The motel was next to some really neat restaurants that I would have never seen if we didn't stay there. I enjoyed the peace of mind. We rode in on a bike, my main concern was safety. We were able to park our bike where we had a peace of mind. the spot was so cute and I really recommend it to my family who have their Hollywood universal trip coming up soon. The shower curtain was not heavy enough to hold back the water from coming out on to the floor. we had to lay a towel down to catch the water. I would have just changed the shower curtain. other than that everything else was really enjoyable.

He let us change rooms without charging more. The new room had a larger bed and a fold out bed. The room had a large fridge, a table, shampoo and soap, Wifi, and air conditioning. Great location close to Universal Studios. I just walked to the park. Also, free on-site parking. It was also quiet. The fold out bed didn't have a sheet on the mattress and the mattress didn't look clean. the bathroom had a strange sliding door with a gap and didn't lock. I couldn't figure out how to turn the light off in the bathroom, seemed like it auto turned off but I couldn't turn it off. Shower could have been warmer.

• Henrietta (7/5): Decent stay for one night - It was good for a quick place to sleep for the night . Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was when taking a shower the shower splashes on the floor. The flooring how it was wood and so when it was raining it felt like you were going to slip .

• Marie (2/5): Will not stay here again. - Small parking lot. Pillows cover 2 out of 3 and stains. Had to use the towels to cover them. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was dirt on the walls. The shower looks dirty. They used a farm style door for the restroom door. Noticed mole in the restroom deck plate near the shower

• Zamora (5/5): decent for the price - staff was very accommodating and the location to universal was very close no door on restroom, bedding was dirty on arrival with some previous stains and walls are paper thin
• Eva (9/5): Everything was great, will definitely come back next time! :) - I've been at this accommodation several times before bc I felt so comfortable there, but this time my expectations have been exceeded. I felt so cared for and welcomed, almost as if this was my second home. The owners really put a lot of effort into making me feel comfortable, I was really touched. The location is great, as you can reach many places and shopping facilities within a few minutes by car or even by foot. My room, the sheets and towels were clean, the fridge and microwave were super convenient, my bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Non-smoking room, free WiFi, free parking, room service, toiletries, air conditioning and iron; I really had everything I needed and even as a solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable there. Once again, thank you so much, I'm already looking forward to my next stay! :) Everything was fine.

• Mae (2/5): You get what you pay for. So if you pay for cheap, you will definitely get cheap. - I picked this property based on location and price. But as the saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” My son and I were only going to be there two hours in the morning and night minus the sleeping time. So it didn’t make sense to pay several hundred of dollars for a bed and shower use. Logic makes sense at the time, however, I would pay more now to have better service. For starters, I tried the property three times to ask if I could check in early. The person who answered the phone was Indian and spoke poor English. It was difficult to communicate and understand each other. All he said was, “He would take care of me.” He never asked for my name and confirmation number, so I had no guarantee “he would take care of me”. The property itself is run down and poorly maintained both inside and out. It has no style, flat pillows, thin sheets, random complementary bathroom products, two TV controllers that did exact same thing, no complementary water and/or breakfast, couldn’t connect to the WiFi, and finally the water leaked out of the shower and flooded the floor.

Free parking and close location to universal studios. The rooms did not seem clean. I was changed to another room because the toilet was disgusting. The other room bathroom floor was dirty and found hairs on the bed and walls. Not sure if it was machines or the plumbing but it can get really noisy.

• Charmaine (8/5): We enjoyed our stay here and very short bus ride to Universal Studios. - I was pleased with the room and the excellent location close to Universal Studios. The room was freshly painted, had microwave and fridge and comfortable bed. The only thing extra I would have liked is tea and coffee facilities. We arrived 2 hours early and were greeted by a very friendly man and let straight into our room which was wonderful for two travel weary customers. We were over the rosd from 7 eleven and several restaurants and cafes nearby. Even though inexpensive accommodation it met all our requirements and we were happy with our stay there. Tea and coffee maker. We were just over the road from 7 eleven where we could get food and tea and coffee.

I was treated so nicely, politely and accommodatingly that I felt really comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is great as you can walk to many places and there are lots of stores and places to eat or buy groceries nearby. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I found it pleasingly quiet. There were toiletries, the shower was good and the small fridge and microwave were super convenient. Even my special requests were fulfilled and I felt safe there, also as a solo traveler. Thank you so much for this, I'll definitely come back! :) Everything was fine.

The towels in the bathroom looked old and had some stains, they probably need to be replace, also some of the walls need to be wiped clean.

Overall the place got the job done and was huge value for the price paid, not expecting there to be great views, facilities, or spotless rooms.

• Mike (7/5): Decent, inexpensive motel - Close to universal studios. About a 10$ Uber ride one way. Small fridge in the room. No microwave. Water gets HOT! The property manager was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned and smelled fresh. The man cleaning the rooms in the morning we left was kind and looked like he was working hard. We asked the manager if he had a microwave to heat food up and he let us use his in the office. If you want a really nice hotel next to Universal Studios with a shuttle to the park and pool, this ain’t the spot. But if you want to stay 2 nights for about 300$… it’s decent for a couple. I wouldn’t bring kids here. There’s a cool dive bar next door. AC gets room cold. No microwave in the room. Flat pillows and thin blankets only. No comforter. No pool. It’s Ventura blvd. so some homeless seem to wander into the property since there is no security guard or gate. But the property manager did a great job telling them to leave.

• Chris (8/5): Friendly, great location, room is not clean - We paid about half the price for the area, and last minute. We're very thankful to have the place to stay at all and especially so close to things we love. The staff was very friendly. The room was not clean. I can't say it more positively unfortunately. The floor was sticky, the room smelled like urine, the refrigerator had something on it like oil and was filled with ants. It is not possible the room was cleaned to any standard like hotels are cleaned. We pointed this out to the owner, who was very friendly, but he talked over our criticism and asked if we wanted to change rooms, after denying these things were unclean. We didn't foresee someone who finds these issues invisible doing better with another room. We went to Walgreens and cleaned the room ourselves for a lot less than the money we saved staying here. But I know most people just would find this unacceptable. I think the owner needs to learn to listen. We saw him badgering his staff who were trying to clean another room. Listen to others. You are not good at this. You need to listen learn and speak less. For customers, if you're willing to get a great location and great price but do the cleaning yourself to save money, this is a good choice. Set aside time and come in with a cleaning plan and you'll be fine. Also worth knowing the room has no coffee maker or way to get ice.

It's free and you can park right in front of your room. No complaints. I'll book here whenever needed.

The interior of the room was in good condition, everything worked and looked reasonably new for a budget-friendly hotel. Cleanliness was overall dismal. There was hair in the towels and sheet. The shower had an old bar of soap stuck in the corner. The fridge had a previous guest's items. There was a sticky area on the floor. As is, I give 5/10. With a more careful clean after the previous guest, it could easily be an 8/10 hotel. As a note, light sleepers who don't want to use earplugs should request a room away from the road.
