This is a spacious apartment. The slight smell coming from the bathroom, the lack of bright light and the noise from the road.

• Herbert (10/5): Very pleasant, looking forward to visiting others spots of Istanbul or Turkey - Great location to visit center Istanbul. Well equipped clean kitchen, all clean. Clean spacious rooms and furnature. The host will make all reservations for you, free of visible add-on charges, and if timewise possible with best seats possible. no pressure to reserve more than desired either. Seeing slight difficulty with too many stairs we were moved to first floor instead of 2nd on their initiative. nothing really - sometimes voice translation has to occur to cope with understanding english, but no big harm.

• Faryal (8/5): Home away from 🏡 - The location was great - close to major tourist attractions with a lot of eateries in the surrounding area. Also a superstore was less than 2min walk away, across the road was a bakery with fresh selection of breads and biscuits all day long. All in all, a very well maintained place. Almost felt like home away from home. There was staff on-site for 24hrs which felt safe. Berkant, the host was great - friendly and helpful - always! N/A

• Manon (8/5): Vriendelijk personeel, mooie locatie - De locatie is top en het appartement is ruim, geen hele drukke straat maar toch op loopafstand van o.a Blauwe Moskee en Hagia Sofia. Om de hoek liggen meerdere restaurants waarbij we bij Kumkapi Tiryaki het lekkerst hebben gegeten. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, één sprak goed Engels en heeft ons goed (ook via Whatsapp) geholpen. Ook met transfer van en naar vliegveld voor €50 enkele rit. Beide slaapkamers waren prima inclusief kledingkasten met hangers, kluis en zelfs een strijkplank/strijkijzer. De matrassen waren erg hard en de douchecabine kon een goede schrobbeurt / nieuwe kitnaden gebruiken. De keuken hebben we niet gebruikt. De dakramen zijn provisorisch afgeplakt om wat daglicht buiten te houden, dit zou anders kunnen bijv met een electrisch scherm of betere folie.

В целом если вы хотите остановиться в этой части города - это отличный вариант по соотношению цена/качество. Было немного шумно с улицы. Было бы здорово, если бы были базовые вещи в небольшом объеме: соль, масло, порошок, потому что купить в маленьком объеме на непродолжительную поездку в магазине нельзя. Отель хороший, но немного уставший: мебель, ремонт, постельные принадлежности. Во время нашего отсутствия заходили в номер и осуществляли работы, что мы узнавали уже по приходу (о таких вещах лучше предупреждать постояльцев). Также у нас была сломана защелка двери и не был скинут пароль от сейфа, пришлось носить с собой вещи несколько дней, пока его не обнулили.

• Mariia (10/5): Welcoming and charning hotel, great staff and central location - Perfect location as the hotel is really close to such places like Hagia Sofia so you can reach it on foot. Second, you have everything what you need around like many nice cafes and restaurants, shops, bakeries, pharmacies. The rooms are spacious and nice. Very friendly staff. The guys at the reception are always eager to help and at the same time are not intrusive (a huge plus also). Before our check in and flight to Istanbul we were contacted by the staff member Berkant and offered an airport transfer upon arrival. We accepted the offer as the price was good. The transfer was immediately arranged and went smooth so we didn't have to care about at all. Also, during the stay I needed one item to be ordered, delivered to the hotel urgently and Berkant helped us with this special request as well! Very quick and efficient excellent service! Thanks, we appreciate it a lot! So, we definitely recommend the hotel. Nothing

• Rima (9/5): - The house was beautiful and the location was very nice. The apartment was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures, and it had everything we needed, including a washing machine. There are restaurants nearby, and the best part was the bakery right across the house — the pastries were delicious. Thank you to the staff, they were very kind and helpful. The only thing to note is that there is a long staircase to reach the first floor and there is no elevator, but it was not a problem for me. There was no bedside lamp next to the bed.

Personal muy amable y servicial durante las 24 horas del día en la recepción. Apartamento grande y con buena calefacción (viajamos en Enero). Velocidad de Internet suficiente. La televisión no es una Smart TV y no permite ver canales españoles.

• Georgia (9/5): - We had a fantastic stay at The Nomad Inn Old City. The two bedroom room was huge in size and very comfortable. Only a ~15 minute walk from a lot of the major tourist spots you'd want to visit in Istanbul (grand bazaar, blue mosque, hagia sofia) and close to a lot of places to eat locally. The staff were exceptional, very kind and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Istanbul.

• Gabriele (10/5): Esperienza meravigliosa - Abbiamo prenotato per questa struttura la sera prima della partenza e, appena arrivati, ci siamo resi conto di aver fatto la scelta giusta. L'appartamento è situato a poche centinaia di metri da Sultanamhet, e da lì è stato facilissimo muoverci per la nostra vacanza. L'accoglienza è stata calorosa e al desk le informazioni sono state fornite gentilmente in un facile inglese. Dentro è molto pulito, spazioso, e l'appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort: la stanza matrimoniale ha addirittura un tavolo con ferro da stiro! La cucina ha le vecchie piastre elettriche funzionali e pratiche, il forno a microonde, la lavatrice e tutti gli utensili necessari per cucinare e consumare i pasti. Sono poi disponibili nel bagno saponi, phon, asciugamani e pantofole: non mancava nulla. Siamo stati davvero piacevolmente sorpresi dalla gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura soprattutto per famiglie con 1/2 figli. Grazie ancora! Nulla

• gvantsa (10/5): I'm happy that we chose this hotel to stay - 1. The manager and all their employees are very helpful and nice. They're ready to answer any questions or give recommendations 2.They also have a comfortable airport transport service with good cars. The drivers practically acted as guides when they were driving through the city. When we were going to the airport because of a traffic jam, the driver even paid for a ferry on his own initiative with his money to get us there on time, which we are very grateful for.

• Eva (8/5): Acogedor - Es un apartamento grande, cómodo y bonito, las ventanas tienen buen aislamiento, el aire acondicionado muy bien, el personal muy profesional, agradable y con ganas de ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesitamos. Está muy cerca de una estación de tren que comunica con todos los transportes, los precios del barrio son muy baratos. Delante del hotel hay una panadería y un lokanta muy baratos con excelente calidad y a unos pocos metros una calle con restaurantes especializados en pescado que cocinan muy bien. Está muy cerca de la pequeña Santa Sofia. En la ducha había acumulación de hongos en las esquinas y bajo la mampara, en general estaba limpio, pero no limpio a fondo. Algunos dias no vinieron a recoger la basura al apartamento. El barrio es un poco caótico y ruidoso, las aceras son estrechas y la calle donde esta ubicado es bulliciosa con mucho tráfico, para ir a santa sofia hay que subir una cuesta muy empinada o bien tomar un rodeo para subir mas suavemente si se quiere ir caminando. El edificio no dispone de ascensor aunque solo tiene dos plantas.
• Aysha (8/5): Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience. - The apartment is simple yet quite spacious and not too far from the Blue Mosque. The staff and caretaker were friendly and always willing to help. There are also plenty of nearby shops and eateries, making it easy to find food. It seemed like there was an issue with the boiler which meant cold showers sometimes.

L'alloggio era molto spazioso e comodo ed il personale gentilissimo che è riuscito ad annullare qualche défaillance che c'è stata durante il nostro soggiorno. Nell'appartamento prenotato (all'ultimo piano), a causa di una fortissima pioggia, abbiamo avuto infiltrazioni d'acqua. Non appena è stato possibile ci hanno spostato al piano inferiore in un appartamento identico ma più luminoso. Inoltre per un guasto alla rete idrica la struttura, come tutto il quartiere, sono rimasti senz'acqua per diverse ore.

Spécial remerciements à Berkant qui nous a aidé lors de notre séjour. Le logement est idéal pour 4/5 personnes. La cuisine pourrait être plus adaptée afin de faire les repas. Le logement est calme malgré la rue très passante en voiture. La literie est bonne. Nous y retournerons lors d’un prochain séjour ! Les oreillers pourraient être mieux!

The hosts were friendly and honest about the places that we can visit and those that can be too expensive or not that good. The sound from the street can be too loud sometimes, but this is more traffic-related than property-related. Besides this, everything else was very good.

• Monique (10/5): Peaceful and spacious - This hotel was spacious and stylish in a warm but minimalist way - timber and natural fabrics. It's in a cool location with eating places really close. Great people-watching from the windows but perfectly private. The staff were wonderful. It's run by a family and they were all friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be staying here again when we come back to Istanbul. The iron didn't work - but if I'd asked they would have got a replacement.

We'd stay there again. - We had the two bedroom large apartment, excellent location - safe and easy walking distance to tourist attractions as well as amenities (no big hills), friendly and helpful 24h staff who went above and beyond, even carried our bags up all the stairs. Very clean, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. Reception and hotel common areas are lovely. Hotel is a beautiful and historic building, newly renovated/in the process, with improvements daily. I'm excited to someday see how the new spaces evolve. On arrival we could smell cigarette smoke even though the hotel is non-smoking. It was gone after a couple days. Skylight in one bedroom was covered over so it was dark even during the day, hopefully it is fixed now. Furnishings were minimal, it could've used a bedside table or shelf with a reading lamp, perhaps a rug in the living room to make it more cozy and inviting. There was some sound from the street and other rooms but not loud or late enough to bother us or keep us from sleeping.

• Pavel (1/5): Dirty, unsafe and blackmail from the owner as a bonus - There is simply nothing to like. It's dirty and unsafe place. We have booked the apartment for 4 people for family trip. Once we have entered apartment we smelled strong smell of dirty sheets and towels. After that we have noticed that the place wasn't cleaned up like forever. Everything was literally broken there. Starting from the entrance door - there was a huge crack / whole in it, first time I see this. Also the door itself is barily closes. The floor is full of dust and trash. Furniture is broken and dirty. Lights are not working almost in all places. Sleeping there is a catastrofy - these are most uncomfortable beds I have ever used before and I am travelling a lot! And if this is not enough - there is a bonus - we slept 1 night there just because it was very late to leave and early in the morning we went to the reception to say about all of the issues. Two guys in the reception (of course if two guys with cigarets drinking coffee at the old table you can call a reception) told as that all of mentiond issues are not issues at all including the damage we hightlighted, so we just left without any solution. I have also submitted everything with photos to booking customer service. I suppose they contacted the owner, because owner left me the message after that simply trying to blackmail me :) Told that if they will get any penalty for that - they will not refund me anything. The area around is also quite an "experience" by the way, but it's still feeling much better then inside this amazing apartments) Terrible experience. Also no help from the customer service so far, just got 60 euros as a jest :)

This is the Barkley that supplies all the Simit in Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar area so you get every half an hour burning hot fresh simit and other traditional delights. Very nice location! Very polite people very helpful and very genuine people. It is at the heart of the touristic local area combining both the touristic vibes but all the local places are there for wholesale etc.
• DAN MUGUR (10/5): Impresionant, relaxant , confortabil. - Am avut parte de un apartament confortabil, mare , curat , luminat , dotat cu tot ceea ce aveam nevoie ( cel de 60 mp cu 1 dormitor). Zilnic aveam prosoape curate, persoana de la curățenie intra în fiecare dimineață. Recepția deschisă non stop , foarte primitoare , foarte interesant decorată cu obiecte de artă , iar proprietarii ne au întâmpinat de fiecare dată cu zâmbet larg, cu ospitalitate, săritori să ne ofere ceai , cafea, ponturi despre ce putem vizita și mânca în împrejurimi .

• Arthur (8/5): Great with some caveats. - The location is great overall - situated very close to the city center. The staff was really helpful and caring. The apartment was spacious and clean. Cafes around were very authentic and tasty. Great! The location is great but the street was a bit dirty. The apartment itself was clean but felt used. The bathroom was also clean but very much used.

Султанахмет в пешей доступности. уютная атмосфера старого города. номер огромен. две большие спальни. огромная гостиная. большой коридор. высоченные потолки. просторная ванная. там вообще нет ничего маленького. рабочая стиральная машина. есть сушка и утюг. неплохо оборудованная кухня. красивое старое здание с мраморным фасадом. заботливый персонал. не очень работала вентиляция. иногда заканчивалась туалетная бумага. приходилось просить. окна у пола и вида из них нет.
• Carole (7/5): Appartement bien localisé et grand mais qui manque de luminosité. - La localisation prêt des points d’intérêt, la proximité d’un petit restaurant typique délicieux avec bon rapport qualité prix, proximité de mini supermarché. La literie est super confortable et les serviettes de douche douces. Le lave linge et séchoir sont très appréciés. Les employés sont très avenants et intentionnés. La douche a vraiment besoin d’une cure de restauration, elle est très peu invitante. L’appartement est très sombre car les fenêtres sont localisés dans le bas de murs en briques (appartement 4). Quelques lumières supplémentaires pourraient sûrement aider. Équipement pour la cuisine minimaliste, un seul chaudron.

• Jenny (8/5): Nous sommes contents - Le personnel est très gentil, serviable et disponible. Nous avons pu changer d’appartement car la chambre 1 est trop bruyante. L’appartement est très beau, confortable, spacieux et bien situé. Les navettes pour les aéroports pas cher Rue très bruyante la nuit. Les robinets ont beaucoup de tartre, et il y avait des cheveux dans l’évier de la précédente cliente. L’emplacement sur Google Maps n’est pas exacte, l’hôtel se trouve juste à côté de l’emplacement indiqué.

• Catherine (9/5): Brilliant location and friendly staff - Great value hotel situated in the bustling Fatih area of Istanbul. Lovely helpful staff and felt very secure. Apartment was very spacious with living and kitchen area and separate bedroom. Very close to Grand Bazar and Blue Mosque as well as being close to transport to get to other parts of the city. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. It is not properly named/ located on Google maps so a bit tricky for taxi drivers to find (you have to follow the booking.com address/ directions).

• Bruwer (9/5): A good stay that exceeded expectations.. - A warm welcome and every effort was made to ensure a comfortable stay. Location: Exceptional. Facilities:Very roomy and comfortable. Service: Outstanding. The staff go above and beyond. Additional: The location allows easy access to all the sites, either by walking distance or the tram. The tram service is located very close to the Nomad and this gives one an easy opportunity to get to the ferry and enjoy other day trips. No complaints. All was good.

Clean and quiet because the nightlife is further away, but very close to Istanbul's most important attractions. Excellent service! Very helpful and effortlessly friendly staff. Berkant is an expert on the city's topography. He will recommend places you don't know about and tailor the route to your needs and abilities. If I return to Istanbul, I will definitely come back to Nomad Inn. All ok.
