değildi.

It will be good to have small refrigerator in the room and a tea pot for boiling water plus some coffee and tea, not to bother service person for some tea at night.

Hem ada konusunda hem genel olarak kendilerine sorduğumuz hiçbir soruyu cevapsız bırakmadılar sağolsunlar. Tek sıkıntı standart oda birazcık küçük ama yine de her şey çok keyifliydi, kesinlikle tavsiye ederim, fiyat/performans açısından çok iyi ve huzurlu bir otel :)

Ama oda sıfır hatta sıfırın altında. Buradan rezervasyon yaparken yazmamasına rağmen, normal/lüks oda ayırımı varmış. Gidince gördük. Küvet yok,banyo ufak, tv çalışmıyor , pencere varla yok arası . Gitmeden önce mutlaka teyit alınmalı.
