The room that was presented is on the ground floor, the windows are covered with black film! I don't understand what they're doing there. The pool is located in close proximity to a busy highway! The staff is not friendly!
Alto (10/5): Great! - 2 minutes walking from the red line, so in 25 minutes your in the airport (google maps says it takes longer but google maps is not accurate with walking times in Bangkok). This is why we chose this hotel to go home, easy access and was very clean and beautiful and for the price we were very satisfied! Only downside we needed to pay a deposit in cash. I would prefer this could be done by card because now we had 1000 bath when we were leaving after check out and we flew home directly so we couldn’t do much with that cash. But I totally understand a deposit is needed in a Hostel so it’s ok.

Christoph (3/5): Far too expensive for a hotel in this location - Great and super friendly Staff. The hotel is located near the train tracks, but right on a major highway. It is extremely noisy there. The building shakes when trucks drive by! No joke! The surroundings are absolutely not nice, dirty, and super loud. Not a good area in Bangkok. Everything was extremely dark there. Absolutely not suitable for HSP people!

Swimming pool is too small, can't even swim.

Kathren Kelly (10/5): - I loved our stay at Hotel Ordinary Bangkok. I booked two rooms for my family and had a great time - the staff were very friendly and helpful. I love how convenient the location of the hotel is. Rooms are very clean as well. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Bangkok.

Yvonne (1/5): Accused of stealing and forced to pay money on checkout - Location good Our stay here was unfortunately ruined by being accused of stealing a hairdryer bag and forced to pay 500THB before they would allow us to leave (our taxi was waiting outside and they locked the door and started threatening us, we had to pay as our youngest child started to cry). We understand that they need to ensure guests are not taking hotel property, however we waited until they had refunded the 1000THB deposit and signed the form that we had received our refund before ordering taxi. Once taxi was en route they started to accuse us of taking the black bag that the hairdryer was stored in, which didn't give us much time to check if it had fallen into our bags (we were family of 5 so had several bags to check). It feels deliberate that they waited until our taxi was ordered to start accusing us of stealing but I don't know why they would cause this much trouble for the sake of 500THB (although this was an extortionate price as the polyester hairdryer bag could not have cost them more 100THB to purchase). In the end we paid as they locked the door and stood in front refusing to allow us to leave and my young daughter was crying and taxi was waiting. We searched our bags properly when we arrived at the next place and we didn't have the hairdryer bag so I'm not sure if this was a scam or it had accidentally been taken from room by cleaners, however it spoiled our stay here which seems short-sighted for the sake of a hairdryer bag for a company that relies on good reviews for business which is a pity.

Split, de climatisation, mal placé face au lit.. odeur forte et très désagréable dans la chambre. Les lumières de chevet ne fonctionnait pas pas de prise au niveau des tables de chevet, chambre trop petite.

Morgan (10/5): Lovely staff & lovely hotel:) - Very close to airport line which is very handy. Gave us 4 bottles of water for a 1 night stay which is very kind. Clean room, comfy bed (2 pillows!) Right next to main road so could be a bit loud if you’re a light sleeper but wasn’t a problem for us

Anna (10/5): - A very nice, cozy hotel with a big room and extremely comfortable bed. Hotel offers free snacks and some breakfast variety. The rooms are clean, spacious and stylish, and all the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is located near a big road, which is a slight drawback, but the sound insulation is okay and the cars don't wake you up.
X914BMclementl (8/5): Great Staffs & Facilities - Facilities: For a 3 stars hotel, I can only say that it has provided an above average service. Rooms are highly kept clean and even the cleaners & porters are extremely courteous and helpful. Having said all these, the main purpose for my writing is because I want to mention 2 outstanding staffs which I want to express my highest appreciation and gratitude. Reception: Ms Hana One of the reception staffs which performed the best is by the name of Hana. She deals with customers with high professionalism. Her friendly and sincere smiles provided a very positive vibes to the whole surrounding. She never failed to serve with a smile. This gives the Hotel an extra edge which customer, like me will be looking forward to come back and, overlooking the disadvantages. As a Customer Service Manager myself, I can only say Ms Hana is an excellent asset to the organisation she works for. Porter: Mr Tee I was greeted by Mr Tee with a burst of good vibes the moment I entered the main door. He greeted everyone with a sincere and happy smiles. Offering drinks from a much-needed warm weather in Thailand when I requested for one. He makes short but polite conversation to enquire about our trip to Thailand with his constant smiles. Thus, making the place livelier with good energies. It really warms my heart to see two excellent staffs like this with excellent work ethic and attitude. Be assured that I will come back again as a recurring customer (overlooking the disadvantages) Looking forward to be able to meet both of them again on my next trip to Thailand. Suggestion: It will be an added advantage to recognise the service of these staffs by sending them for higher customer service course to upgrade their skills so that they can be a trainer themselves and provide an example to the rest. The other advantage is to retain valuable staff like them for the organisation to move forward with great success. Location: The distance towards the main shopping area eg Platinum Mall and other area of interests and for food is rather inconvenient as we have to cross several dangerous heavy traffics roads. However, and most importantly, the purpose of writing is my appreciation for two of your outstanding staffs which made my stay magical and filled with gratitude towards them (Kindly refer to "Advantages"). Christian (10/5): Tolles Zimmer, Praktische Lage, - Sehr schönes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Mit Jacuzziwanne und 2 Duschen. Wirklich sehr freundliches Personal. Manche Bewertungen beschweren sich über die gefährliche Überquerung der Straße. So gefährlich ist das an dieser Stelle gar nicht. Ich glaube die haben Thailand oder Asien bis dahin noch nicht wirklich erlebt. Leider ist der Verkehrslärm der Hauptstraße im 4ten Stock im Zimmer wahrnehmbar aber nicht das Ende der Welt.
Karlbofox (6/5): Неплохой вариант для 1-2 ночей. - Очень удобная кровать. Есть кондиционер. Чайник. Фен. Рядом станция метро. Есть кухня где можно бесплатно заварить кофе, чай или лапшу. Разогреть еду или можно приготовить что угодно из своих продуктов. Рядом стройка. Очень шумно. Отель расположен на углу между дорогами. Бассейн маленький, вроде чистый, но купаться не было желания. Очень шумно. И пыльно от дороги. Есть только одна курилка при входе в отель. И главное, в номере окно не открывается. Окно из матового стекла, только пропускает дневной свет. Проветрить комнату нельзя.

Mrs. Cupcake (9/5): Damn AC remote - The staff were friendly and helpful. It's not that hard to locate the hotel. 10 minutes walk to pratunam market. 3 mins walk to 7-11. 5 mins walk to laundry shop. You can request them send it to your hotel when it's done. And the interesting part is, Wash + dry + fold + delivery only cost us THB170 which is great. I've been charge TBH 2500 due to loss of AC remote(supposed to be THB 5000 but the staff understand our situation). It's my fault i didn't inform the staff regards no AC remote on the room. I thought it's normal to not have AC remote since some hotel use auto switch. Anyway, lesson learn.
