- Amaia (10/5): - La ubicación y la comodidad de la cama sobre todo
- Ben (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful modern and spacious apartment, experience matched the images, comfortable bed, good amenities, nice location, easy check in and out, overall perfect stay. Will stay again here. The window blinds are hard to use, you can add some instruction
- Anna (10/5): - Easy just used the pass codes Everything
- Nunzia Francesca (7/5): Good location - Posizione eccellente. Appartamento spazioso. L'appartamento non era pulito (molta polvere) il bagno aveva dei problemi e quando l'abbiamo segnalato non ci hanno aiutati. La pulizia può definitivamente migliorare
- Melissa (5/5): Our stay was fine. I wouldn’t book again as the smell really put me off, the cleaning also arrived before checkout time - I really liked the location! Perfect for a weekend. There was a really bad drain smell in the bathroom shower like someone had just done a poo! The moment we walked in we could smell it. Also there were three flights of stairs and no lights apart from a tiny emergency light I’d to put the torch on my phone to get the key from the lockbox!
- Emily (10/5): Would recommend - Great location and check in/out Quite small but good for price
- Abdul-Haseeb (7/5): -
- Zoe (9/5): Lovely stay with my partner for a rave close by, good location - Great location, close to Outernet where we were going, clean + tidy, had everything we needed Was quite loud when people were walking to the other apartments, felt like they were coming down our stairs! And someone rang our doorbell overnight
- Amayas (10/5): Très bel appartement parfaitement situé - L’appartement au dernier étage était magnifique. Très beau, bien aménagé, lumineux et propre. Des instructions pour le chauffage. Parfois il s’éteignait tout seul.
- Kira (5/5): -
- Carol (9/5): - It was lovely and very quiet. The bed was so comfortable I overslept the first morning.
And the flat is just next to the British Museum… as a member I could just quickly pop in in the afternoon.
I’ll be back - if there’s an apartment available and my budget allows it. Loved it all! The only thing, and it’s really minor, is that I’d love a simple coffee machine like a Nespresso.
- matthew (1/5): Use caution - That they gave me a full refund after we complained and didn’t stay at the property as it was terrible. It was horrible - like a box room student accommodation! It was on the ground floor and had a frosted window which looked out on to the busy street. - the window blind would not completely close and there was a hole in the frosted screen - which ment that anyone could look in from the street and it - right at the bed!!! I was shocked when I arrived. Luckily a cleaner was in the building as the key safe was broken so she gave us the key - (but I don’t know what we would of done to return the key - had we ended up staying ) we asked her to phone someone as we wasn’t happy but no one could help - we decided we couldn’t stay there so we left and got a room somewhere else for the night. Only good thing is they refunded us our money back no problem - so that’s a good point
- Lynne (3/5): Great location, not so great accommodation - The location Place was extremely small. TV & 'kitchen' accessed through cupboard doors. Lit by spotlights, no lamps for subdued lighting. Disturbed twice by landlord/property owner wanting to carry out annual inspection
- Jackie (8/5): We had a great time - The property was excellent for our one night stay. Nothing
- Daniel G. (10/5): The location was exceptional, despite the poor Wi-Fi, I would stay here again. - The location was exceptional. The Wi-Fi was dreadful. When I measured the download speed it was literally in KILO bytes per second. Given the fact that the location was exceptional in a major world city with excellent internet infrastructure, we were greatly let down.
- Cristian-Andrei (9/5): Lovely weekend - The apartment was clean, spacious, had warm water and was cozy We didn't have toilet paper when we arrived
- Jennifer (9/5): - Wonderful location
- GIULIA (4/5): Rapporto qualità/prezzo insufficiente - Posizione Veramente piccola, costo altissimo per i servizi. Non c’è luce, funzionano poche prese, tappetini strappati, letto piccolo
- Nina (8/5): - Die Lage war top. Wir hatten das Appartment im 2 Stock. Die Ausstattung war komplett ausreichend.
- Ross (1/5): - Very little This was the poorest experience I've had with a property using booking.com
We originally booked one property next to the gillian Lynne Theatre we were then told 3 days before that the property was unavailable so moved us to a property 45minute walk away we were then told check in at 16:00 which we did we noticed the room hadn't been cleaned but with the theatre starting at 19:00 had no choice but to continue we then got a message saying our room wouldn't be ready till at about 20:00 I replied saying we had already checked in they then asked if we wanted the room cleaned but I didn't really want someone in the room with our belongings they then replied and said that's fine they won't clean it but we can't make a complaint about it no being clean overall a really poor experience all round
- Valerie (3/5): Not comfortable - It was conveniently located The room was tiny.n It wasn't clear on the website how tiny the room would be. It would be very hard for two people to stay in it. Besides the bed, there was only a small table (not located near an electrical outlet, so computer work not possible) and one uncomfortable plastic chair. There was not a bedside lamp, and my request for one was denied.
- Mateusz (9/5): -
- Lucie Piovan (8/5): - The location is great, right behind the British museum, 10mn walking from Covent Garden, with tube stations Tottenham court road or Holborn nearby. We didn't meet any staff but the instructions were clear, we encountered no issues getting our keys. The bed is confortable and the bathroom was correct and clean. It was a great rental for the price and especially the location right behind the British Museum, especially for the price. We were a bit disappointed at how different from the picture the place looked inside, even though it was comfy and got all the necessary things, it was not what we expected. The toilet flush didn't work properly, there were time we couldn't flush right away. We would have appreciated knowing that the location (Flat 2) is a ground floor flat. Hopefully the streets were quiet also at night.
- Grant (6/5): Good location, poor value for money (expensive) given the ground floor level - Easy, clear instructions for entry. Bed comfortable and nice interior to the studio. The studio was ground floor, literally next to the pavement - it wasn’t advertised as ground floor so I didn’t know, else I wouldn’t have booked it. There is a ‘pay as you go’ bicycle point directly outside the window and it was noisy and distracting, especially in the evening.
I asked to check in a bit early (as I often do as I travel for meetings) - usually not a problem but check in time of 4pm is later than most and the host wanted £50 for an earlier check in - so I had to make other arrangements. Poor form especially if the studio could be made ready for 3pm 🤷🏻♂️
- Runida (6/5): - Stedet er nær alt Sent innsjekk kl 16 og tidlig utskjekk kl 10.
Bade lys er sensor. Når man er i dusjen så slår lyset av.
- Lynne (8/5): Very good - Everything you need in a good location. Nice shower and sofa. Plenty of space. I had read some previous reviews and noted that some of the suggestions had been put into place e.g. washing tablets supplied, change of shower curtain, teatowel, which is good to see. There was a minor issue and this was responded to quickly. Basement apartment so very little natural light.
- Richard (6/5): Comfortable enough, would use again, wouldn't be first choice but ok - Great location, good shower Bed quite small but it's a bijou apartment. Front of building, a little noisy
- Dominik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmad (7/5): Good - Great location, the apartment is nice and spacious There seems to be a bit of a smell to the building, especially the top apartments.
I also found a stained towel.
And this might be unnecessary to a lot of people, but there's a really good mirror to check your outfit, the bathroom mirror cuts very high to see your full body.
- Pablo (6/5): a bed for the night, not a destination definitely just a comfortable bed and room for the night - location was great, on the ground floor and quieter than expected bed wasa short, plastic cover on the bead was uncomfortable, shower water pressure was very low
- Jekaterina (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Wifi was a disaster, kept dropping, called them re: password and got several different answers.Tiny rm - They emailed codes to get in, went smoothly keys ok
- Angela (10/5): Amazing place …. - Had everything you needed, close to where we wanted to be. Checking in and out times, would be good if you had an earlier check in without getting extra charges, and the checkout is so early nothing is open on the Sunday. I would book again the those times just don’t work for us sadly.
- Mikayla (8/5): Very good -
- Ray (7/5): Good -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (8/5): Fantastic location, clean and comfortable - Fantastic location and really well set up, clean with nearly everything you could need in a night away. Staff were great when I had to call for help with access (my fault as couldn’t find instruction email) There was a man unpleasant smell on arrival which we got used to while we were there but was noticeable when we left and returned.
- Doundre (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (8/5): Beautiful apartment - Erin was amazing and finally gave us the correct code to relinquish the key to the apartment. India wasn't a bit helpful in being able to get access to the apartment when we were stuck for time and needed to have a shower before our evening out.
- Murat (8/5): Very good - Perfect location I don’t know why…there was a heavy bad smell from bathroom…
- David (10/5): Perfectly located to explore London - Great location. Easy access and entry instructions. Very quiet for a central London apartment. Nothing!
- Ian (9/5): It was perfect apart from the access bit. Otherwise I would have given a 10/10 - It had everything I needed and was clean and tidy I had difficulty getting in, as did my neighbour
- Erdi (4/5): Disappointing - Cold and place it’s not clean bathroom and bath very dirty . So
- Bernadette (10/5): Brilliant location, clean, comfy and well equipped -
- Antoinette (9/5): Excellent - Good location Nothing
- Abigail (6/5): This was perfect for an over night getaway, will definitely rebook - The apartment was self contained and had everything you needed The shower head was too big for the shower and the curtain was not long enough to keep the water in.
There was a couple of bits that’s needed repair.
- Sarah (9/5): Fab - Great location, clean and modern apartment with everything you need.
- Zoedkt108 (8/5): Lovely getaway city break - Very cosy accommodation. We were given the top floor apartment - there were lots of stairs, so great for exercise, but did feel the burn on our legs and feet after walking around London all day!
Apartment was easy to find, and there's plenty of local amenities close by for all your needs whilst staying there, such as shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, tourist attractions, etc.
The bedroom was large. There is a double bed, but not the biggest of double beds - you could definitely fit bigger in that room, but it did us well whilst we were there. Lots of wardrobe space to hang up your clothes if you desire.
Bathroom was suitable and modern. Shower was very welcoming when needing to wash a day full of London out of your hair and skin.
Kitchen was well supplied and had everything you needed in order to cook and prepare any meals in.
Living area was comfy and cosy to chill out in after a busy day and evening out.
Arrangement for collection of the apartment keys and returning them was also very easy.
Definitely suitable for couples, wouldn't recommend if you had a baby with you, or young child due to amount of steep stairs (something we would usually need to consider, as we have a child, but this particular booking was as a child free weekend getaway). If you had a bottom floor apartment, it would suite just fine though. Only improvement I'd suggest is changing the shower curtain, as it had got rather grubby and a bit mouldy at the bottom of it.
- Gail (10/5): Bijou, good location had everything we required - Location was perfect for the British museum, West Minster and the Theater The blind ar the front didn't go down so got flashing light from street
- Nina (9/5): Superb -
- Porter (9/5): Superb - Great location and good value for money Nothing
- Abigail (1/5): trashy and dirty - nothing This is my first time using booking.com and this apartment is the worse. They provided different pictures on the website. The apartment is trash , I couldn't stay there and they didn't want to give me a refund. I paid for a studio apartment but I was given a single room with nothing. The floors are dirty with scratch marks, the room doesn't smell good too.
- Ahmad (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Excellent location and value for money - The location was excellent - a few minutes from Tottenham Court Road tube, and a lot of the sights, restaurants, etc. within easy walking distance. It was very clean and well-equipped, even with a washing machine. The price was very reasonable. I had a few questions beforehand and got extremely quick and helpful answers from Viridian. There are several apartments in the building, and we got the basement one (flat 1) so there wasn't much natural light. We actually enjoyed that, but not everyone might. We would have liked a slightly earlier check-in than 4pm and a slightly later check-out than 10am.
- Michalis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dilek (5/5): My stay could be better, it was okay.. - The location was great. The decoration was elegant. The room was clean. Room was extremely small for a suit! The photos during the booking were quite confusing. I was awaiting a suit, not a 10 m2 small room, with small bed, very small bathroom and extremely small cupboard-kitchen. Apart from that 4 pm Check/In-Time could be earlier, when they ask 10 am Check-Out -Time .
- Danielle (9/5): Great location. Clean and as pictured. Easy access & great communication. Highly recommend. - Great location. Clean and as pictured. Easy access & great communication. Highly recommend.
- Omar (3/5): Poor - Location is perfect. Right infront of the British museum. The bed cover and sheets were dirty and not changed. There was a nail clip and dust on the bed when we arrived
- Ahmad (9/5): Superb -
- Garry (8/5): Very good -
- Veronica (8/5): Very good -
- Jo (6/5): Great location - Poor quality amenities - The location in Soho was great, nearby to supermarkets, affordable / inexpensive restaurants and shops alike.
The space of the apartment was great, it was nice to have a living room and dining area to unwind in, after a long day. There was an issue with the shower drain, it requires some deep cleaning as the stench would fill the apartment if you left the bathroom door open when you left.
The first night the air conditioning wouldn't work, and pump out cold air to the bedroom. It kept showing an error code, after we googled how to get it to work.
I called the service line from the email to seek support, and was informed that this property didn't have an AC. It did have one, but it was faulty. The listing even states AC is included in the amenities, so the man I spoke to was of no help at all.
Eventually, with the aid of an online manual, we were able to get it to somewhat work,
The living room heating was a separate issue.
Although it did state that it would take up to 20 minutes for the heating to begin warming up, we could not figure out where the unit was. The AC/heating display in the living room had another error code stating *clean filter required*.
We were in the apartment during a storm, and as the windows are not sealed against draught, we were essentially trapped in a cold apartment that had a horrible smell from the bathroom drain.
I imagine that these issues, would not have been picked up on by the cleaning staff as they are not there long enough.
- Maja (5/5): The Harry Potter experience - Location was really good. Check in and check out was very easy. Was a ok apartment, it looked nice, clean and well decorated. Loved that we could control the heath ourselves. If you get the nr 1 apartment, it's some very narrow steps to get down there. I struggled alot with getting my suitcase both down and back up again because there wasn't enough room to carry it beside me. My back paid for it. The nr 1 apartment is also a basement apartment which was without any wiew of anything other than a brick wall. That was quite depressing. Also the stairs to the second floor was right above us so we heard every single movement. We really got that Harry Potter experience. Sometimes it sounded like people were coming down the stairs in our apartment. Also with other guests trying to check in, they rang the doorbell to our apartment several times, at all hours of the day. We got woken up quite a few times by people not reading their check in information. The bed was quite small for two people. Having a double duvet is the worst. There were also only 2 rolls of toiletpaper, for two women, for four nights. If either of us had been on our period, we would have ran out on day two. Eventough we made most of our toilet visits while exploring London, we had to ration our paper the last night we stayed to make it last. If you're a light sleeper with bowel issues, good luck.
- Susana (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Home in central London - Location. Easy to get anywhere. Clean, comfortable. The narrow staircase.
- Ruth (4/5): Student room, rather than apartment. - Location was good, and fairly simple to access the property The room was exceptionally small, whist it is sold as a double bed - it was a small queen bed. The bathroom smelt damp, and extractor fan although made a sound did not work - Condensation remained in the bathroom all day - we had to leave the door open to allow the condensation to leave the mirror.
The room is directly outside the pavement and next to the front door, as a result the bell for the main door is within this room - meaning everytime someone attempted to access the property using the door code, I would be woken up when it was incorrect.
The small room had some kitchen utensils, however we could not locate any cutlery, and the kitchen items were so high you couldn’t grab them.
The bathroom was exceptionally small, with a tiny basin - not large enough to wash your face. Hugely disappointing giving the price and description - a premier inn would have been more comfortable, accessible and better value for money.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Alfred (7/5): So-so accommodation - Location in Bloomsbury Below ground level...basement without view. Too many stairs for luggage. We are seniors.
Overpriced.
- Catherine (5/5): cramped, bedding didnt fit properly, hairs in bed. Kitchen appliances questionable -
- Tim (9/5): A spacious, clean, well appointed apartment in Central London. - Spacious, well appointed, under floor heating in bathroom, large kitchen… The lamps hanging from the living room ceiling are daft. I kept hitting my head against them. The sound of people moving about on the level above was notable and irritating.
- Richard (9/5): Perfect for a short break - Well equipped great lighting
- Scott (9/5): By British Museum - Location was great, nice clean, netflix and cnn. Very helpful staff. Was not expecting to be in basement apt w no view and limited light. No coffee maker. No 1 or 2 packets of laundry soap to get one started. Where does one buy a few packets...not a box of 12 or 15 when traveling? I'd happily pay another £ or 2 a day to have it supplied. Likewise for coffeemaker.
- Omar (9/5): Good location and place to stay near touristy areas - Great location just one minute from the British museum, easy access and very supportive staff ! Has everything a tourist would need in an apartment. Bed was a bit small.
- Shai (10/5): Great location. Best value for money - Great location. Right in the middle of everything but yet very quiet. Close to many major attractions. I went to 3 different theatres, all were in a walking distance of 7-13 min.
No contact what so ever with the owner/manager, which was great and ideal for me. Detailed instructions were received by email and were really easy to follow.
The apartment had everything I needed and more (especially the kitchen. I used the toaster, oven and stove - all worked great).
The place was clean, spacy and comfortable (I stayed in a one bedroom apartment).
Really good value for money, and I'm saying this after going over plenty properties before I booked this one.
Will be very glad to stay here again. The apartment was located below street level. This wasn't an issue for me at all but might bother some. I was aware in advance that might be the case.
As I mentioned, everything was really great. If I'm trying to come up with one thing to approve I would recommend providing more shampoo and body wash.
- Suriani (7/5): Good - Great location. In front of the British Museum. Easy access to the shopping district. The room is small, the pictures are different from the actual property. However, the room is clean & the amenities are complete.
- Sonia (6/5): Pleasant - Good location No key given for the front door, no windows, uncomfortable bed, door slamming heard during the night.
- Elena (9/5): Excellent 6 days in the heart of London - Location right next to British Museum, everything is in immaculate condition, comfortable bed. WiFi access details were outdated, I had to communicate with the property to get the right password. Plus the property manager was not even aware that the latest details are not provided.
- Kateřina (10/5): Very nice accommodation, perfect location. -
- Natalia (7/5): Good -
- H. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arpita (9/5): Superb -
- Cuerbo (8/5): Excellent - The property is well maintained and clean. All the essential item were provided. A very good place and perfect for people who wants to explore central London. There is a lot of bicycle parked in front, at night time streatham street could be sketchy, so I advise not to pass by there.
- Julia (2/5): Overpriced. Noisy. Small. Basic. - Regardless of all the other negative issues it was however very clean. It was well appointed. The mattress was comfortable The property was on a very busy street and very noisy. The apartment I was given was ground floor and very noisy next to the street and front door where you continually heard other guests coming in and out. The apartment was too small and claustrophobic. The decor was dated, questionable and needing redecorating. The pillows were cheap and hard. As were the towels provided. The water pressure in the shower was very low.
- Zhekai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leo (8/5): Perfect location, good price - The location is ideal!
The kitchenette contains everything you need to warm up some food.
Loads of storage space I was only able to turn on all the 5 lights at the same time! This was making the room extremely bright.
No bedside lights for reading.
The noise of the main building door when other customers were getting in and out of the building.
The size of the room is very small like a hotel room.
- Salvatore (8/5): Convenient and comfortable. - Great location. Good WiFi connection. A coffee maker would have been useful. The kettle restricted us to using instant coffee!
- Thais (8/5): Very good -
- Kiki (5/5): Passable - Easy to collect keys. Centrally located. Friendly assistance. The property heating didn't work, it was a chasing process to get a late check out sorted and very expensive. We were harassed by cleaning department threatening to kick us out for some reason even though the late check out payment link hadn't even been sent yet.
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Daniella (3/5): Avoid for your safety! - Location They sold us one couple room but it was not big enough place for two. One table, one chair, when u sit down u can’t open front door, u blocked the only exit in this room… when u open wardrobe u can watch tv, because tv is inside wardrobe also. Microwave is located in the below shelf when u use it u have to go on your knees. And you can get burnt easily. Also, toaster inside wardrobe, right on the top shelf, u can not see what u are doing. Small oven provided it doesn’t work, it was switched off by itself. U don’t have kitchen towels to dry your pots. Why they sell one room with kitchen are provider if there is not way to cook. One three steeps wood ladder was left outside bathroom door, and we tipped over every single time as room was not large enough to share with this missing piece of £@&. Alarm went off when we were in there. No one gave the damn about our safety. Front door is a right mess, bikes collapsed and rubbish bags, you have to try to avoid them when u go inside. Broken utensils in the cabinets was left, we reported before they charged us. And when they said damaged payments will be back to your acc in seven days, don’t believe it. It won’t. You have to call and call and call… getting tired of waiting.
- Emma (10/5): My favourite place I’ve stayed in London, I’ll definitely book again! -
- Fabio (7/5): Good -
- Fahad (9/5): remarkable location, great space, good price. - everything checkout time
- Salma (7/5): Good - location late check out ( at 4 pm)
early check-in ( should be like most hotel at 12)
no view from the window
- Sarah (4/5): Location is good, but the pictures are not representative at all. - The location of the property is perfect. The pictures, which are meant to be representative for all apartments, are very different from the apartment that we stayed in. We expected a small apartment with a kitchenette and small living room area. However, when we checked in it was more like a room with a very small bed, small table and one chair, and instead of a kitchenette it was a sink and microwave.
