• Margaret (8/5): Good stayover - The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to store my case when checked out.Whrn I said there wasn't any coffee/ tea in the room it was refilled promptly. Unfortunately the road outside was being resurfaced so work started early. Unfortunate timing but ok.

The rooms are a great size and well enough equipped for the price. A bit tired, with some mould on the shower sealant and some holes/stains on the sheets. Also thin walls so you hear when people come in late at night.

Lo staff è stato molto gentile (fornendoci la presa europea). Le stanze sono veramente piccole, i bagni veramente minuscoli. La nostra stanza si trovava al terzo piano (senza ascensore) e inoltre la reception mi aveva detto sui messaggi di poter lasciare i miei bagagli fino alla sera mentre al check-out mi hanno detto di poterli lasciare solo fino alle 15.

Also there was a door to the inner courtyard, it would have been nice to go outside and have a table and chair there.

• VIVIEN (9/5): great value, lovely staff, clean and bright. - Everything was lovely from the welcoming staff to the room that had all I needed for the night. My only request would be a reading light - or a lamp at the side of the bed. The only option was an overhead central light which made it a bit bright as it had a flourescent bulb. Other than that it was perfect.

I love a firm mattress which is what I got & I slept like a baby. There was a kettle & coffee machine, iron & hairdryer The room was basic but clean. • Mark (1/5): BE CAREFUL ABOUT CHECK IN TIME!!!! - The staff in the hotel were friendly and the hotel appeared clean. The room was small and the bed quite uncomfortable but I felt that was reflective of the price. My flight was scheduled to land at 20:05, during the booking process I selected a check-in time of 21:00–22:00. The following day, the hotel contacted me to state that reception is only open between 15:00–21:00 and that I would therefore be unable to check in at the time I had selected. I immediately attempted to resolve this reasonably by asking whether alternative arrangements could be made, including checking in in advance, leaving the key in a lockbox, or paying an additional fee for a staff member to remain onsite briefly. Every one of these reasonable requests was rejected outright. The complete lack of flexibility is unacceptable, particularly for a hotel located in central London. I was also informed that failure to arrive before 21:00 could be treated as a “no-show,” potentially invalidating my entire four-night booking. This approach is both unreasonable and disproportionate, given that the hotel and Booking.com had already accepted my stated arrival time during the booking process. The only solution offered was to check in the following day, which forced me to book alternative accommodation for the first night at my own expense and lose the cost of that night entirely. When I requested either a refund for the unusable first night or a cancellation of the booking, the hotel refused, hiding behind the non-refundable rate despite the fact that the room was inaccessible due to their own operational restrictions. While the hotel does technically mention its limited reception hours, this information is buried at the very bottom of the information page and is very easy to miss. More importantly, it is completely misleading that Booking.com allows guests to select a check-in time outside the hotel’s operating hours without any warning, restriction, or validation. This is a fundamental failure in the booking process and creates a false expectation that late check-in is accepted. I raised this issue with booking.com and received no response or support.

Cleaning service and there were liquid marks on various pieces of furniture, including headboard behind bed. I opened soap on first day and my bad didn't put wrapper in bin and it was still on sink at the end of our 4 day stay. Fussy I know.

It was in easy reach of many places to have breakfast and lunch. The hotel is situated on a quite street so I had a very restful couple of nights sleep. The stairs was quite narrow and a bit difficult to carry bags up to the room - I was on the top floor.

There were no frills but that was fine for me as I was only staying for one night. The gentleman who booked me in was very friendly and helpful as was the housekeeper I met on the stair. The area was quiet I slept well and only heard doors shutting in the hotel. I was on the top floor ( there's no lift) and the stairs are narrow and steep so might be a problem if you have mobility issues. There is a kettle but no tea or coffee, which would have been nice, otherwise there was everything that I needed. The room and bathroom were very compact - fine for 1 but might've been a squeeze for 2. It is advertised as small though!

• Oriana (9/5): Confortevole, ci tornerò. - La pozione è perfetta, super centrale. A pochi passi dalla stazione metro “high street kensington” e ci sono anche le fermate dei bus molto vicine. La zona è bellissima, nuova e piena di servizi. Per quanto riguarda la struttura ci siamo trovati molto bene, personale accogliente e camera carina. Era abbastanza pulita e funzionava tutto. La camera era all’ultimo piano e si dovevano fare 5 rampe di scale ripidissime. Inoltre, la pressione dell’acqua era bassissima.

Keine Möglichkeit um Kleidung aufzuhängen z.B. Hakenleiste. Spiegel nur im Bad und keine Steckdose.. Wenn ich es nochnal buche nur in den oberen Etagen..

We had a great walk into the city and got back to the hotel on the subway which was right beside the hotel. We wanted to sightsee before checkin and the staff were very accommodating, keeping our luggage and putting it in our room when the room was free.

Man wurde eher gemaßregelt wenn man etwas nicht richtig verstanden hat. Freundlichkeit steht da absolut nicht auf der Tagesordnung. Unser Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber, wir hatten schwarze dicke Haare in der Dusche welche nicht von uns waren und es wurde nur oberflächlich geputzt.

• Jane (8/5): Very nice hotel and excellent location. - Loved the location and the style of the property. Felt very homely. Liked that it had a coffee machine. Very comfy beds. Was a little unclean in areas for example dust under the bed and on surfaces. There was some ants on the floor etc.

• Malissa (9/5): Great place to stay off the Kensington High Street station - Stayed for one week. Staff was very accommodating and kept the room in excellent condition. The room itself is utilitarian, but that is all I needed. Heat was great. Hot water was perfect. Only issue was Wi-Fi could be a bit challenging but I was able to make it work. Wi-Fi could improve. Overall great.
• Rainer (7/5): Gut für 2-3 Nächte würde grundsätzlich wieder Buchen - Das Hotel ist in guter Lage und in nicht einmal 5 Gehminuten von der Ubahn Station entfernt. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sauber, man konnte auch das Fenster öffnen. Für 2-3 Nächte kann ich das Hotel empfehlen, wenn man außer darin zu schlafen nichts braucht. Die Zimmer liegen sehr nah aneinander und man hört alles was am Gang und teilweise auch in anderen Zimmern passiert. Wenn man also beim Schlafen empfindlich ist, könnte das zum Problem werden. Das Bad hat keine Fenster, es waren bei der Dusche teilweise schon kleine Schimmelflecken und auch die Armaturen waren bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bett war etwas kurz.

• Emma (5/5): If there’s a possibility of your travel being delayed, don’t book here. - I like staying here when I visit London for work because it is well located, well priced, clean and comfortable. I had an issue this time where the customer service staff refused to contemplate an exception to the no check ins after 9pm rule, even for a fee, in the event my travel was delayed. Luckily the receptionist very kindly waited until 9.05pm to check me in. This caused an immense level of stress as I had no other arrangements made.

El personal de recepción muy amable, el chico incluso intentó hablar algo de español para que nos entendiéramos bien! Nos hubiera gustado poder regular la temperatura de la habitación a nuestro gusto, pero el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y el calefactor ya tenía una temperatura fijada.

• Anna (9/5): Siamo stati molto bene, la struttura è stata un ottimo appoggio per la nostra gita di qualche giorno, la metro è comoda - Abbiamo apprezzato molto la pulizia delle camere quotidiana e la cordialità di lasciare i filtri del the o caffè per agevolare il soggiorno L’unica pecca della struttura alcune macchie sui muri e sul piatto doccia, la maniglia interna rotta e la luce dello specchio del bagno non funzionante
• Nathanael (5/5): Klein en gehorig - Het lag vrij dicht bij de metro halte. Ook was er een fijn ontbijt café in de buurt. Het is enorm gehorig. Zowel van boven als naast ons was alles te horen: woordelijk de tv en zelfs het gesnurk. Als een wc werd doorgetrokken klonk het als onweer.

• Lorenzo (9/5): - Posizione ottima, a 2 min a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana da cui poter raggiungere tutta la città e a 10 min da Kensington Gardens in cui poter camminare e rilassarsi in mezzo al verde seppur in mezzo alla città. Camera confortevole, moderna e pulita, rispetta le aspettative e le caratteristiche descritte in fase di prenotazione. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Solo alcune piccolezze: gli orari di check-in e check-out non sono molto flessibili, tutto viene specificato correttamente sul sito dell'hotel ma per una migliore esperienza implementerei un servizio più completo. Deposito bagagli post check-out mancante ma a parer mio essenziale per chi come noi ha prenotato un volo di ritorno la sera tardi e deve farsi tutto il giorno con zaini/valigie appresso oppure prenotare apposito locker in cui lasciarli. Strutturalmente le pareti delle camere non sono del tutto isolate acusticamente, si sentivano rumori dai bagni e dagli scarichi dei vicini o rumori provenienti dalle scale, per chi ha sonno leggero può essere fastidioso. Nonostante queste piccole accortezze, ci tornerei molto volentieri!
