• KirstEmm (9/5): Wonderful stay, close enough to hub bub of the city - Shirley has thought of everything in the apartment and it all works. Conveniently close to the train station so transport is real easy to wherever you need to go, even the Blue Mountains One small thing, the extractor fan in the first bathroom is a bit noisy but not a drama as fortunately, like most people, we don't live in the bathroom, its just a momentary inconvenience.

• Yujou (10/5): - Shirley answered our question fast and all of our family love the stay very much! There are many supplies and things to use. If you stay here you definitely don't need to prepare a lot of things, just bring a happy mind!
• Kate (10/5): Perfect for a big family or group to 8pax. - This accommodation was super near to the train! We thought it was quite small base on the pictures but damn it was a big space when we got there. NO REGRETS! And not that far off from the city either. I loved how they gave us 2 sets of keys so that me and my friends had the flexibility to do our own thing and it wasn't a problem getting home on our own. I would suggest to go grocery shopping after you check in and see the kitchen of this place because we bough groceries before checking in, and the host was super nice to have some of the basics prepared in the kitchen such as butter, oil, nuttella spread, even milk. Super sweet! Thank you. They also have towels, shampoos, bath gels and some laundry detergent! The beds were soooo comfy, ohmygahhhh! If anything we loved the beds and blankets. I deffo would stay here again. Perfect for a big family to stay or group of friends. They were 6 of us but I reckon this place could fit 8-9 pax! Thank you so much for lending us your space. Highly recommend! The only thing is the carpet in the middle of the living room needs carpet cleaning. It made some of our skin itchy and some rashes.
• Rebecca (9/5): Overall, I’m glad I stuck with my decision to choose this accommodation. Strathfield is a great area to stay if you are - The location was very convenient, 5mins walk from the apartment to the train station, about 8-10mins to Strathfield Boulevarde where you can find loads of restaurants, Woolies is just inside Strathfield Plaza. Just one station away from Burwood, the new Chinatown. The train lines were convenient too for us to get around without needing a rented car. The beds were comfy, enough for a couple and 3 cousins who required their individual beds. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the condiments that were available to us to cook our meals. Nothing serious enough to make a fuss about.

• Olivia (9/5): Great stay for small groups/families - First of all, the ability to sleep many guests was great. I was staying from Brisbane to see the Taylor Swift concert with 4 other friends and it was a bit difficult finding something that would fit all of us together without having to get separate hotel rooms so when I found Escape to Strathfield, I was overjoyed. I loved how close the property is to the train station, this was SUPER helpful as the public transport can get you anywhere in Sydney so it was great not having to walk too far to get to the station. When looking for somewhere to stay, I did want something a bit closer to the harbour and beach but they did not really feel very far away with the super close and easy train station. There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like, but I know that one of the bedrooms didn’t have proper aircon and just had a little portable air conditioner that had to be filled with ice. Not a huge problem but they said it was loud and didn’t work the best. However the air conditioners in the other rooms were perfect - pretty much silent, and kept the rooms nice and cool just like winter which felt great during our summer stay. Also, although there is enough room to sleep 8 guests, the kitchen is rather small and the two bathrooms would feel a bit crowded (and somewhat did with only 5 of us) just because they are rather small.

The location was perfect, it was clean, comfortable and we’d definitely stay again. - The owner made sure we had clear instructions on how to enter the property as we were arriving late at night. A lovely touch was the owner left us some groceries in fridge which was much appreciated the next morning. The location was really good, two minutes walk to the train and 5 minutes to the shopping plaza and restaurants. We had a little trouble with getting free to air tv but we happily used the Netflix provided and catch up tv.
• Ian (10/5): Great host, great location, clean, tidy and all the comforts of home. - The location was perfect. Out of the way enough to avoid noise. But about 200m from the train station and about 300 from shops and eateries. The host was so easy to deal with. Had everything we needed without having to go to the shops. Complimentary snacks etc. went above and beyond. I wasn't able to stay for longer.

The kitchen was well stocked with extras, sauces, spices, cans of food and breakfast cereals. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc and everything was in good working order. We will be staying again next trip to Sydney. Nothing. It was all great.

I thought it would be more crowded but it was a very comfortable stay for 6-8 people. Includes undercover secure parking. Strathfield is the heart of Korea in Sydney, so our Korean family had a great stay. We would book this apartment again! This is actually an AirBnB, which is not what I wanted when I go to booking.com. They require a cash security deposit that made me uncomfortable although the owner was great.

• Ariel (10/5): Excellent stay, perfect for our needs! - Escape to Strathfield exceeded our expectations! The place was much larger then we expected, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked for our needs, everything very clean, tidy and very comfortable, great heating if visiting in cooler weather, accommodates families with babies/kids, and the location was amazing - so close to public transport, shopping centres, and restaurants/takeaways. We all kept saying how great this place was!! There was a little confusion when reserving the place through Booking.com, but it was all sorted with a couple of phone calls. Our host was very lovely, helpful and accommodating. Would recommend ringing and verbally checking any bookings made through Booking.com though!
