• Benn (10/5): Don't look any further... - First class hotel in an excellent location for visiting London. 5 minutes walk from riverside or Waterloo Station. The whole hotel was sharp, clean, bright and the reception staff and cleaners did a great job. The whole atmosphere was welcoming to tourists and it avoided that corporate feel of other nearby hotels in which we've stayed recently. We'll be back when we return to London. What's there not to like about the Nox?

• Edel (8/5): Great stay in great location - It is in a great vibrant location with lots to see and do on your doorstep. Plenty of cafés etc nearby. The room has great facilities if you want yo keep costs down by self catering . Frudge, hob, toaster, kettle, coffee making, iron hairdryer. Etc I love relaxing over breakfast when im away, I don't think there was a breakfast option. Otherwise everything was brilliant. Staff really helpful.

• Camille (8/5): - Excellent location with plenty of cafes and food establishments on your doorstep, and easy access to Waterloo and Lambeth North tube stations. Despite a quite trendy area, it was pretty well insulated from any street noise. The room was fairly comfortable and the shower was perfect! Room felt a little cramped but I think that might be standard. Towels were a bit scraggly and no bath mat, hand towel or face cloth is provided. Although we didn't get sound from the street, the hallway was a bit noisy from other guests/staff and the fire alarm went off twice in the morning during our stay.

• Chris (9/5): 2 nights in Nox Waterloo - This was a great value hotel, £278 for 2 nights just 5 minutes walk from Waterloo Station. The room was large and you could also cook / it had a microwave. As I was staying near a train/tube station I could hear them from around 0600. But I knew I was staying near a hotel so expecting some noise.

• Carlo (7/5): Clean and very central but avoid the lower ground rooms - Clean, good shower, useful kitchenette Room thermostat automatically reverted back after a while to 24C after setting the temperature lower, making sleeping in a hot room uncomfortable. Lower ground floor meant listening to constant underground trains passing by.

• Rose (9/5): Good value hotel in a great location. - Good location, very near to the Southbank & all that has to offer. We close NOX as we were going to County Hall to see Witness for the Prosecution which was 10 min walk away. Room although small was very well appointed & spotlessly clean. Great value for money. Perhaps a bit more space in the room but hey that’s London.

• Jérémy (7/5): Overall was good, only cleanliness needs to be crucially improved. - The location was superb, and there were many restaurants and bars around which made it pleasant. It felt a bit sketchy walking around at night, but other than that it felt safe, and vibrant especially in the mornings/afterrnoons. Since we booked a room without a window, we knew what we were expecting, though we didn't expect for our room to be besides the service room, for which majority of the noise came from there. The walls were relatively thin which is why we could hear pretty much everything. Also the first night we arrived, we found a seal of a lube bottle, and a few stains on the bed, which was unpleasant and brought us an uncomfortable feeling when sleeping on the bed.

• Nicola (4/5): Great location but needs many improvements, I would not return - The welcome at Reception was good and the member of staff was lovely. The toilet was very dirty, if you sit in the chair you can see it fully. The blind had a very dubious stain. I don’t like cushions and throws as they are rarely washed after each stay. They should be banned from hotels. The light switches at the side of the bed had multiple finger prints. It felt grubby.

Easy access to shops, restaurants and sightseeing. Everything was on a walk distance. The attitude of the receptionist was rude. The mattress of the bed was very soft and uncomfortable. There was unpleasant false fire alarm which ring twice early in the morning.

• Andrea (9/5): Great stay, would definitely book again - Location, quality of fixtures and fittings, easy to check in, friendly and helpful staff We were awoken at 6.30am by someone unlocking a cupboard and rolling something across a floor for about 15 mins on and off which was a shame, because it had been a great night’s sleep!

• Paula (7/5): Con comodidades pero muy pequeño, faltan elementos esenciales - La mini cocinera es muy práctica No tener ni siquiera 2 sillas para sentarnos los dos, ni una mesa o mueble para apoyarnos para poder comer. La ducha para moverme un poco pequeña también. Sé que no todas las habitaciones son así pero la nuestra nos tocó muy pequeña y costaba moverse. Además de un armario donde entraban 3 abrigos y ya.

Nowhere was written that our room is not going to have windows - name of the room was - Studio with a double bed (lower ground floor). We specifically chose this room because it didn’t say we will not have windows. It was cold in the room, and because of the missing window smell was not the best.

• Chantelle (9/5): Great value for money, friendly and helpful staff, quiet and peaceful stay! - The location is excellent, a very short walk to Waterloo train station, and only about 10-15 min walk from the London eye etc. Staff were very friendly, and helpful. The ability to store our luggage on the day of check in and check out was great, we only had a two day one night stay, so it helped maximise our time. Our room was facing the high street and we could see the London eye from our room, but we couldn’t hear a thing from outside, we didn’t hear any other guests either! The bed and pillows were a bit too hard for us, but that’s personal preference.
