Guest Reviews
- Samuel (7/5): - Prices are reasonable given Tokyo standards and the staff are extremely nice and helpful Room is very tight, probably too much furniture given the size and geometry of the room.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- MICHELLE (10/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Azryl (10/5): - Staff were awesome, all speak English and Japanese for noobs like me who are trying to practice japanese. Free amenities and towel swaps every 3 days.
The closest station is in the Hibiya line which gives quick access to Ginza, Roponggi, and Akihabara while also having access to the Keiyo Line that leads to Tokyo Station. Location is the best part about this place! Nothing!
- Ying (10/5): - Exquisitely furnished one bedroom apartment with a open plan kitchen living room and excellently designed bathroom and toilet. Additional bed in the living room (sofabed) but plenty of space/room for 3 people. All mod cons - additional toilet roll is hidden away but there. Loved the washing machine and the bathroom. Quite expensive and the location is slightly further away from Ginza than I would have liked (10-15 minutes walk) however near 3 metro/subway stations on different lines. Still, plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby - try the one in the library which was our favourite. However with this you get the peace and quiet.
- Terry (9/5): Convenient and comfortable place to stay. - Clean, modern and well equiped apartment type hotel. At first it seemed to be in a maze of back streets but that proved a misconception as it was near a few metro stations. It even had a (small) balcony A power outlet ( particularly USB) and lamp or light switch near the bed would be good. Bed oversized for its position
- Tatiana (9/5): - Clean room and very friendly stuff, subway and train station nearby The room is small for that price

- Daniel (10/5): -
- Winnie (8/5): Meet our purpose - Location and friendly/helpful staff, reasonable price Stained Bedsheet
- Perez Pena (10/5): -
- Lois NZ (9/5): - Location was great for us. Room is small but there is heaps of storage space. Free coffee downstairs at reception. Staff great and helpful. The bed has one side hard up against the wall.
- Debra (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay because the staff were really nice and helpful and spoke good English! - It had a washer, kitchenette, it was clean, staff was really great and it wasn’t crowded. It was quiet and the neighborhood was clean, uncrowded and nice. Lawsons was nearby too. I also liked that it didn’t have too many units so it never felt crowded. The happy hour on Wednesday was nice and they had other things that we didn’t take advantage of like picnic at Ueno park, you just had to find your own way there. There wasn’t room around the bed to walk and it was a little far from a lot of restaurants although we found good places to eat at nearby. The room was a little tight for 2 people but we made it work.
- Xin Min (9/5): -
- Yuen Wan (9/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Perfect stay in a great location. - The room was far more spacious than the photos showed and was very clean. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Paul (9/5): It was nice and we would stay there again. - The entire staff was very helpful, kind, and easy to communicate in English. Nice washer and dryer and because it rained 50% during our stay, we were able to have our clothes washed and dried making our total Tokyo visit very enjoyable. Hard for Taxis to know their location as I was told by a Taxi Driver that it was not on their system. Uber was ok, GO had minor difficulties.
- Pak Yu (10/5): Wonderful stay! Flawless! - We have changed 7 hotels during our JP trip and this is the best out of the 7 hotels, even better than our pricey onsen hotel. Wonderful and helpful staff. Super clean apartment and comfortable bed! The area is quite but accessible to the places we have planned. It's just wonderful! I will be back! Nothing

- Pak Yu (10/5): -
- Jia Xuan (10/5):
- Che Chia (7/5): -
- Kaoru (10/5): -
- Monique (10/5): An excellent Find! Would definetely stay here again. - The front desk were very friendly and helpful. English was widely spoken and we did not have any issues trying to check in early or when we had enquiries. The hotel was very clean and fully equipped for longer stays. I liked that it's location was a street behind the main road because the rooms were then peaceful and really quiet. It's proximity to Ginza and several train stations made it easy accessible to anywhere we needed to go within Tokyo city Just a minor observation but it would have been lovely to have a coffee machine in the room though I cannot really complain as there was one at the reception if we really wanted one.
- yaron (8/5): -
- Yifat (8/5): - Always love staying in this chain
- Stephanie (10/5): Do this over a hotel - so much better!! - Great value and facilities - new and very clean Nothing
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Functional hotel that provided what I needed for a two-night layover. More information in advance about how to find the hotel. It was hidden on a back street.
- Shane (10/5): -
- Lauren (6/5): - Staff were all very lovely and helpful Bright white lights in rooms, no lamps, beside charging, robes or other basic guest comforts. Small thin towels, charge 500 yen for extra towels, charge 100y for extra coffee pod, charges for everything, felt money grabbing and impersonal compared to other apartments we stayed in Japan. Not good value. Room photos misleading, room was very small with wasted space behind bed. No room to open suitcases except on bed. Felt clinical and not cosy at all. Pillows were good. Staff were all excellent, kind and helpful, no problems there. Considering this cost more than other apartments starting with M that are much bigger and nicer, I couldn't recommend nor stay again.
- Robert (8/5): Excellent stay. I will consider staying here again. - No breakfast. Location is "ok" by Tokyo standards but not amazing. Checkin and checkout were fast and efficient. Happy hour was pleasant. Bed was comfortable. It was good. Not much to complain about. If I was furnishing the room for my own needs, I'd pick different furniture to conceivably make better use of space.

- Donaie (10/5): Great time and I will be back soon! - This was my 2/3 time staying at this hotel and I love it just as much as I did when I first came! The room, location, and staff was amazing and I enjoyed my time like always!
- Kwo Lik (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Friendly staff, very accomodating. Nothing?
- Tilman (10/5): Excellent, clean, functional and welcoming experience, we're glad we picked it. - It was great to have the space of a mini apartment in the middle of Tokyo, within easy reach of Metro stations that connect anywhere. Compared to other hotel rooms there's enough space to breathe. The option to cook (or in oir case: heat up) food and eat at a table in our room was very useful. (Convenience store food is quite good in Japan, we had fun trying many things.) They have free umbrellas to take along for the day and free coffee in the lobby. The staff are super nice and helpful.
- Hanno (10/5): -
- YAN DA (10/5): -
- Dana (10/5): Great location in Ginza - The space is exactly what we needed and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station. Useful having a washing machine and iron. Nothing!
- Hector (10/5): Most bang for your buck, best way to get a comfortable feel for life in Tokyo - Most space you’ll get in a hotel in the area for the price. All the amenities of a standard hotel with luxury of having your own apartment. Would recommend for long stays. Very comfortable and quickly starts to feel like home. All the appliances you need plus cookware, towels, washer/dryer and amenities at front desk. Around the corner from Hibiya line at Hatchōbori station No complaints, staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk will hold luggage if needed and you can extend checkout time by a few hours for 1000 yen after the first hour
- JUNHWAN (10/5): -
- Irene (9/5): -
- Brandon (10/5): Great stay with amazing staff! - Great location, super friendly and attentive staff! Always greeted us and asked if we needed help with anything around the area. Hands down one of the better hotels we ever stayed at! Elevator was a little tight but what can you expect for Japan!
- Mashl (9/5): -
- rshd1337 (10/5): best hotel i stayed in in tokyo - best hotel i stayed in in tokyo

- brunat624 (10/5): Nice place, nice staff - Very good stay. Nice staff, during Easter the kids had a good time looking for hidden eggs! Nice location
- Erinatuz (8/5): -
- Shawn (10/5): - 24 hour live check in. Very close to train station. It was too far from city vibe. My preference but not a knock on the property

- EdwardsFamilySG2025 (10/5): The Place to stay - Best place to stay with great friendly staff and great room which has all the facilities for family travelling with children’s.
- Peggy (9/5): -
- YEN LUN (10/5): - Clean, quiet, friendly staff
- Miji (10/5): -
- Muhammad Shafiq (10/5): Spacious and comfortable - The size!
Love the accommodations! Complete with all the amenities. Yet nicely designed and very comfortable for shot or long stay! Can’t recommend it enough.
Within walking distance of transportation, central district area
- ridzkik2019 (10/5): Amazingly spacious room - Spacious room is very rare in Tokyo, but you get it here at Section L. I stayed at Section L Ginza East and I only have good words for it. It’s a pleasant stay experience, the room is clean and spacious. Well organized. And you have amenities needed for a family vacation: washing machine with dryer, a bathroom with a bathtub and drying facility for your extra clothes washing!, heated floor, etc. The only thing is the location is a bit more walk to the MRT station (well, 10 - 15 minutes walk depending on your walking speed and which stations you choose). But I would really recommend this place to everyone!
Oh another thing, very very good lobby staffs and they all speak English very fluently.

- A_Singh_444 (10/5): Excellent East Ginza Base - The Metro makes it easy to get around Tokyo, so staying in the slightly quieter East Ginza area worked well for us, especially with Hatchobori Station just around the corner. The front desk staff were a pleasure to chat with while we picked up our complimentary morning coffee. Alex was there most mornings and shared helpful insights about the city - great guy.
The room was well equipped, and we appreciated having access to the laundry machine. Overall, it’s a convenient location with lovely staff, clean rooms, and solid amenities. Highly recommended.
- BAPTISTE (10/5): -
- Sara (8/5): - Close to public transport Pillows weren't the most comfortable
- Elena (9/5): -
- Philip (10/5): Great location, wonderful staff, and condo size met expectations - Washer and dryer Living room’s Ceiling light is too low. Hard to get in and out of the bed
- Deb (9/5): Very nice place to stay - The room is nicely appointed. The Wednesday night happy hour was a lovely surprise. The English speaking staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Very quiet at night. The ceiling fixtures are low hanging, so it is very easy to hit your head. It would be nice to have a kimono or pyjamas provided as is customary in most Japanese accomodation.
- Andy (10/5): Perfect apartment for a double to live comfortably in the heart of Tokyo. - Nice apartment that has everything you need. Good location where there are 3 metro stations and JR nearby. Many supermarkets, shops, a nice cafe and library nearby. Staff were friendly and speak English. Free cafe every day. Don’t forget about happy hour on Wednesday. Nothing.

- rara1007 (10/5): Home Away from home - I had nothing negative to say about my stay! Highly recommended. Easy to communicate with the staff. Birthday gift was a surprise & unexpected.
- drake (10/5): - Perfect place to stay near the busy spots in Ginza, but situated in a more homey quiet area which was great. I only booked for a few days, but I think this place would be a great option for longer stays with how many transportation options are close by. The studio apartment was perfect and spacious for me traveling solo and it would be perfect for a couple. Everything was very clean. The front desk is 24 hour and the staff held my luggage for a while after checkout. I would absolutely recommend this place and I hope to come back the next time I’m in Tokyo!
- Jasmine (10/5): - The locations of this hotel is excellent. Restaurants with great food are all around this hotel. There are also small grocery stores that are open 24 hours within 3 minutes of this location. Train stations are with 7 to 10 minutes walk. You truly can’t beat this location’s convenience. We loved going out to the busy tourist areas by day and coming back to quiet Ginza East by night. We are planning another family vacation in Tokyo 3 years from now and hopefully this location is still open so we can come back. The room had plenty of space for the 3 of us. Plus, a full kitchen if we wanted to cook our own meals. The staff was always friendly and spoke English. I can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel!!
- gracemml2025 (10/5): Cosy vibe, Good Location - Section L Ginza East is located near Ginza region and easily accessible via numerous metro stations. Good amenities such as washing machine, cooking appliances, ironing board etc. so definitely recommend if you’re planning on staying here longer.
- DayTrip05540579559 (8/5): Good Value for Money - We went on a family trip to Japan from Hong Kong. This was my first stay at the Section L chain hotel, although my daughter has stayed in their hotels a few times. I found that the hotel is well equipped for a short or medium stay, with laundry machine, kitchen, bathtub, shower, fridge, etc.It is also conveniently located - the nearest subway station is only 2 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our trip and stay very much. We will definitely stay at Section L hotels again during our future trips to Japan.
- Irbaylon (10/5): Amazing - Wonderful location in Ginza, friendly staff, clean room. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting tokyo, especially those looking for an apartment style room.
- AuraMT (10/5): Excellent stay - I spent 5 weeks in Section L Ginza East together with my 12 years old son. We were very pleased with it. The area is very quiet, the hotel very clean, new, our room had everything we needed. Also instructions for all the appliances. The hotel was also quiet, we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbors. The reception staff were very professional, nice and helpful. Special thanks to Emika who made us feel at home away from home, she helped us with practical travel tips, restaurants recommendations and so much more.
- Carrie (6/5): - Hard to find the location. It was in the alley. Checkout in the morning, no one at the front desk. No instructions what to do. Place was clean. Staffs were nice and speak English well.
- Minerva (10/5): - Very nice property
- gdj98 (10/5): Great spot with great staff - Big fan of Section L Ginza East - well priced for an apartment hotel in Tokyo. Lovely English speaking staff - Happy Hour a nice touch. Well appointed apartment - clean and AC worked well (a must in Tokyo in July). 15 minutes walk or a ¥1000 cab ride to Tokyo Station, Narita Express and Shinkansen. Several metro stations are closer. We stayed for a week (which gives you a reduced rate). Totally recommend.
- Alex (10/5): - We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Really nice and clean place and great stuff. The room was very nice and cozy. We are traveling with two kids, so it was great having a small fridge, plate and a washer. There is a subway station 5 mins away and Tokyo station is 10 mins away driving.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Room was exactly as described! Washer/dryer was a great amenity, and the location was in walking distance to many different train lines.
- Mint1688 (10/5): Great Room Layout. Fantastic Staff - Most helpful staff, great room layout, clean, quiet and minutes away from the main Ginza thoroughfare.
