- John David (7/5): Good hotel but either stay or breakfast elsewhere - not worth it. - Although accessed up a small street just off a main thoroughfare the location is good within a 10-12 min walk from Osaka station. The staff provided a very good service and the hotel was comfortable and well air-conditioned. The hotel should be scoring an 8 or 9 out of 10, however sadly it fell short of that and with hindsight we would probably have chosen to stay elsewhere. The breakfast offering was a huge disappointment. Relative to what has now been quite a number of hotels we have stayed in during our trip in Japan, breakfast at the Zentis fell well below the standard expected both in what was offered and charged at an excessive rate. Minimal offering at 5 star banquet price!! Our stay was for 3 nights however we were so disappointed with breakfast on the first morning we chose to breakfast elsewhere which is not something we have ever done before.

- Margy (10/5): Fantastic! - The room was small but very functional with a great shower and a separate toilet with a washbasin. We loved the bar and lounge area. The hosts behind the bar were so friendly, and they made the most wonderful cocktails. The breakfast choice was really good, and the view from the dining room in the morning is so cute. We had dinner one night too, which was very good. Not a lot disappointed us in Osaka, a bit more storage space might have been nice, as we were travelling for a month and had two huge suitcases with us, we had to improvise here but that was not a huge problem.

In the room, I appreciate the lighting: a lot of natural light from the window but also well planned lamps that illuminated the room perfectly without being too abrupt. Another detail I appreciated was the multiple plugs to charge all the devices scattered around the room. Of course the room amenities were perfect for the level of the hotel. Great breakfast: even if it's a set meal, there's a choice between American, Japanese or vegan and a small but really good buffet is available. Despite the big smart TV, I couldn't connect to Netflix

Номер подходит для классических фотосессий в халатах, если это важно. Внизу можно сделать кофе и посидеть в стильном лобби. Рекомендую отель как и на 1 ночь, так и на более длительный срок. Я бы остановился тут ещё раз :)

First hotel we have stayed where you have to pay. - This boutique hotel is very pleasant and the room was very nice which we were surprised our king bed was so huge and lovely. The only thing wrong was they only had news channels on the TV and if you wanted to watch movies or anything else you have to pay for it.

- Sang Thi (9/5): Excellent oasis admist the awesome craziness of Osaka! - Hotel was clean, not just surface clean but clean! And it doesn't smell, we are very sensitive to that. In fact, the hotel smells great. It's quite a large hotel but had boutique feel. Our studio room was a good size, bed and pillows great, and amenities were good. We love having pajamas and slippers restocked daily. Shower was great - hot water and great water pressure. Hotel was quite far from main tourist attractions, but we like the neighborhood and it was 10 min walk from Osaka station and there are plenty of shops to look at if you want to spend time around the hotel. Staff was not overly friendly but they were helpful when we asked questions, and they recommended and set up a restaurant for us which is great service. They even changed it when we called to say we were running late. I will say hotel has a very Western vibe to it as opposed to Japanese feel - we love both. We would definitely stay again due to cleanliness, cool lowkey vibe, and amenities. Breakfast was disappointing and very expensive. Selection was limited and food was not great (both Western and Japanese versions), best part was the fresh fruit on buffet line. Lattes were excellent. Everything else about this hotel was pretty great so bad food was surprising. I would not get the hotel breakfast, go have it somewhere else and it will be more delicious and cheaper.

The room we stayed in had a very tiny bathroom, there was barely any space to put any toiletries which was disappointing as they had to be packed each time, or put in another location that wasn’t the bathroom. We also found the detergent from the washing machines in the laundry room gave us both an allergic reaction the day after using the washed clothes, but I had not seen anyone else say the same so it was probably us having sensitive skin.

- sarahbethxox (8/5): Dependable option in Osaka - A decent design hotel in a more quiet area of Osaka. Easily accessible by train, however it is about an 8 min walk from the nearest station if arriving at Shin-Osaka. Very Western-oriented, with a large bed and shower area. Comfortable and clean! A really cool amenity is that they have a fragrance bar for guests where you can choose from a curated array of luxury perfumes and colognes for your day out in Osaka. They also have a gym, lounge and restaurant on-site (which we did not get a chance to explore, but nice to have!)
- Shan (10/5): Comfortable hotel with great bar - Comfortable beds and pillows. Coffee and tea available downstairs all day at no charge. Great bar. Lots of small restaurants nearby.

- Stuart (7/5): Good - Size of room and layout was very good. Good location, train station, shops & restaurants near by. I really enjoyed the meal & cocktails I had from the Hotel restaurant & bar. Housekeeping were very noisy, banging into things in the hallways and rooms next door.
- Mikes1stworldproblem (10/5): Excellent hotel would recommend - Modern has a small-ish feel to it but seems to have a lot of rooms. Great traveller facilities peaceful ground floor lounge and second floor gym,laundry and importantly lounge bar with good food options for western teenagers. Hotel style is superb clearly a Northern European influence and staff really friendly. We took the connecting rooms for a family of 4. First is spacious and second a bit pokey but still ok. Lots of useful stuff in the room toothbrushes and so on.

Sayuka was particularly excellent as she helped us order some Japanese pillows and spoke to the rep of the company. Thank you! The bathroom could have been clean better as there was an odor.

- Monika (9/5): - Große geräumige Zimmer, ein gemütlicher Restaurant/Bar-Bereich, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gute Lokale nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt Zwischen Zimmer und dem sehr schönen Bad befindet sich ein Fenster, durch das man seinem Mitbewohner auf dem WC und beim Duschen zuschauen kann. Der Sinn dieser Einrichtung erschließt sich mir nicht ganz.

- Arthur Brett (9/5): 8,5 out of ten mainly because they lack of ac in one room other than 10/10 - Location was great staff was friendly. Lots of restaurants around really enjoyed our stay. We had the two room suite and for some reason one room we couldn’t operate the air conditioning. It was the room that got the morning sun so it was always hot. I don’t know why they couldn’t let us control the temperature we phoned. They said it on and then it randomly stopped and would get hot again. That was really my only complaint.
