• David (8/5): Fantastic comfortable room with lovely hosts. Perfectly located for Alexandra Palace. - Lovely hosts, really accommodating. Property is perfectly located for Alexandra Palace especially as accommodation is limited around that area. Breakfast was ordered on arrival and served in room, on time. Loads of room in the road, Easy for parking aswell. This place is an absolute gem. This is absolutely not a criticism as it’s such a great place. But a communal lounge or kitchen / diner would be nice for breakfast and a sit down before you go out / for five mins to wind down when you get back in an evening. However this is such a minor thing, as there is ample room in the bedroom for this and breakfast. I appreciate this is someone’s home, and they really are lovely hosts.

• Jonathan (10/5): This is a terrific B&B with a great host and perfectly positioned for all things Muswell Hill! - A stunning location and a clean, beautifully appointed house, a terrific bed with parking right outside. A few short minutes’ walk into Muswell Hill’s shops and restaurants. The breakfast both mornings was amazing. It’s not a criticism but it’s worth bearing in mind breakfast is in your room not seated downstairs at a table so this just requires some practical logistics spatially!

Wonderful bnb, the host was extremely communicative which made organising everything very easy, very welcoming at check in. The room was beautiful and very comfortable and they brought us a wonderful breakfast to enjoy in the morning. It is a BnB not a hotel so is someone’s home. Worth noting a shared bathroom (very modern and clean so no issues here) and you do need to be quiet after 10pm but this did not cause us any issues. • Debra (10/5): Very nice, clean, comfortable and quiet Bed and Breakfast in a family home. - We stayed at the Muswell Hill B&B for an event at Alexandra Palace, chosen mainly for the location, just a 10 minute (or less) walk away which was ideal. Richard was very welcoming and we had a very comfortable stay. The room is at the top of the house and is quiet, very clean and comfortable. As a B&B (not a hotel) in a family home, the bathroom and toilet are shared which wasn't a problem at all for us. Richard provided us with a lovely breakfast, knocking on our door at the time we'd specified and bringing it into the room. All in all a very nice stay, thank you!

Everything was very clean and tidy. Our host was very friendly and helpful. He would have fulfilled any request within his power. The whole family was really lovely and friendly. • Karen (10/5): Fantastic family run B&B in close proximity to Ally Pally with free street parking. - The property was lovely, we had a room on the top floor which was plenty of space for myself and my son. The shared toilet and bathroom have everything we needed and kept very clean. There was even tea, water and biscuits in the room on arrival and we got to meet the gorgeous golden retriever as well. Breakfast was fantastic, a wide range of continental options which kept us going until dinner! It was also great to find free parking on the street and just a very easy walk to the gig at Ally Pally. We would very happily stay again, thank you to Richard and his family for the lovely stay. It was all very good, the information provided was very good and so there are no negatives.

• Melanie (10/5): Lovely B&B - Lovely B&B in a nice, quiet area, only a short walk to Alexandra Palace. Welcoming hosts, clean room, modern bathroom and a great continental breakfast served in your room, which included a choice of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, toast & jam, cheese, fresh coffee and orange juice. I requested a vegan breakfast and had lovely fresh vegan pastries, there was also a carton of oat milk in a mini fridge in the room for use with the tea and coffee making facilities. Would stay again if in the area.

The owner was a little weird,It was so dated and old fashioned and you had to share a bathroom with other guests. The property was very noisy with creaky floorboards and no tv in the room.Also there was a pointless tiny frigde in the room that you couldnt fit anything and a spare bed left folded up in the corner. We will definitely not be returning.

Richard showed us around and pointed out anything we would need to know during our stay. The house, room and bathroom facilities were all immaculate and the bed was nice and comfy. Breakfast was brought to our room which was nice. The fresh perculated coffee was amazing. We stayed here as went to a gig at Ally Pally which was perfect. Only a literally 10 minute walk. We would happily stay here again when the occasion arises. There was nothing that we didn't like.
• Evžen (10/5): A fantastic, family-friendly accommodation experience - We came to stay overnight after watching the fireworks at Alexandra Palace. Although we only stayed for one night, we very much enjoyed our visit. The owner's family live in the house and are lovely people. It felt like staying with your own distant family. Both the bathroom and our room were spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Having breakfast delivered to our room was the perfect end to a wonderful experience!
• mehrdad (1/5): I will never forget this terrible stay - Dear Sir or Madam, The behavior of the landlord was extremely rude and inappropriate. The bedroom was located on the second floor, while the bathroom and toilet were situated downstairs, approximately twenty steps away, and shared with the landlord. The bed was very old and squeaky, which made it impossible to have a peaceful night’s sleep. There were no other facilities or amenities available in the accommodation. For these reasons, we decided to leave the property after the first night. However, to this date, no portion of the rent has been refunded to us. The facilities are excellent, and the owners have gone to great lengths to ensure guests are fully catered for with a high degree of comfort and that very real 'Home From Home' feeling. The Proprietors are extremely friendly and helpful and the 'continental' breakfast is excellent quality! Furthermore, if you want to explore the City without taking your car, you can leave your car parked in the area and catch Bounds Green Tube Station (approx 1 mile away) There wasn't anything we disliked.

Plenty of tea and coffee and free parking on the road and surrounding area. Reasonable price. Due to being a family home / B&B the bathroom was shared and not very near the room. The room although large lacked a TV. Also due to local restrictions the booking in and out times are limited to arriving between 4pm -9pm. Checkout latest 10am.
• Paul (10/5): Heavenly experience - If you are looking for an escape from the rigours of everyday life and a taste of peace and tranquillity, where you are literally waited on hand and foot ,and you wake up to breakfast in bed and the sound of the birds singing in the garden, on the most comfortable bed, and you look out of the window to watch the squirrels feeding in the trees as the local parakeet joins in then this is the place for you. This was such a wonderful experience for us and left us overwhelmed as we were treated so well by Richard and his wonderful family and their pet dog pearl. This is an Oasis of joy if you are ever visiting London, then this is an experience you need try. Muswell Hill Broadway is a vibrant high street with plenty of places to eat and drink, and Alexandra Park is only a short walk away. • Simon (10/5): Exceptional - A very clean and tastefully decorated room. This location is very quiet but has a nice pub within 10 minutes walk and Alexandra Palace is 10-15 minute walk away. Richard was very kind and the continental breakfast (delivered to my room) was excellent with generous portions of toast and fresh fruit.

• Philippe (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place ! Richard is very welcoming, his family & dog too ! Everything in this BnB is nice : beds, bathrooms, superb breakfast... So much more typical than an international hôtel ir AirBnB room ! The neighbour is calm & pleasant, all commodities are less than 10 minutes of walk away (nice restaurants, shops...) & the closest bus stop is less than 5 minutes away ! The room was a bit small for the 3 of us... but it was part of its charm too !

Family run home with shared bathroom facilities but don’t be put off as both shower /bath and toilet were immaculate. Bed so comfy I didn’t want to get out of it, from our bedroom window saw parrots and a squirrel in the garden eating nuts from the tree. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, toast, pastries, yoghurt and fruit with Tea/coffee. Would recommend this quiet relaxing establishment.

• Ashley (9/5): A Mitchell - Great, friendly, warm welcome from the B&B owners from arrival. A lovely Continental breakfast with multiple choices on offer from cereal to Yoghurt and fresh mix berries/fruit. Beds in the rooms are super comfortable, and rooms are well furnished. B&B is within a short walking distance to Alexander Palace, about 10 minutes. If there is one thing that I would say that could be improved, it would be a small sign outside the front of the B&B to state that it is a B&B as if it's your first visit to the B&B it is very difficult to find on the street that it's located on especially if your arriving before the 4pm check Inn time.
