- Sandra (4/5): Not the best - Rooms are big and spacious, great for big groups We noticed a very bad and strong smell of weed as soon as we walked into the lobby. We had to do self check in because the person at the desk was busy on the phone. Parking NOT available, the one across from the hotel is $30 dlls, ugly, dirty and sketchy, they definitely take advantage of people staying overnight. The hotel should at least consider validating the parking ticket. Facilities look like they need maintenance.

The left side of hotel is considered unsafe zone, and that scares a lot. I was asked to park opposite to the hotel (paid parking), and the parking was a nightmare. There was a urine smell in the parking and human poop all around. The hotel is overall good, but they must do something for the parking. I understand that there is no parking in hotel, but guests who are coming can't park in poop area as well, and that too $30 a day, which is too much. Parking should be managed / owned by the hotel even though they charge the customers. Someone else "not maintaining" is not a good idea and there is no liability on the hotel for the same.
- Mari (4/5): If you need a kitchen in downtown LA, I guess stay here. - The room was large. While the room was large it open. It is evident that this hotel was made over from being a creepy hotel. The room did not feel warm or cozy. It felt like a hospital room with the metal counters. The hotel had no hospitality. While I checked in late, a very nice security guard had to help me check in with the iPad. The hotel is on the 7th avenue and it was very loud. I heard all the street noise all throughout the night and morning.

- Deborah (4/5): Sleepless night in comfortable bed! - The beds were comfortable and the reception helpful. Such a noisy area and noisy neighbouring room, slamming doors and chatting with friends loudly in the corridor in the early hours of the morning.

- Bart (8/5): - Nice staff and very central location. The suite was quite large and the kitchen worked well for our needs. Very convenient to LA Metro transit, both buses and subways. You can find overnight parking for $25 at the LAZ garage at 725 Grand, about a 5 minute walk away and across the street from a Whole Foods grocery. The room we booked was a king corner suite on the 6th floor which turned out to be really loud on a Friday night with sirens and loud cars and motorcycles traveling on the busy Broadway and 7th streets. This problem could be remedied by installing double pane windows. Staff moved us to a smaller and quieter room for the second night. This hotel is on the corner of 7th and Broadway. While this is a very central location there's also a significant presence of street characters once you exit the hotel and walk the streets. If you walk east towards Skid Row, the situation gets more severe, but going west it gets better.

- Brumer (3/5): Pick a different place - The room was very spacious and an ideal setup for a family of 4 with a dog No parking nearby so we had to track our luggage through a rough crowd of homeless people multiple times. It didn’t feel safe at all and was highly inconvenient and took so much time. Better to drive a little further away and have the convenience of parking nearby.

- Brown (9/5): Nice, I would stay there again. - I'd like the roominess of the apartment. The bed in the living room was too firm for me. And my roommate who slept in the bedroom did not like the idea that when I took a shower she could hear as if I were in her bedroom. That is because the wall doesn't extend to the ceiling in the bathroom. And it was noisy as all get out although I realized there's nothing they can do about that.

The parking across the street charges $15 for overnight but will charge again if you leave to the store or something. Will also charge you another day if you stay past 6am. So overnight is only until 6am

So many good restaurants in the area. The parking was right across the street. It costed for overnight - $30 There were a lot of homeless people in the area. But this is not the hotel fault, obviously.

- Andrew (10/5): Love this place. Will be back. Have stayed in apartment rooms with 14yo son. - The staff are amazing, from Manager to everyone we met in the lobby or elsewhere. This is our 2nd week-long stay in 12 months. Both types of apartments were great for our needs. It's not my place to educate anyone about staying and hanging in DTLA. We LOVE IT. So many food options. Little Tokyo and neighbouring blocks to the east with breweries https://maps.app.goo.gl/tvG8n6vYVWoB1gkHA , cafes, restaurants https://maps.app.goo.gl/wpNcFPk8pgcxJGao7 . We like walking everywhere, but probably only $10-15 in a cab to head that direction. Very accommodating, friendly, helpful, flexible. The bar downstairs is great for that last soda or other drink you might want. General grocery supplies over the street at CVS make it really easy to use the well appointed facilities in the room. Easy walk to Crypto for game nights. Parking across the street is easy. Just ensure you have cash to enter/exit USD15 to enter, then another $15 to get car out if after 6am heads up for any overseas travelers since banks are only exchanging to USD with their own customers... Money exchange over at 4th btwn Olive and Hill was good to deal with.

I had some issues checking in and getting the correct room but the staff helped resolve them. At the end I didn’t get what I had originally planned but it was close to it.

- Alexis (10/5): - It was a massive place or the price. The shower was lovely, great pressure and body wash. The TVs were great. The bed (we slept in, there was like 3 in this place) was comfy. We had a full kitchen, it was a bit much for the two of us for one night. But for a family, this place is too perfect. The place itself was close to the venue and everything else you might want to do. It is a little noisy. Though so nice inside, it's a block from some sketchy areas. The parking is annoying since it's not on site. But we found a lot that was over night for $25. Pay attention, because I think they charge you everytime you leave and come back.
