The room was modern and comfortable on a corner with windows and a view on 2 sides which was lovely. We left a phone in the Taxi and the Hotel found the Taxi and had the phone delivered to us at the airport which was beyond expectation. Easy walk to Hongqiao Rail.

chuang (2/5): - Registration cannot find my reservation under Expedia. Junior staff has no clue on what she does. Manager assisted and she only found 1 room booked. I have to spend 35 mins for a check in. For a 5 star priced hotel? No coffee after 5:30pm at lobby and service staff not aware. toliet bath tiles can see stain and moldy, Cleaning staff leave rubbish on the floor. Sent for laundry, waited 3 days. The only consolation is the conceige, Jack Liu who was the most helpful. And the GM. other than that, can forget about this hotel, is for the locals to patronize.

However the backend communication between different staff department needs a thorough overhaul. My family of six were registered for daily breakfast when we checked in. The front desk even confirmed the total charges before charging my card. However this was not communicated to the restaurant staff. We were stopped at the restaurant the next morning when we turned up for breakfast, with the restaurant staff telling us that there was no indication that our room numbers were registered for breakfast. We were even told to settle this with the front desk by ourselves. My wife went to the front desk personally to confirm again and was told that we were, indeed, registered for breakfast. We were stopped again the following morning by the restaurant staff with the same problem. A five-star hotel but its internal communication is clearly not.

Queen2022 (10/5): New Hotel with New Restaurant - Its a brand new hotel in the Hongqiao CBD area, next to the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. Actually, Its the same property owner with two different brands. Hyatt and IHG Group. Few weeks ago, I came to this hotel for the first time for the grand opening of its all day dining restaurant (ADD). The hotel was not open back then. It opened officially just few days ago. In my first visit, I liked the all day dining restaurant very much. I think, this is one of the best all day dining restaurant in Hongqiao area. Lot of choices with multiple food stations. Excellent quality with good service from hardworking local workforce.
