Pizza at the Italian restaurant was also excellent. Can even see Mount Fuji on a clear day from the breakfast restaurant and the lobby. Service by every staff member is top notch. Absolutely perfectly run hotel!

It’s centrally located next to a metro and taxis in front at every second. It’s not in Ginza where you can walk out your hotel and be around shops and restaurants but besides that it’s absolutely perfect. Tiffany and Alvin the GM were incredibly hospitable and helpful with every detail.
- Trvl8176 (10/5): Just Fabulous... - This is a fabulous, fabulous hotel. The location is great. It is so easy to get to everything from here. We were able to walk places, easily catch ubers/taxis and take the subway from the hotel. The staff was great, the rooms were always serviced while we were out. The mattresses, linens, bath towels and toiletries were all the wonderful Four Seasons staples. The breakfast was super fast (we were always in a hurry) and great. We loved the view from our room and the setup was very nice. We had three people in a room and we all fit nicely. The price was also great for the value. I would highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Tokyo and I hope I will be able to return someday.

I can also see why it would be an excellent hotel for business travelers, and the only thing I will say is that the location is a little less convenient than some of the other hotels. For example, the Peninsula and Edition are slightly better locations in my opinion.

The seamless greeting and entry, sheparded all the way by members of the incredible staff, the gorgeous interior design - and the views that took our breath away!! We were extra fortunate to be here at a time of year and in weather conditions which meant we had a wonderful view of Mt Fuji from the main dining and bar areas, looking out over the Imperial Palace and Gardens. The breakfast was equal to the best we’ve experienced in any hotel or resort, incredible selection and superb quality. We also enjoyed dining in the Italian restaurant, Pignata - again, great food and wonderful service. Our room was immaculate, with a huge bathroom overlooking the city. We also used the gym and pool - more amazing views! But I’ve saved the best for last - the service! Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, needs were anticipated and the staff were unfailingly helpful, happy and made everything an absolute joy. I’d love to single someone out - but it was all of them! Special thanks, however, to the team at the bell desk, who were brilliant in helping us deal with a tricky situation regarding transport on our departure. We’d independently pre-booked transport to Nagano and needed to get there by a certain time to get onward transport to the snowfields. Our transport arrived late, in a car not suitable for purpose and not what we’d ordered. The staff helped us calmly navigate the situation, send the original car away and source a suitable replacement from a different company who got us to Nagano on time. This saved us SO much travel stress and spoke so clearly to their professionalism and service ethic. Absolutely cannot wait to return!!!
- JonM646 (10/5): Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi — A Modern Crown Jewel - Four Seasons Otemachi is one of the most impressive modern luxury hotels I’ve stayed at, not just in Japan but within the entire FS portfolio. Opened in 2020 and designed from the ground up, this property feels purpose-built for a contemporary luxury traveler. It delivers on nearly every front. Location & Views The location is superb—central, connected to multiple subway lines, and makes navigating Tokyo incredibly easy. The sky-high lobby and guest floors offer views that are nothing short of spectacular. We had multiple mornings with clear views of Mount Fuji from the lounge and our room, which was a highlight of our stay. Design & Atmosphere You can tell immediately that this property is new and intentionally designed. Everything—from the spacious arrival level to the elevators, room layout, finishes, and lighting—feels curated but not overdone. It’s a showcase of understated Japanese luxury. Service Service was excellent and very much in line with Four Seasons standards. We were consistently greeted and welcomed back, often by name, which added a personal and memorable touch. Staff throughout the hotel were warm, polished, and proactive in offering help. Facilities: Pool & Spa The pool and wellness floor are spectacular, offering sweeping city views and a serene, minimalist atmosphere. We booked a massage during our stay, and it was among the best we’ve had anywhere—truly restorative and worth planning time for. Minor Misses Two details stood out as surprising for a hotel of this caliber. First, the toilet paper is single-ply. When everything else—from the bed linens to the bathrobes—is ultra-premium, it feels out of place. Second, during check-in, the staff member knew one of our keys wasn’t working and witnessed it fail in the elevator, yet still handed it to us. Later, I ended up locked out returning from the pool—in a bathrobe—because of that same faulty key. A small oversight, but notable given Four Seasons’ usual precision. Overall Despite the minor quirks, FS Otemachi is an exceptional hotel with next-level design, incredible views, and excellent service. It sets a new standard for luxury in Tokyo, and we look forward to returning on our next visit. Would we stay again? Absolutely.
- mattt75 (10/5): What an experience! Phenomenal! - The views from the rooms here are surreal. The breakfast buffet is off the charts. They had every breakfast item you can imagine. For room service, it seemed like every piece of lettuce and fruit was hand picked and served. Like Michelin starred room service. We could see Tokyo Tower, Mount Fuji, Imperial Palace and gardens, etc. from our room. Service was exceptional! It is hard to put into words how good this place is. We stayed here Nov 9 to Nov 12, and the fall colors were amazing!

The rooms are spacious and quiet. The service is above and beyond. The design aspects of the hotel are amazing. The breakfast buffet is great. The pastry chef is top notch . Virtu bar is a must. Location is ideal. The gym/ spa is best I have seen in a hotel.

The views from the 39th floor over the Imperial palace gardens toward Mt Fuji are very memorable especially at night.

Easily walkable to Ginza for shopping and great food scenes. The service there was impeccable. Treated like family from the get-go. The staff there was very courteous and were very friendly and easy to talk to. Once they got to know you greeted you every morning as if your family. The rooms were well appointed. Very modern and up-to-date. The athletic facilities and sauna was also great too We had the afternoon tea and breakfast. The food was amazing and very plentiful. Service was on point and selection was varied. Well worth it to go to the afternoon tea. We are planning to return as soon as we can.

The hotel is located next to the metro station as well as a large number of taxis available outside of the hotel. The indoor pool and spa area was really nice after a long day of exploring. The rooms also feature a tablet where you can request in room dining, turn down service and speak to the front desk etc. Highly recommend this hotel a luxury stay in Tokyo.

The location is really good , you have the otemachi station in the same building , and you can take 4 lines and if you want taxi , you can always find them right at the door , hotel staff will give the instructions if you give them the address . Regarding the room restaurant and overall the hotel, the pictures that the hotel show you, are real, is a beautiful property, if you can try to get the corner room, the view is espectacular . 5/5 in everything , try the restaurant for dinner , the bar is really nice , and you don’t need reservation for anything , just go and the will try to find you a table

We were impressed from the moment we arrived, the hotel restaurants were top tier as was their amenities. Staff were all lovely and welcoming, spoke good English. The lobby was my favorite of the trip with the pink orchids. The views were stunning from the room also. Well located, very close to the station, easy to find. Only thing we found was that you have to get to the main lobby then go down a few floors to your level, then to leave you had to go back upstairs to the lobby. We felt the staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. When we were going to check out, the team had arranged for their driver to take us to our next hotel, and that left us feeling very impressed and it was a nice surprise. Well done to the team for going the extra mile, it makes us want to book with the FS again.

- 236erice (10/5): Luxury Stay with Amazing Service in Tokyo - We recently stayed here for our engagement trip to Japan. The hotel is nothing short of fantastic. The concierge team was amazing, setting up tours and engagement photos for us. We ate often at the breakfast buffet and room service, the food was top notch. The hotel rooms are beautiful and well appointed, very modern and the entrance on the 39th floor with a water feature overlooking Tokyo is an amazing view. The service and staff at this hotel are what really set it apart. Every single person we encountered offered some of the best service we have encountered anywhere in the world and they go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Maiko from guest services provided an amazing and seemless check in experience and George from the front door staff guided us through Tokyo station and went above and beyond to ensure a stress free trip. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Tokyo.

Stunning views of the imperial palace below and Tokyo city all around, particularly at night with all their lights on. Bathroom design is beautiful and stylish. Pool also has a great view of the city and huge loungers for couples to relax together. The mist chairs area is so nice after a hot day or the steam room. Concierge easy to reach via WhatsApp and was really helpful.

Notre chambre d’angle, avec ses deux murs vitrés, offrait une vue splendide sur Tokyo – nous avons même admiré le feu d’artifice du Sumidagawa fin juillet, un moment magique. Le room service, accessible depuis la tablette, est très pratique, et le personnel, toujours souriant et attentionné, rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est décevant : peu de choix, qualité moyenne et prix élevé. On paie surtout le cadre. Le dîner, en revanche, est bien meilleur. Petit bémol : on nous a demandé notre numéro de chambre à de nombreuses reprises dans l’hôtel (piscine, salle de sport, etc.). Cela devenait gênant et donnait moins l’impression d’être “chez nous” le temps du séjour.

- Paul (10/5): The best hotel in the best city. - The amenities and location were excellent. What makes this hotel above the others is the small but noticeable details. For example, upon return from enjoying the city simple things such as our charging cables would be neatly folded and place in leather pouches. The staff could not possibly any better. The Italian restaurant, Pigneto, (Sicilian, forgotten his name) had one of the most attentive waiters we have ever experienced. The barman, Anoup was equally good with his service. Absolutely nothing.

- KeithM00n (10/5): Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi – A Truly Exceptional Stay - We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi in July for four nights, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel's location is ideal centrally positioned near the Imperial Palace with easy access to subways, taxis, and all that central Tokyo has to offer. The property itself is stunning, with a grand lobby on the 39th floor that immediately sets the tone for a luxurious experience. The staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. We’d like to express our sincere thanks to the incredible team who made our stay so memorable, especially Waka Toki, Ryota Mori, Alesha Naganuma, and Ha Le, whose warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. A special mention goes to the concierge team, who were phenomenal both before and during our stay. They seamlessly arranged restaurant reservations, coordinated airport transportation, and surprised us with thoughtful in-room touches including a beautiful floral arrangement, Pikachu toys for our children, and champagne and chocolates, an incredibly personal and appreciated gesture. Our suite on the 35th floor was spacious and beautifully appointed, offering breathtaking views over the Tokyo skyline. The bathroom and shower were exceptional, the beds were supremely comfortable, and both the in-room dining and on-site restaurants exceeded expectations. The fitness center, located on the 39th floor, was another highlight. With state-of-the-art equipment and sweeping panoramic views of Tokyo, it was a peaceful and invigorating place to work out—especially in the early morning hours around 5–6am when it was particularly quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would enthusiastically return on a future visit to Tokyo.

- Trip200379 (10/5): An all around great visit to an exceptional hotel - Had an all around great visit to the hotel. Was there for 5 days. Had two connecting rooms. One a king for my wife and me and the other a double for our teenage kids. The rooms and most importantly the bed were excellent. The bathroom was very good. However, the shower, in my opinion, was one of the best I have ever used. Room was very well appointed. Ate in the hotel for breakfast and it was really great. Lots of choices. Options changed regularly. Food quality excellent. If you can’t find some thing to eat, it’s not the hotels fault. Had a lovely dinner in the hotel one night as well. Beautiful views. Apps and entrees were all good. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely stay there when we go back to Tokyo.

I was welcomed to the hotel with great kindness, and the same kindness and care characterised my whole stay. Everyone I met went above and beyond in making everything as good as it could possibly be: the reception team, the housekeeping team, the swimming pool team, the concierges - all were truly wonderful. As the hotel is high up on the thirty-fourth to the thirty-ninth floors of its building, the views over Tokyo are extraordinary. I especially like the views of the city at night: to fall asleep in a beautiful room with the lights of Tokyo twinkling to the far horizon is very special. Some might worry that, being in the financial district, the Four Seasons might lack heart and soul. I didn't find this at all, and I loved being right next to the Imperial Palace Gardens - a place of peace and beauty. Every district of Tokyo has its own special character, and it's super-easy to reach all parts of the city from Otemachi. Thank you to everyone at the wonderful Four Seasons for helping to make my last three days in Japan so good.

- 818zainabb (2/5): Don’t stay here, you have many better choices in Tokyo - We are a family with 3 kids booking only one night in Tokyo. Our first hotel impression before check in was wow. We checked in at 2:50 at the check in time we did not feel welcomed and the stuff were busy all the time. We filled all the required paper. We wait until 3:00pm and they did not give us the the room key. They told us there is no available rooms and we have to wait at least 20 minutes. and this was absolutely not acceptable for a high brand hotel. we wait in the reception until 3:30pm finally they offer a not ready room and not cleaned well. And the toilet smell stinky. Note: only one stuff make us feel welcome at the hotel YUHEI whos working in the Italian restaurant. Overall I advise you if you want to stay at fs. The best choice is fs Marounochi.

- Dream01720122415 (8/5): Elegant and peaceful stay in Tokyo - Four Seasons Tokyo was the first hotel I stayed at in Japan. The room was quiet and very comfortable, with a beautiful night view. Staff were polite and helpful, making everything easy for a first-time visitor. I especially enjoyed the breakfast?it was fresh, well-presented, and relaxing. The whole stay felt calm and well-organized. I'd gladly stay again on a future trip.
- luxuryvoyage (10/5): luxury hotel - wow bar Virtù - We spent 3 nights at the FS Otemachi. I was initially concerned that the hotel was far away from the tourist sights and the location in the financial district was deserted in the evening. My concerns were unfounded, the hotel is close to the metro station and the area is very safe and well maintained. We loved our Superior Room with imperial garden view: modern, very bright, high floor with sweeping views, luxurious furnishings and lots of complimentary amenities (very good tea, nuts, lots of bottled water, bath products, welcome sweets...). The Virtu Bar is a hotspot and also very popular with non-hotel guests. There is usually a queue, but you can always find a seat after a short time. Our favourite place in the evening. We also liked the Italian restaurant Pigneto with it's relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The pizza is very good. We used the lounge for an early dinner. However, we felt less comfortable there due to the rather sterile atmosphere. There are cozy tables by the window, but our table was in the hallway. Over all, we highly recommend FS Otemachi for a vacation or business trip.

- pripatel131 (2/5): Amex booking - We booked our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Otemachi through the American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts program using our Amex Gold card, but we are also Platinum cardholders and expected the associated FHR perks to be honored. At check-in, the front desk incorrectly claimed our reservation was made through Expedia and refused to provide any of the benefits promised through the FHR program. We showed them our confirmation, our Platinum card, and even had Amex customer service directly confirm that the booking was made through the proper Amex portal—not Expedia. Despite all this, the staff still refused to acknowledge the error or offer any kind of resolution. We wasted a significant amount of time trying to explain the situation, but the staff showed no willingness to help or make things right. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. For a hotel with a five-star reputation, the lack of professionalism and customer care was unacceptable. We expected much better from the Four Seasons brand.

- 114jackm (10/5): WOW!!! - We have stayed at many fine hotels around the world. This hotel ranks right up there as being one of the best. Location - across the street almost from the Imperial palace. It is the financial district for Tokyo. About 20 to 30 minutes from Ginza district by cab. The rooms are all on very high floors with the lobby being on the highest. On a clear day you can see Mt. Fuji from the restaurant.

- sch8 (10/5): Amazing - I was celebrating a special milestone birthday and picked this hotel after reading several reviews. I was just blown away from pre-arrival to departure! Their attention to detail was just phenomenal! The service was just impeccable: - I needed a baby bottle steriliser and had asked if they had one prior to arrival. They went the extra mile and even arranged for housekeeping to send me photos via email. - When I arrived, they wished me a happy birthday had upgraded me to a deluxe room and there was a cake and decorations waiting for me. It was truly lovely and thoughtful. - When I got to the room, the steriliser had already been set up! In other hotels, I've had to remind them to send this. Also, I had ordered packages from Amazon and instead of having to chase, they brought them up to me. The room and facilities were also amazing. It is a new(ish) hotel and the room as well as the gym and pool were very modern and well-fitted. The views of the Imperial palace were just breathtaking. Location wise, while it is in the CBD are, it is really convenient and close to the Imperial Palace. The only thing I regret is not getting a room with the Imperial Palace View. The city view was ok but nothing to write home about.

- Jamira (10/5): - Ended our girls trip to Japan with another fabulous FS stay. Staff was exceptional as always both before and during our stay. Views of the city are beautiful and the spa is definitely worth a visit. We ate at the bar and Italian resultant (dinner and breakfast), but did not have time to try the French restaurant. The food was okay in comparison to the FS Osaka location where the food was fabulous. Tokyo has many great restaurants and I so would recommend those instead. Overall a great property!
- Escape62842756767 (10/5): Amazing - It is a beautiful hotel with a great view of the imperial palace and you can even see the guards training from the high up floors. I love the staff and the decorations like the cherry blossoms are beautiful. The pool is amazing and also has a great view and the food especially Japanese Breakfast, Buffet, and Italian Restaurant. I do think the Afternoon Tea could have better service as they were very slow. They do have a lot of options however for the food. Overall beautiful experience
- Andreas (10/5): We had a lovely stay at the Four Seasons Otemachi. Stunning hotel and the rooms were clean and quiet - Very clean, great facilities, polite staff. The room was lovely. The spa and pool were fantastic after a long day out walking.

Train station right under the hotel and Taxis at the door waiting for you. Will be coming back again!! Nothing
