• Grace (9/5): Immer wieder gerne und werde ich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen! - Das Frühstück, die Lage, das Personal, die Zimmer, die Dachterrasse - einfach alles war super! Was uns gefehlt hat ist Zahnputzgläser und ein Haarfön - aber das ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau!

• Cathrine Walla (10/5): - Vi elsket alt ved hotellet, det var kvalitet i alle ledd, fra nydelig frokost (selvom det var "basket" frokost, ble så positivt overrasket!) til personalet, til takterrassen. Rommet var stille, nydelig og god komfort i sengene og sengetøyet. Kul stil, boutique stil - calm luxury. Og sentralt. Vi gikk til Akropolis på 15 minutter om morgen, før det ble for varmt der. Fikk også gode tips til restauranter fra hotellet. Ikke alle falt i vår smak, men vi endte på Thes (som også var anbefaling fra hotellet) og som var helt fantastisk! Og kun 4 min fra hotellet. Dette er definitivt vårt hotell i Athen om vi kommer tilbake:)
• Faye (10/5): Perfect in every way - The location couldn't have been more perfect. The staff were super helpful. The check-in information was very clear. The breakfast in bed on a tray was so lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was fabulous! The roof terrace had the most amazing view of the Acropolis, stunning at night. The hot tub on the terrace was a lovely touch. You set the hot tub to heat up and come back to it but after over 3 hours waiting for it to heat up it was still freezing. However we understand why a small hotel would need to run the hot tub like this.

• Jaana (10/5): Erinomainen hotelli! Vahva suositus. - Hotellin tiimi teki taksivarauksen lentokenttäkuljetukselle valmiiksi molempiin suuntiin. Hotellin ohjeiden mukaisesti teimme sisäänkirjautumisen etukäteen. Myös uloskirjautuminen oli vaivaton ja nopea. Huone Ballerina oli pieni, siisti, puhdas. Moderni sisustus. Hyvä ja raikas huoneilma. Kiinnostavat valaisimet. Pienessä retroradiossa soi musiikki tullessamme huoneeseen. Tämä oli poikkeuksellisen miellyttävä ja uusi kokemus. Illat ja yöt olivat hiljaisia. Ikkunoissa oli moninkertaiset lasit. Kattoterassin jacuzzi oli ihana. Aamiainen vastasi ympäristöystävällistä periaatetta. Ei buffettia, vaan erillisen tilauksen mukaan valmistettiin aamiainen. Kiva, kun sai valita myös aamiaisajan. Kannoimme aamiaiskorin terassille, jossa oli miellyttävä nauttia aamiainen. Tarpeettomia joka päiväisiä pyyhkeiden ja lakanoiden vaihtoja ei tehty, kun laitoimme Do not disturb-kyltit oven ulkopuolelle. Erittäin ystävällinen, hymyilevä huomaavainen ja palvelualtis henkilökunta. Koko Moon and Stars tiimille lämpimät kiitoksemme!! Teitte matkastamme omalta osaltanne miellyttävän. • Daniela (10/5): Erwartungen wurden übertroffen - Der gesamte Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr hilfreich. Es wird wirklich an alles gedacht und es ist bis ins kleinste Detail perfekt. Sogar extra dunkle Handtücher für das Gesicht nach dem Abschminken liegen bereit. Das habe ich selbst in einem 5 Sterne Hotel noch nicht erlebt. Das Konzept mit dem Frühstück und das man sich am Vorabend alles aussuchen muss finde ich auch klasse. Wir haben fast alles durchprobiert in den 3 Tagen und alles war wirklich köstlich. Die beiden Mädels sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man hat hier keine Scheu etwas zu fragen oder um etwas zu bitten. Ganz toll, wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop, with stunning views of the Acropolis, and relaxing in the jacuzzi were truly the highlights of our stay. We especially appreciated the charming touch of the small radio playing jazz in the room, which quickly became part of our daily routine.

• William (10/5): I have found my place to stay in Athens - I have given the Moon and Stars 5 stars because it did exceed my expectations. The whole experience was perfect due to the location, the property itself which is delightful in design and decor and the wonderful Dominika and team that make it all work. For a truly wonderful boutique hotel experience I have no hesitation in recommending the Moon and Stars as the ideal stay for a trip to Athens. We arrived quite late to the hotel but the communication from Dominika was excellent and the self check in worked perfectly. The hotel was quiet and beautiful in its design, the room was very welcoming, with the radio tuned to some soothing jazz to help calm us on arrival! The breakfast were simple but brilliantly prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully, taken on the wonderful roof terrace in glorious March sunshine. If I return to Athens I will be staying here again. Thank you Dominika and team. For me everything was perfect

• Lacey (10/5): Home from home. - The location was great, close to a Metro station, restaurants and shops. They curated a list of local places to visit for dinner which was a lovely touch. The staff were so helpful and contactable by WhatsApp - saved us with a taxi strike in the city. Umbrellas for the torrid weather. Breakfast was great and convenient. Would love some more options as there 4 nights but was very happy with it and fully sated. Comfortable bed, very quiet, couldn't hear our friends at all next door. Nothing.

• Pascal (8/5): Emplacement idéal, personnel au top mais confort altéré par le bruit, l’odeur et la qualité des matelas - Emplacement top, surface généreuse de la chambre, roof top avec vue sur l’Acropole et personnel remarquable. Très bruyant malgré les double fenêtres à double vitrages. Il faut dire que des ouvriers travaillaient au marteau piqueur dans l’immeuble d’à coté. Mauvaise odeur dans la chambre quand on met la climatisation en fermant les fenêtres et matelas du grand lit trop mou. Et enfin absence d’omelettes ou œufs brouillés au breakfast.

• Schendel (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Location was perfect. Close to great bars, restaurants and cafes. The best of which were recommended by the receptionist. Hotel decor was fabulous, Jazzy art deco style, lovely boutique hotel. Mini bar prices very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent, on two mornings we had a breakfast to go which were both of great choice and quality. The roof top terrace had great views. We arrived early and the staff looked after us very well with the use of the terrace and a welcome coffee and tea until our room was ready. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

• Tetiana (10/5): Fabulous place for short getaway - The hotel was very close to all important touristic destinations. The room was clean and quiet. Roof terrace was a great place to relax and see the Acropolis. The stuff was very friendly and gave us a list of recommended places to eat, it was very handy. Our room didn’t have a window with any view so I wouldn’t stay in this room for long, but for a one nite it was absolutely perfect.

The rooms decorations are very special, the breakfast in the box includes everything you wish and the rooftop with the view and a small pool cannot be beaten.

Beautiful interior and a fabulous, green roof garden which was a lovely place for breakfast and a late drink, with views of the acropolis. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing really - pillows were a bit too big and firm for me, but that’s normal for most people.

Staff were lovely and gave us good recommendations for dinner and bars , all within a few minutes walking distance. Nice welcome of chocolates and a liquor Location was brilliant for the Acropolis. Rooftop terrace with Acropolis view and a hot tub , great after a day sightseeing. Loved the breakfast concept , you order what you would like the evening before and it comes in a box which you can have on the rooftop terrace or in your room , good quality . The last day we needed to catch an early ferry and they supplied a breakfast to go which was very much appreciated and delicious . Thank you Moon and Stars for a great 1st time trip to Athens , we would highly recommend you! Nothing at all
• Michaela (10/5): A perfect stay! - Where do I begin! It was the perfect stay! The details that is put in to make the guests’ time there comfortable, is amazing! The customer service is incredible. The bed is comfortable! The a/c works great! The shower is just right. The decor of the room and the common spaces are so well done and beautiful. Did I mention the rooftop, with the view of the acropolis. To top it all off….the breakfast! So good! It was the best meal of the day. Again, so well put together. We ate on our balcony or the rooftop. WiFi worked great! My daughter actually worked from there and had no problems. We walked everywhere! We have a suggestion: check out for afternoon tea or coffee The Hill restaurant, about 8 minutes from the hotel. Tarzan was a great bar to hang out at the end of the day, to enjoy a drink, play cards or just talk. Tarzan is across the street. If you like thrifting, the store next to the hotel has great second hand clothing from Paris and other places. I highly recommend to stay at Moon and Stars. You will not regret it! Nothing! Perfect stay!

You can make a choice from a menu, and it is good enough. Not a "Wow!" breakfast. It can get a bit noisy on the weekends, I think, but the room is well-insulated with double windows and double glazing.

• Michael (10/5): Amazingly friendly small boutique hotel - The breakfast concept works great! You put a list on your door and a box with the breakfast is delivered at the time you have choosen. Most of the rooms are sound proofed which is great since this is a busy city. The roof terrace is amazing, especially in the evening with the view of Acropolis. The room "Cloud Nine" is not as well sound proofed as the others. If that does not bother you then it is a great stay since it has it's own private terrace and jacuzzi! Others have noted that the entrance was a bit hard to find, I agree, but they offer images and instructions through WhatsApp prior to the visit so you should have no real trouble.

Everything about this place is beautiful, and everyone made me feel welcome! You won't want to miss the included breakfast, which is plentiful and delicious! I'd strongly recommend it if you're staying in Athens! Hoping tobe back!
• Michael (10/5): Amazing small boutique hotel - Great helpful staff that really made us feel at home. Location was perfect just on the edge of the more crowded areas but still easy walking distance to ”everything”. The Cloud 9 room is great with the private terrace and jacuzzi but not as sound proofed as the other rooms and quite small.
• Goodno (10/5): Phenomenal and very authentic type of stay! - The breakfast was true Greek cuisine. Everything was fresh and delicered right to the room which was amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, they treated us like family!

• Sonia (9/5): It was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again when in Athens. Attractive, conveniently located, with - Attractive and well maintained. Rooms are well equipped for comfort and convenience. Our room (Jack and Jill) did not have space for 1 small suitcase and 2 carry-ons, so we were tripping over luggage to move around from the bed to closet to bathroom.

• Katherine (10/5): Memorably lovely - Absolutely fabulous location with a view of the Acropolis, gives you a once in a lifetime experience. Walking distance to a festive area with bars and shops and 15 min Uber to historic district. It is quite busy on a nearby street but they provide earplugs. Stairs to the rooftop view would be hard for most elderly.
• Tenielle (10/5): - Intimate boutique hotel in a wonderful location. A short walk to eateries and bars. Nikoleta and team are very helpful and gave some wonderful recommendations. Great spot for couples.
