- Kai (8/5): Overall is good. - I enjoy the staying, the facilities is complete. Clean and quiet stay. It's still a distance from Tokyo Metro Station - Naka- Okamachi. The staircase are small and may not friendly to elderly people.
- Annemarie (3/5): Sadly not as expected... - It was near to Akihabara and in a quiet neighborhood.
The contact person was very friendly and overly eager to help us :) Sadly the apartment was not like in the pictures/describtion. The rooms were smelly and we found mold in the air conditioning. It was basic clean, but some walls were damaged or dirty. The furniture on the rooftop was broken and unusable.
There was little space to hang or store your own things and clothes (like towels after a shower).
The dishes were basic clean but some glasses were smudgy. Many cleaning products were aviable though.
We contacted the staff, who assured us to investigate the problems, so hopefully the problems will be gone in the future!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -

- Faye (10/5): Great base for tokyo exploration - Nice space, clean, and had everything you could need. The host was very kind and helpful The stairs are difficult to manage if you are less mobile
- Mia (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable bed, and the free netflix is nice. Our wifi suddenly cut off after night 3. No internet on day4
- Maytas (9/5): Value for money and nice space for 4 people - Location is reachable by car and around 500+ meters to Metro. Can walk to Ameyoko Market for dining and shopping. 7-11 is 200 meters away.
Rooftop area is nice in cooling season to sit and enjoy.
Equipment is in good condition.
Great host!! Stairs were quite steep and tiny. You cannot carry luggage up to 2nd and 3rd floors. So needed to open the luggage next to kitchen/dining area.
- Sacha (9/5): Great location to stay in Tokyo - The location, has everything we needed, very clean, quiet area The stairs
- Melissa (9/5): Beautiful apartment in Tokyo. - We were travelling with my boyfriend and two teenage kids it was challenging to find a place with enough space for all of us when looking to stay in Tokyo. I found this location and it was perfect.
Loved having our own rooms and being able to sit up on the rooftop in the morning with coffee or a drink in the evening.
The place was very informative helpful and responsive. Like everyone mentioned the stairs are a lot of stairs after a while. I would stay here again but maybe before and not after climbing Mt Fuji.
The house is showing a bit or wear on the staircase as well. Probably other guests trying to get suitcases up and down.
- Guillaume (9/5): Superb - Great house to accommodate a small family.
- 浩瑋 (9/5): Superb -
- Keaton (9/5): Wonderful three story apartment stay deep in the heart of Tokyo. - Hidden down a back street Tasuki is an insanely spacious three story apartment with roof access, housing tons of beds and everything else needed for a quality stay. Check in was insanely easy and with some help from the host on Google map finding the right location we made it to the apartment. The rooms are big for a thin apartment and space is used efficiently, hence the small and steep staircases. The kitchen and TV room on the top floor were great hang out spaces and once we figured out how to get onto the balcony we appreciated the roof patio. The location was an easy walk to Akihabara and JR trains. The stairs to the roof are an unprotected steep set of rusting metal, somewhat worrying but not much to do about. And the location is indeed somewhat residential, the walk to the main restaurant street is somewhat long.
- Naveinkumar (9/5): really a worthy place in Tokyo - cool place to stay. space
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Beau (7/5): Living with stairs are too challenging - Bathroom facilities and the dining area on the 1st floor. The house is ok but living with steep stairs are too much...
Bathroom, washing machine and kitchen are located in the first floor.
But toilet is on the 2nd floor!
So even we are trying very much to stay on the 1st floor... we still need to climb up stairs from time to time.
And we just skip to use the living room on the 3rd floor totally, just to avoid stairs...
Besides, the beds are very poor, I decided to sleep with japanese futon on the floor to survive (>_<)
- Glenn (8/5): Very good - Fairly close proximity to Ochimachi station makes access to Tokyo metro and Yamanote lines easy. Many convenience stores neatby to Taduki provides groceries and necessities.
Interior space, though tight, is good for larger groups though the very steep stairs can be treacherous if you are no.t careful. Probably the things whuch are not good; but, easily correctable is that the pillows and comforters gave no protective abd changeable sheet or covers on them. It is lesd than comforting to know many previous guests were using and under the very same comforters and pilliws before us.....to say the least.
We've stayed in other places where a partial sheet covering the bottom half of the comforters which was good as it was ckear they were washable and clean.
The Owner should provide something similar do guesrs know their bed linens are fresh and clean.
Also, the owners need to replace the electric kettle as it often an electrical burning smell coming if it was heated multiple times in the morning. Replace it and tge problem is resolved!
- Elizabeth (10/5): If was great. - I liked the fact that it had 2 separate bedrooms. It allowed us for a chance to get away from each other when we needed it and get some privacy. The one thing is the location can be hard to find the first time getting to it.
- Glenn (8/5): Very good - Nice, convenient location, very good amount of space particularly for Japan accommidations and unique vertical organization of spaces. The Host, Hiro, is responsive, understanding and helpful and was always ready to assist with any issues. The unique vertical organization if spaces as a result, also a somewhat inconvenient set of small issues....but all quite livable. The steep and tight stairs simetimes is hard to maneuver for us older types and one needs to be careful to hold on safely to the handrails, especially when trying to move luggage around. There is a lot of up and down stair climbing on these steep stairs as a result of locations of facilities....again, not such a big issue; but, it is something to understand. It is worth it for this unique little townhouse all to yourselves!
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
