• Adriana (10/5): - O quarto é espaçoso, limpo e bem organizado. A vista da varanda é espetacular. Lugar silencioso e perto do centro velho, de restaurantes e mercados. Ainda mais perto do teleférico. Foi uma estadia tranquila e agradável. Há muitas escadas pra chegar até a acomodação. Se você tem problemas de mobilidade, não conseguirá chegar.

Cucina molto attrezzata e bagno fornito di tutti i prodotti necessari. Presenti tra l’altro comodini, un grande armadio con appendiabiti, ripiani e cassetti, aria condizionata, molte prese, asciugamani (anche da cucina), tovaglia e tutto l’occorrente per cucinare. Letto comodissimo, con quattro cuscini grandi, due piccoli e coperte. Splendido il balconcino con tavolino e sedie, da cui si gode un panorama meraviglioso, il più bello di Dubrovnik: abbiamo fatto foto e riprese dall’ alba al tramonto. Gestione familiare attenta e accogliente: molto gradito il benvenuto con limonata fresca. I gradini sono affrontabili, ma è possibile arrivare comodamente vicino alla struttura con taxi o Uber. Grazie di cuore alla famiglia che ci ha accolti con attenzione infinita gentilezza . • Catherine (10/5): Fabulous stay, superb hosts - The balcony, the views, the cleanliness and the owner was fabulous 👌 The owner was so lovely, she was always there with fresh towels when we requested,and fresh juice after the run was very welcoming and needed ! The room had everything we needed , more spacious than the pictures! Perfect stay, perfect everything , thak you so much ! The steps are a lot esp after running a half marathon but manageable all the same !

• Samanta (10/5): Paradise - EVERYTHING. The locacion is superv! The 425 stairs that kept me fit...the bed. Best bed in an apartment ever. The small kitchen has everything, even a dishwasher. The shower was amazing. The balcony large enough to chill with that amazing view. Maria gave us even olive oil when we asked. Lemon tree there...so no need to purchased that!!!! Close to grocery store. The view from the balcony was just magical. We stayed 5 days. On the 2nd one, we understood that you have to do the stairs very slow...then...was easy. So nothing really. • evie (8/5): loved it would stay again - loved our stay, we arrived early and asked if we could drop our baggage off early the lovely host let us check in early for no extra charge. The room was a good size and the bed was super comfortable. The aircon was great also in the heat. be aware there's about 10mins worth of stairs going up a hill to get from the old town/ the beach to get to the apartment but we didn't mind just something to be aware off.

• Aleksandra (8/5): - Terrific view + balcony. The room was a bit dim, but I quickly received a desklamp on request. Comfortable bed. The host provided lemonade on the first day. Kitchenette area OK. The room seems bigger than on the photos. Grocery store nearby. Wifi was not the most reliable. One day it would cut a bit, another day it would be fine, and then there was one specific day when it did not function for most of the day. Contact with the hosts prior to arrival was not very quick. I wrote around two days before check in, no answer. Had to follow up after a day, and then did receive an answer. As well, it was only after I arrived at the apartment hat I was informed there is an easier way to the apartment, without so many steps (or, slightly less steps!). That kind of info could be provided before arrival. Shower would not fully close/did not fully drain. The colorful thing on the balcony, protecting from the sun - does not work properly. This was not explained to me on the first day. The apartment is not suitable for people who have heavy suitcases, or in general suitcases on wheels rather than backpacks, or with mobility difficulties.

• Chen (10/5): The highlight of our trip in Croatia - The view is fantastic. You can overlook at the old town day and night. The bed is more comfortable than most of the hotels. We were provided a free laundry. The lovely lady even folded our clothes. Thank you so much. Prepare for some steps/stairs, especially with big suitcase.

• Andrew (10/5): - Nice sized room. Balcony with incredible views over Dubrovnik and the sea. Host was very welcoming. Our host had explained to us there was no parking and it was a restricted area, and offered to arrange a transfer from the airport if we wanted one. The great views come at a cost of having to navigate a lot of steps so be prepared or just get a taxi/Uber up the hill. There is a shop and bar/cafe relatively close. Highly recommend staying here if visiting for a few days and don't want to pay the prices of staying in the old town itself.

• Susan (10/5): Best view and most modern studio apartment in Dubrovnik old town - This was the most modern, comfortable, and well appointed studio apartment! The view from the terrace is amazing—postcard ready. The only negative is that to reach such a view, there are many stair steps to get there! Each time I counted my numbers varied, but it’s at least 400 stair steps from the bottom of the hill—just outside the gate—to the apartment. Only you can decide if it’s worth getting that view, and living so comfortably, with a very gracious landlady! The fatigue factor in going up and down the steps to get into the old town. ( we are age 72 and 81–we did it, though!

The studio apartment was fairly well equipped to cook easy meals. The host was very sweet. Many stairs up from old town made it daunting to come and go easily during the day. If you don’t mind stairs out enjoy the workout it’s no problem.

Nessuna fotografia ripaga la vista di persona! Per raggiungere l'appartamento bisogna percorrere molti, molti scalini. È un dettaglio, non specificato, ma necessario per chi ha problemi importanti a deambulare; non adatto sicuramente a chi ha una disabilitá motoria.

Just be mindful that there are a lot of steps to the location. It wasn’t an issue for us personally. But you can have a taxi which takes you close to the entrance of you have any walking difficulties. But the view is so worth it!

We enjoyed sitting out with a cold beverage taking in the beautiful Adriatic and the old town. The steps are no joke. I’d say we’re a healthy couple 49/50, but those steps were wearing us out. The heat didn’t help. We eventually would walk down then uber back up. Much nicer. We would definitely go back. The host was extremely nice.

She got us Lemonade after seeing how beat we were from our travels and explained the best she could about everything we needed. The room has the best view of Dubrovnik. • Amanda (9/5): Nice studio apartment with incredible view! - This studio apartment was clean and had everything needed for a great stay (fully stocked kitchen, towels, wifi, air conditioning, eating area, great balcony). The view is absolutely stunning! The property is a little tricky to find since it says 13 (which is on the gate), but it’s through the gate and up stairs to #4. We met the host who greeted us with fresh juice! Perfect for a hot day and hiking all the stairs to get to the apartment. The property is straight up the hill from the Old Town, which is great for the view, but it is quite a trek up about 400+ steps to get to and from it. This wasn’t a problem for us, but if you aren’t in shape and/or can’t climb stairs this one might be tough to get to.
• Angela (10/5): Beautiful views! - Veranda, as the view was stunning. We spent an entire day sat enjoying that with the awning, which was a lovely touch and very helpful in the hottest part of the day. The room was cosy and practical, and the owner was very obliging and helpful. We knew there were going to be a lot of steps to walk back to the accommodation, and even though we like to think we're fit, it was quite a challenge at the end of a long day! It was only about 10 mins, but all uphill. There are gentler routes and you could get a taxi but even the last steps to the accommodation would have been be a lot of effort without Ivan (out airport transfer driver) carrying our bags up for us. However, we felt it was still worth it for the view, but be warned! The flat could have done with a few more helpful utensils for cooking in the kitchen. The info also said that toiletries were provided, but we only had kitchen and bathroom soap. To be fair, the owner Maria did ask if we had everything we needed, but we didn't mention it.

• Martin (10/5): Lots to see and do. Good for a break. - Super view. Loads to watch in the old port. Pretty secluded, generally quiet. Plenty eating places nearby, outside the old town. Ice cream places are a good feature, worth sampling. Note: book the taxi recommended by the property from the airport and back to the airport. A travel company taxi will not find the property. A lot of stone steps to the property, everywhere you go, you go down steps, a lot of steps and back up to get back. We got used to it and got fitter. Definitely not for the faint hearted, the heavy, any disablement. Eating in the old town is overwhelming, difficult to avoid scam restaurants. If a deal look too good to be true, it is. Resulting in poor food and terrible wine. Note: book the taxi recommended by the property from the airport and back to the airport. A travel company taxi will not find the property.

• Shelley (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean with fantastic large comfy bed. Tv, Kettle, good bathroom, friendly staff met us there on the day. Views were amazing with the balcony. Shop just down the road. Couldn't ask for anything more. I have mobility problems no fault off the appartment but way too many steps to get up to appartment from the roads. We only had back packs not sure if walking and suitcase would be a good. We cheated and got Taxi back up from the old town. I would get bolt taxi from Dock port to the appartment road before some steps.

We preferred the restaurants just outside the walls the best. - Without a doubt the best feature of this apartment is the awesome view of the Old City! The balcony overlooks the Adriatic and the Old City. With that said, you have to climb a number of steps to/from the Old City...but if in decent shape it is well worth it! Personal welcome to the apartment was also a plus.

Pack light as there are some stairs, but we thought totally worth it for the view. The hosts were very helpful - Would not hesitate to stay here again. I'd say fewer stairs but stairs are pretty common in Dubrovnik, so hard to avoid. 2 to 3 flights of stairs to get to the property from the road.

Not much for restaurants or shopping nearby, without walking down hundreds of steps. Both my wife and I are able to handle a lot of steps, but if you struggle with steps, this is not the place for you! Nothing - It was great for us!

• Daniel (10/5): I’d definitely stay here again. It’s close enough to walk down to the old town area and the room has everything you need - The view and the location were great. Also the owner and his mother were very hospitable and polite.
• Rosemarie (10/5): Incredible views! will definitely come back. - The amazing views was so worth the flight of stairs! The property is close to the old town with overlooking views which was incredible both in the morning and evening. Be ready with the stairs though, I suggest to pack very light. the taxis of course can go up the main street but you still have to drag your luggage up the last stairs towards the gate and then towards your room. It would have been nice to have some refreshments or little sweets in the room as a welcome touch. again, just a nice to have.

Apartment was spotless with great Aircon that came in handy as it was very hot outside.Yes there are steps but we booked the taxi from the airport with the owners and our driver Marinko assisted us with our luggage when we arrived as well as when we checked out. As for all the steps to come back from the old town we took ubers from the ploce gate which brought you just below the apartment and from there the steps were very doable. The price depending on the time of day was anywhere from 8-12 euros. Owners were extremely friendly. loved our stay. nothing

• Sandeep (7/5): Nice place to stay in Dubrovnik - View from the apartment. Very Friendly host. Was willing to accommodate early check in at 10 AM. Nice and clean apartment . The apartment overall was great. For the price I had expected some shampoo, soap and conditioner. Maybe little bit more amenities in the kitchen like coffee, sugar and such. Again if someone was staying longer they could do this on there own but most visitors come Dubrovnik for 2 to 3 days. having to go out buy these items in small quantity was a hassle. Hike up to the apartment was tiring when you have had a long day. We ended up using Uber on our way back up.

• Macaulay (10/5): Amazing host and view - highly recommend - This property was amazing! I would highly recommend staying in this location as the view made our trip! In my opinion it is better than staying within the city walls as you get to see the city from a different (and better) angle. The host was great and made us feel at home straight away. The facilities were great and just what you need! Please be cautious if you have any issues with walking that there is a lot of steps to the flat (however can get an Uber). We walked every day without issue and it is 1000% worth it for the view - we spent hours on the balcony having drinks and making memories. If you are curious whether to get a flat in this location or closer to the walls then I would highly recommend this location Nothing it was great!
