• Wojciech72 (10/5): - Bardzo przytulny, czysty i pachnący pokój. Wyposażony w podstawowe artykuły kuchenne. Sztućce, talerze, szklanki, kubki, mala lodówka z woda, lampki do wina, czajnik, otwieracz do butelek 😀 toster, żelazko, suszarkę do włosów a nawet jednorazowe szczoteczki do zębów i mini żele pod prysznic. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką , która poczęstowała na dzień dobry pysznym ciastem. Poleciła kilka miejsc do posiłków i kilka atrakcji. Przytulny balkon przy głównej promenadzie jednak okna w nocy doskonale wyciszają uliczny gwar. Świetna lokalizacja. No i żółwie naprzeciwko głównego wejścia, na wysokim murku. Bezcenne 😀 Blisko duży market spożywczy - 5 minut spacerkiem. W okolicy mnóstwo restauracji, barów i przytulnych kawiarni. Polecam miejscówkę bo warto. Autobus nr 6 kursujący do OldTown w odległości 300m. Wszystko ok.

• Jari-Pekka (8/5): Excellent location and balcony - Villa Ruza was as good as expected. Location was excellent and distance was to the OK beach 200 meters and to closest shops 300 meter. It was nice to follow people from the balcony in a pedestrian street. It had many cafes and restaurants. You gotta go 40-50 steps to get to the room. I saw that in advance from photos.

• U-zair (10/5): Perfect apartment in Lapad! - Perfectly located above a stretch of restaurants & bars leading to the sunset beach. Lively till 12 am, but the room was well insulated, not so much noise in the room. Fridge was stocked with water & toileteries is provided (even travel tooth brush). Nothing.
• Eleanor (8/5): Amazing location! - We absolutely loved the location. Lapad is such a great local area. There are many restaurants, the beach is only 200 meters away, a beautiful walking track. We had a small balcony so it was great to spend time there and people watch with a glass of wine. The apartment was cute and tidy. Our lock wasn't working well. We struggled every time we needed to get back into the apartment.

• Mélissa (9/5): - Le logement était très propre et bien équipé. Il est très bien situé (proche de la mer, des arrêts de bus pour aller au centre historique). Le quartier est très animé mais le logement est bien insonorisé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis.
• ANTOINE (7/5): - Very nice location on a street with restaurants and shops, leading to the sea front. Very close bus stop to Dubrovnik city. Nice welcoming owner. Very clean apartment / good shower. The little fridge's noise was a nightmare all the night, preventing to sleeping properly. It might be noisy until midnight because of music (night animation) from the street. Booking.com make the apartment appearing if you select 'free parking' in sorts, but there is none. If you've got a car, find a parking place is a fight, if you are Lucky, the closest is at 17,5 e for day, otherwise you might park at tommy supermarket but it will be 3e per hour and not so close if you've got heavy luggage’s. Booking.com make the apartment appearing if you select 'kitchen' in sorts, but there is none, only forks, knife and equipment’s to make tea + fridge.

• Emma (8/5): A cosy apartment in the heart of Lapad. - Literally on the Sunset Beach strip surrounded with restaurants, bars, shops and ticket office for transport. Supermarket and bus stop two minute walk away. Sunset Beach within 4 minutes of walking. Room was comfortable with air conditioning and a balcony looking over the strip. Soap, towels, hair dryer, toilet roll, cutlery, plates and kettle all provided. Host arranged transfer from/to airport which was great. Would have been great if an iron/ironing board was available/provided.
• Janek (9/5): Lovely stay for not too much money and easy connection with the old centre and beaches nearby - It was really clean and tidy. Additionally, the balcony was a nice extra and had good air conditioning. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the communication with the owner was quick. Booking a taxi through the owner was easy and only 20 euros, which is roughly what an Uber would cost too; however, you are sure you will have someone. It was a bit hard to find as it did not have great signage. However, you just have to find the Esperanza bar, and the owner will be in there with the room above that bar. The bathroom was alright, nothing to special but clean!
• Jason (8/5): Very good - the owner was very nice.. water and some beers in fridge.. the balcony was nice to, sun all day.. .also . if you like sitting out ther people watching all day... everything thing is so close by.. and thax to mara for arranging are taxis too..over all I would highly recommend a few days here... 4 we stead for.. which was perfect. some building work going on across the road at a hotel... sure that progress..

• Anne (6/5): I want to give it another try - The room itself was comfortable and located at the promenade with some shops and restaurants nearby. The beach is also close. Contacting the host was difficult. I messaged a few times about the changes of our itinerary due to a cancelled flight but didn’t get any response. I had to call them directly. I informed them that we’ll arrive at midnight but didn’t get any information on how to get the key to the apartment. Finding the correct gate to the apartments was tough as well, since there wasn’t any sign saying VILLA RUZA. It was freezing outside and thankfully, there was someone at the restaurant downstairs who contacted the host for us. Waited for half an hour to get settled.
• Trisha (6/5): Clean unit, but parking is an issue. - The unit was clean, and the balcony looked over the street. Location was close to the beach, bus stop, shops, and restaurants. No parking nearby. Host did not answer my messages earlier in the day.

• Krsto (10/5): Great value - Great landlord, kind lady always ready to offer help and assistance with anything you need. Excellent accommodation for a resonable price, perfect spot in Dubrovnik. Would like to go back again.
• Iain (9/5): Lovely location only 200m from the local beach. - Lovely location only 200m from the local beach, and 200m from a bus stop, above a restaurant on a busy strip. Brilliant balcony in our room, a great place to relax and watch the world go by. Free parking close by. A bus journey away from the old town, buses can be hit and miss due to traffic at certain times of day. Leave yourself plenty of time. Not for self-caterers, although they did provide a toasted sandwich maker! Not easy to find by car - just follow the hosts instructions - literally - and it works out in the end.

The accommodation isn’t walking distance from the old town but only a 15 min bus which was super cheap! Only €3 return! The area itself is next to sunset beach which lives up to the name! Would definitely recommend

Really really convenient for the Promenade, restaurants, the beach and the bus stop. The bed was large and very comfortable. Beware of hauling luggage and down the stairs if you have large rolling luggage. The key also likes to stick. The hot water heater is pretty tiny. All the coffee ammenities are there except coffee, so make sure to grab your own if you want this.
• Ni (7/5): Good - Ignoring the stairs issue, the location is great. The beach is nearby and there are many restaurants around. The villa is located between several pedestrian streets and has no direct access with a car. Depending on the direction you come from, you'll need to either walk up or down about 30 stairs with all your luggage. The room is clean but basic and could use a more modern look.

We checked in early which was great and Karloti got us an iron as there wasn’t one in the room The ladies left us a bottle of wine, some beers and some water which was a lovely touch Location was perfect, could walk to many places and east access for Ubers to the old town although it is within walking distance Very clean property and the hosts were available if we needed them. They also arranged for us to be collected from the airport. The driver was lovely, really chatty and told us about all the attractions on the way plus some really good restaurants too which was great No complaints, was greet
