• Angela (1/5): Don't stay here! - Nothing. The property has a mouldy smell. There is mould on the windows and on top of the bathroom light. One of the rooms has a hole in the ceiling with humidity. The bedding had a stain and the kitchen table was dirty.
• Rebecca (8/5): Excellent location, very clean and everything you need for a few days. - Loved the location. For a family it was a great spot, not too far to a few train stations, quiet at night time and loved the park opposite the apartment. It was small but very well resourced. The instructions around the space on how to operate things were very helpful. Very close to a 24hour laundry service. We found the beds quite firm but I certainly wouldn’t say that was a downfall! A second towel and a couple of spare pillows would have been helpful.

Toilettes à part de la SDB. l'appartement est vraiment petit à quatre. Serviettes mises à disposition trop petites. Les matelas des lits sont fatigués. Attention pas d'ascenseur et couloirs étroits.

• Rubén (4/5): Only to sleep. - On the positive side, the location is very good. It is close to several points of interest in Ueno, with a convenience store (konbini) right next to the apartment and a nearby park with cherry blossom trees, which was a nice touch. The apartment is also about a 10-minute walk from a station of Ueno I would not recommend this apartment based on our experience. First of all, the listing clearly stated that the flat included two bedrooms with two beds each and two futons. One of the main reasons we chose this place was to try the futon experience. However, when we arrived, the futon was locked away, and we were told we had to pay extra to use it—something that was not mentioned anywhere in the description. There were also serious issues with the windows. Water was leaking through them, leaving the entire apartment extremely damp, and you could clearly see water dripping inside. On top of that, the windows provide absolutely no light insulation, so as soon as the sun rises (around 5 a.m.), the rooms are completely filled with light, making it very difficult to sleep. The building does not have an elevator, and the stairs are very narrow, which makes carrying luggage बेहद difficult—especially if your apartment is on the fourth floor. The towels provided are of very poor quality. After just one use, they remain damp, forcing you to go to the laundromat almost every day. Also, the apartment looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is. In reality, it’s just a small living area, two bedrooms, a tiny bathroom, and a shower. Basic shower supplies like gel and shampoo were not replenished. We were four people, and the amount provided was insufficient for our stay, so we ran out quickly. Despite being four guests, only two pairs of slippers were provided. Finally, the bedrooms are very poorly equipped—there are only beds, with no bedside tables or any place to leave personal belongings. Overall, the apartment does not match its description and lacks basic comfort and amenities.

• Florian (5/5): Bien pour 2-3 nuits mais pas plus. - Le mail explicatif est très clair concernant les accès, et le logement se trouve très facilement. Le logement est très bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour y passer quelques jours Les chambres sont petites, et les menuiseries en ferraille sont collés contre le lit, ce qui fait qu'a chaque matin on se retrouve avec un lit mouillé et une humidité dans la pièce tres élevée. Il faisait plus froid a l'intérieur que dehors, il faudrait revoir l'isolation. De plus les voisins du meme étage ne sont pas respectueux, a chaque nuit ils couraient dans les parties communes et claquaient fort les portes. Ils étaient complètement bourrés chaque soir, ce qui fait que nous avons très mal dormi. Vous pourrez sûrement constater tout cela avec toutes les caméras que vous avez dans les couloirs, c'était horrible !

We were also near a coin laundry, a bunch of restaurant and it was only a 5 minutes walk to Ameyoko Market. I think the room was a tad small, maybe enough for 3 adults max. I think if you use it for a base and only use as a place to shower and sleep, it's fine. But as someone with kids who needs their space to move, it was a bit tight.

• Wai ho (8/5): 在酒店位置,室內空間,和日常使用方便度方面性價比都很高 - 1. 樓下就有一間7-11及藥妝店, 每晚買水,飲品飯糰及補充日用品都十分方便. 2. 2分鐘步程就有一間自助洗衣店, 我們每三天就洗一次衣服, 洗衣機有大中小的而且有乾衣功能. 付款操作介面易明易用, 非常方便. 3. 附近就有幾間地道的咖啡館, 拉麵店, 串燒店, 很方便早出夜回的行程. 而且價格很好, 比阿美橫丁的食店實惠, 而且質素不錯. 4. 酒店位置在幾條主要鐵路線的中間, 可以因應行程選乘不同地鐵線, 不需要每次都一定要去較遠的上野站. 5. 酒店附近比較清淨, 早晚睡覺時都不會覺得嘈吵. 6. 房間有個少少的煮食空間, 我們在附近多慶屋超市買了火鍋材料及青提子和白桃, 清洗煮食剛剛好足夠. 而且有提供基本刀,叉,碟,筷,較剪和可換手柄的煱. 7. 有配備微波爐, 早餐時可翻熱麵包,飯糰及杯麵. 8. 房間有提供桌椅, 桌子和坐的空間有點細, 我們一家三口剛好足夠. 9. 有配備雪櫃, 非常方便 10. 廳的空間不少, 足夠我們同時打開三個大行李箱平放在地上, 還稍有空間可以走動, 在行程尾聲時要執拾及分配行李時非常方便. 11. 兩個房間各有一張雙人牀, 牀邊有空間放置行李箱(我們有3大兩小的都夠放). 牆身有做吊櫃, 有足夠置物空間. 各房間都有晾衣桿可以掛濕毛巾和衣服, 亦有提供足夠的衣架(應該有十多個) 12. 空調功能足夠. 13. 洗澡和座廁分隔開, 方便同時使用. 14. 密碼門鎖出入非常方便, 不用怕遺失房咭. 15. 牆身有足夠的插座方便充電. 1.隔音較差, 隔壁出入或大聲說話都會聽得很清楚. 2. 座廁和門的距離太近, 每次都要先打開廁板後才進去關門. 3. 廢物分類箱不方便使用, 拉出多一點都會掉出來. 而且廚餘和可燃燒的放同一個箱比較不方便. 4. 雙人房各只有一張被

The unit is spacious enough for up to 4 people. Has a kitchen with basic utensils to make a meal. Noisy guests in other units, speaking loudly in the early hours of the morning when returning to the unit. Would be convenient if the unit had a washing machine and dryer.

• รณกร (9/5): - การจัดเตรียมที่นอนผู้เข้าพักครบตามจำนวน มีพื้ันที่ใช้สอยเหมาะสำหรับครอบครัว - ที่พักอยู่ใกลจากสถานีรถไฟ ทำให้ต้องใช้เดินทางเวลานานระหว่าง ที่พัก-สถานีรถไฟ - มีเครื่องปรับอากาศแบบ เลือกความเย็น และฮีทเตอร์ แค่ในห้องนอน ในส่วนห้องส่วนกลางไม่มี เราไปช่วงหน้าหนาว ต้องรีบเข้าห้องนอน - ห้องน้ำมีเพียง 1 ห้อง ซึ่งเราเข้าพัก 5 คน ต้องใช้เวลานาน และต้องทำให้การเตรียมตัวต้องเร็วขึ้น แต่เราก็เข้าใจได้

• Brittany (8/5): - It had everything we needed. Great location close to the station and 7-11 etc. It was a bit difficult to get our luggage up the stairs. The communal area was quite small.
• TING YU (10/5): - 地點方便，鄰近2個站，剛好座落在中間，走路去上野車站，阿美都算近。有桌子，吃東西方便。浴室超小無浴缸，孩子比較不愛，但不影響。有提供空氣清淨機。桌上有放房間使用規定，離開時，垃圾要自行拿出去外面的垃圾桶丟，並不影響對民宿的評價。 孩子打開微波爐，味道超臭，我們並沒使用，只是孩子被味道嚇到了。

• Bootsingkorn (9/5): - The hotel was excellent! The location is unbeatable super easy to find and close to absolutely everything, including shopping and party spots. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room size was just right—not too big, not too small. The only thing that loses a star is that there is no elevator.

Host even let us check in early . 1st floor room is awesome , dont have to drag the luggage upstairs.. For 2 people , the apartment is just perfect.

• Narisa Berlin (8/5): Clean place & easy to check-in. - Value for money. With umbrellas. Allowed to check-in early. Near Ameyoko Shopping Street. Quite small but good enough. Quite a long walk (10 min) to the train station.
• Nathalie (8/5): - -la localisation de l'appartement dans un quartier animé et calme à la fois -l'appartement spacieux et propre (bien pour 2 personnes) - les murs ne sont pas soundproof comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Les autres voyageurs n'étaient pas discrets dans les parties communes. On entendait toutes les conversations depuis notre chambre au RDC. - il n'y a pas de réception (pour envoyer ou recevoir nos bagages de l'aéroport, ce n'est pas possible ou difficile). Cependant, le gestionnaire était bien présent pour vérifier que nous avions quitté le lieu à 10h55 alors que le check-out est à 11h !! Il n'était pas très accueillant et ne parlait pas anglais. Cela m'a mis mal à l'aise. -pas de machine à laver mais des laveries à proximité

• Momoka (4/5): ゆっくり休めました。 - 駅からもそこまで遠くなくよかったです。玄関で会ったスタッフの方が優しく入り方を教えてくれました。シャワー室にはシャンプーなどもきちんとあり、カビが生えていなくて綺麗でした。冷蔵庫やレンジなどもあり、とても便利でした。 2泊だったのに、バスタオル1枚しかありませんでした。バスタオル2枚、フェイスタオル2枚ほしかったです。

• Villanueva (10/5): One of our best accommodation in Japan. - I initially thought the accommodation would be like the typical places we've stayed at before, but it turned out to be exceptional. The property is very clean and perfect for our family of four. It is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Okachimachi Station and about 12 minutes from Ueno Station. Additionally, there's a nearby 7-Eleven and a small grocery store, which is quite convenient. While there is no washing machine inside the room, there is a 24-hour laundromat within walking distance. I truly love this place! Unfortunately, during our first three days of stay, there was a noisy neighbor next door. You can clearly hear their loud voices from our room.
• 재윤 (6/5): 엘베 없는거 빼곤 완벽한숙소 - 좋은점 일단 우에노역에랑 가까워서 좋고 바로앞에 세븐일레븐이 가까이 있어서 좋았음 냉장고큼 침대 푹신 가성비굿굿 그리고 숙소 근처에 코인 세탁소있고 자판기 많음 역까지 걸어댕기기 진짜 좋은 엘베없음...×100. 몸둥아리에 힘없으신분들 3층잡으시면 캐리어 가지고내려오다가 넘어 질수있을꺼 같음,1층 아니면 2층 추천 근데 생각보다 3층도 나쁘지 않음 일단 그냥 숙소는 좋은데 엘베 없어서 놀고 늦게 들어올때 큰마음 먹고 숙소 들어가야됨 아 욕실이 너무 작음 근데 덩치 진짜 많이 크신분들은 내가 볼땐 머리만 감아야됨 ㄹㅇ임 키180넘는 분들 화장실 볼일 볼때 화장실 문이랑 무릎 뽀뽀 갈겨야됨 일단 진짜 가성비 치곤 너무깨긋 하고 좋은 숙소인데 엘베가 없다.....
• Karen (6/5): Cheap but would go elsewhere next time to get some sleep - Cheap Hard to haul suitcases up to 4F as no elevator, paper thin walls, so noisy at night, asked to remove shoes as advertised as tatami but wooden floors throughout, toilet so tiny, you couldn't do up your trousers without opening door and no room to get up to toilet at night with 3 beds adjoining each other in one room.

• jimenakumagae (10/5): Excelente - Buena ubicación y precio para la zona. Es amplio para la media de Ueno. Estaba muy limpio, contaba con elementos de limpieza y de aseo personal (shampoo, enjuage, jabón). Es fácil de llegar y aunque diga "a 10´de la estación" la distancia es corta y está cerca de la zona de restaurantes de Ameyoko. Por la noche para dormir es muy tranquila la zona, y cuenta con un Family mart a 2´ Todo perfecto, pero al ser primer piso por escalera no lo recomendaría para personas mayores, condificultades de movilidad o con niños.
• Yzu-ya (10/5): 有機會還是會入住！ - 住宿地點鬧中取靜，在公園旁邊 到各個地點都很方便 服務人員也很親切 溝通也很順暢 太小而美小而巧 廁所、浴室都太剛剛好
• Tsungpin (6/5): - It is inexpensive. The room is quite clean and safe. The instruction is clear. It is not close to subway stations, especially for kids. Other guests' voice and steps can be heard late at night.
• Arend (8/5): Great place to stay when you want space to pack your bags. - Very spacious! Enough for 4 of our suitcases lying open to pack all the tax free goodies. Toilet was seperate from the shower. Nothing was bad I'd say.

• Lenura (9/5): Comfortable and central - Location is not far from Ueno station and there are other stations nearby as well. We took train from Narita airport to Ueno station and had no issues walking with suitcases to accomodation. 7/11 is around the corner - which was amazing. As you walk a lot in Japan, we had no issues walking to stations, shopping street, Ueno park and even further. Asakusa area and Tokyo Sky are nearby by short train ride. As we had to send our luggage to Kyoto while we went for a night to Hakone, there is Yamato office in a close walking distance. If you are doing the same - they only gave an option to deliver bags to Kyoto ( central location near Kyoto station) in a day, not next day delivery and we were dropping off bags at 9 am. To travel out of Tokyo by Shinkansen to Kyoto/ Osaka ( Hakone in our case) - take a short ride to Tokyo station and get Shinkansen from there. Accomodation itself served what we needed- 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each and seperate eating/kitchen space, seperate shower and toilet. Small, like all places in Japan, but it was great to have a bed each for family of mother and three teens, and some privacy if needed. 2 Suitcases fitted on the floor of main area and small bags/backpacks in the rooms. Kitchen had all we needed. Rubbish bins are just outside the main door. I understand all appartments are different in that hotel/building, I specifically booked on the ground floor 2 bedrooms appt. Had no issues with communication with hotel. One downside is no washing machine. But there is a 24h laundromat nearby, last night before leaving I just walked there and done two sets of washing and drying. There are two options: seperate washing machines operated by coins only and cheaper option and then to use dryer machine. And two in one, washer and dryer which was more expensive option. All in one and dryers can be paid by cash or card.
