• Charlotte (10/5): Super séjour - Franchement, super expérience au Glendower View ! Le logement était vraiment top : une chambre confortable, avec une salle de bain immense (gros coup de cœur), et un petit-déjeuner hyper copieux et délicieux pour bien commencer la journée. Le personnel était adorable, toujours disponible et très accueillant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. On a aussi eu la chance d’organiser une demi-journée à Soweto avec Keith, et c’était clairement un moment fort du séjour. L’excursion est totalement flexible : on peut choisir ce qu’on veut voir avec lui, ce qui est un vrai plus. On a pu visiter Vilakazi Street, les tours de Soweto, et surtout en apprendre énormément sur l’histoire de l’Afrique du Sud, l’apartheid et Nelson Mandela. C’était passionnant et très enrichissant. Autre point super pratique : Keith nous a même raccompagnés directement à l’aéroport, ce qui simplifie vraiment l’organisation. Enfin, l’emplacement est idéal, avec plein de très bons restaurants accessibles à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Seul regret : ne pas être resté plus longtemps qu’une nuit ! Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter. RAS

• Tshepo1984 (7/5): A wonderful stay in Edenvale. - The easy access to the property. It is not far away from the major routes. Also close to the shopping centres. You can walk to the shops. It is easy to access the guest house at all times with no hindrance. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. Unfortunately could not eat the breakfast but the food options are decent. Not much.
• Tobias (8/5): Zimmer waren sauber, Lage und Sicherheit gut, doch ansonsten wenig glanzvoll. - Da sich die Einrichtung in einem abgeschlossenen Areal befindet, hat man ein sehr sicheres Gefühl. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und es gab sehr wenig Auswahl.

The night staff were very accommodating of my early morning check out as well as helping me order uber eats to their property. The property itself was comfortable and quiet and had a hot running shower. It is in a nice secure neighbourhood just behind a large golf course. I would stay here again.

• Daniel (9/5): Kurz und gut 😌 - Wir haben nur unseren letzten Tag der Reise in dieser Unterkunft verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, um den Roadtrip entspannt ausklingen zu lassen und in Ruhe auf unseren Heimflug zu warten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr entgegenkommenden Late Check-out, der ohne Aufpreis möglich war – wir durften das Zimmer bis 17:00 Uhr nutzen, was bei unserem Nachtflug äußerst angenehm war. In fußläufiger Entfernung befindet sich zudem ein Kaufhaus mit mehreren Restaurants, die wir sehr empfehlen können. Ein kurzer, aber wirklich erholsamer Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! -

• Ebrahim (10/5): Everything was perfect. Friendly and accommodating staff. - Good location, near eating places and easy enough for delivery drivers/ride hailing drivers to find. Fuel station as close as could possibly be. Easy access to highways. The manager reached out days before we were due to arrive with advice on how best to access the facility and with contact details for after hours staff should we need it. We would've liked more bathroom amenities (soap/shower gel) in the room. Since it was 2 of us in the room, the amount provided wasn't enough. When we asked, they gladly gave us more but 2 of each from the beginning would've been better :-)

Perhaps fresh muffins or croissants could be served with a continental option. The property needs a little work. Small things need attention like window frames. However overall a lovely stay.

They were very obliging with our meal requests, providing a braai and salads for our group of 13 travellers. Excellent breakfast provided, overall very happy with our stay. There were a couple of power outages through the night and the next morning.
