- Ammy (4/5): - My experience was not so great. They were kind enough to let us check in 15 minutes before check in time so we can leave our bags and get to our first attraction. My first impression was that the room was very small. But since we were just dropping off our stuff, we were not there very long and I didnât pay too much mind to it. The room was very cold when we arrived so I lowered the AC a little bit before walking out. When we came back, the room smelled really bad. Like sweatiness/locker room. We were so exhausted that we just wanted to shower and get in bed to go to sleep. Unfortunately, the pillows smelled like someoneâs sweat. The pillows smelled like they had not been washed/cleaned. Very disappointing and disgusting. The hotel removed our parking fee in the morning to make it right. The other thing that was disappointing was that although we placed the do not disturb door hanger outside our door, housekeeping still came and knocked. I donât understand why if the door hanger was there.

- Holly Alison (10/5): - I stayed here for 8 days and overall I would give Tru by Hilton 5 stars. The room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was provided daily and was ample and had just enough variety with the eggs and sausage to keep things interesting. Best of all, it was available till 10 am! The gym is excellent. The only issue I had was the in-house bar was only open 1 day, despite signs everywhere stating it was open daily. And when I asked the front desk about it, they couldn't even give an answer as to why it was not open.

- Miguel (6/5): - When I booked, I did so under the impression that if it was a part of the Hilton hotel chain, it would live up to the name Hilton. Well, I wasnât totally wrong, but I wasnât totally right either. From the moment I entered to the moment I departed, most of the staff was friendly, courteous, and very willing to assist in any way necessary. The room service attendants as well. Some of the cleaning crew, even when greeted in several languages, were downright rude! A simple acknowledgment of a âgood morningâ or other greeting never existed!!! The room I stayed in was very uncomfortable! No closets, no drawers, nowhere to place ones clothes other than some hooks on the wall which gave the impression of living in a dump. I had to bear this for 5 days, and the accumulation of theme park sweaty clothing hanging from a hook on the wall did not make for a very accommodating room, not to say a very well scented one either. Oh, no coffee maker either. Having a cup of (bad) coffee every morning required a trip from the 6th floor to the lobby and back!!! Breakfast, even when itâs impolite to look a gift horse in the mouth, could have been more in line with Hiltonâs reputation. I didnât expect luxury, but I did expect something more savory. My stay at Tru was not all that it could have been if the chain had had better conditions to accommodate their guests. I donât think Iâll ever stay here again!

Wasn't happy about it, but i took it.You have to grab a ticket when ebetering the property each.time before entering through the gate and even have to pay $25 for your car to be there. The beds were uncomfortable . The ac didn't feel like it even worked even though it was running. No fan in the bathroom. Just an overall disappointment. Will not go back

I loved that the rooms were immaculate and carpet free, so fresh and clean with no âmystery rugs.â The breakfast spread was plentiful and satisfying, a perfect way to start the day. What really set this place apart was the lively atmosphere in the evenings. The nightlife here was so much fun, guests gathering around for foosball, pool, and board games, all while enjoying the vibrant ambiance. The on-site bar was a great touch too, complete with a bartender who knew how to mix up fantastic drinks. Location wise, you couldnât ask for better. Itâs just a quick, affordable Uber ride to Universal Studios, which made getting around super easy. Out of all my visits to Florida, this was hands down one of the best stays Iâve ever had. Between the clean rooms, fun social vibe, and unbeatable convenience, I canât recommend this hotel enough!

He was okay but staff didn't handle it well and no management was available. Other than to offer us a different room he didn't much of even an apology. Checking out to find no management available the next day as well but the staff at checkout handled the situation with better professionalism and contacted the manager. Otherwise we had no issues and had a good stay.
- Nicole (8/5): - This hotel was nice. It was clean and very close to the parks. It was a 10 minute drive to Disney Springs and City Walk. Overall not bad and it was very family friendly. The lobby was huge and it had a pool table, a foos table, and a bar right next to it. The only downside to this hotel was parking. Parking is $20 a day, so please keep that in mind.

- Heather (8/5): - Stay was only for a day. Hotel was nice and clean. But for me it was the door to enter the room was heavy and hard to open, same for the bathroom, no exhaust in the bathroom, no extra blanket, and we had sugar ants in out bathroom.

- Brian (8/5): - The room was nice and the facility was nice as well. The only issue I had was that the shower smelled a little off like a sewer but if thatâs fixed, it would be a complete 5 star rating.

- Richard (6/5): Needs a bit of update - The hotel is nice but they need to update their AC units. They had to switch our first room because the AC unit had a loud high pitch noise coming out of it. The room we got moved to had an AC unit that rattled loudly whenever it was on. Otherwise the hotel itself is nice and staff was nice.

- Grady (6/5): Ripped Off - When I booked this stay, I did not see anything about twenty dollars a night for parking. In my opinion, when I choose to stay at your property, you should not charge me to park.
- Dana (6/5): Great service, but room needed freshener. - My room had a mildew smell. I took a wash cloth and put the very nice lemon soap on it. Placed it on the ac unit and it freshened it up a bit. The TV remote didnât work and the front desk replaced it right away, which was nice. Great service all around!

- Lutria (2/5): - Room was horrible, first room had a busted television screen. So we changed rooms, bathroom was out dated and wasnât that clean. Then we were locked out our room and the receptionist had an attitude because we came to the 6th floor twice and the door still wouldnât open. Finally, security came as we were going down for the 3rd time. Iâll never stay here again.
