- fayeb000 (10/5): Great stay at Colors - I visited the Colors hotel for a 4 night stay in Athens with my friend. The dream loft room was great to match our needs for the trip. The room was bright, clean and comfortable for our stay and with the dream loft we also had a little more space in the room from each other. It was perfect for 2 people but maybe more of a squeeze for a larger group though. The staff at the hotel were welcoming, friends and really helpful and there to help with anything we needed. It was great that the hotel encourages sustainability where by skipping housekeeping daily you can opt out and be awarded with a free drink. There’s a nice space outside and in the lobby for waiting and /or enjoying drinks and breakfast if you choose it and the surrounding area offers so many cafes, bars and restaurants in walking distance and not too far to walk to the more central spots either including nearest metro (Omonia) is approx 7 mins walk.

Cleaning could have been better and the shower door was defective - not a big issue but points to a need for staff to pay more attention to room conditions.

We paid for the junior suite and it absolutely stank of sewage. We reported it and nothing was done - apart from opening our balcony door. The room was not cleaned properly and I could see hairs from previous guests in the bath tap. The tap mixer also fell of in my hand as I was washing my hands. definitely not worth the money at all.

Met name de badkamer. Een goede douche blijft voor onze begrippen altijd een functie die zeer matig tot slecht is. Of geen warm water of een kapotte douche. Overstromende inloopdouche waarbij de hele badkamervloer onderloopt. Tja, het is maar wat je gewend bent. Zie hierboven

- Sakis (8/5): - Η ευγένεια και η προθυμία του προσωπικού!! Ήθελα πιο επιμελή καθαριότητα στο μπάνιο! Υπάρχει μια ρωγμή στο κάθισμα της λεκάνης της τουαλέτας, εκεί ειναι εγκλωβισμένη τρίχα! Με την είσοδο στη τουαλέτα το είδα. Προσπάθησα να τη βγάλω αλλά δεν έβγαινε! Θέλει προσοχή στη καθαριότητα λοιπόν για να μη χαλάει όλη αυτή η μεγάλη και καλή προσπάθεια που γίνεται στο ξενοδοχείο! Το πρωινό θα περίμενα να είναι μεγαλύτερο και με περισσότερες επιλογές για ξενοδοχείο 4☆. Αυτό θα πρέπει να το κατανοήσει ο ιδιοκτήτης!

- eli (9/5): - חדר מרווח שקט במיקום מצויין. המקלחת היתה נהדרת. ארוחת בוקר טובה. ביום העזיבה יצאנו לטיול רגלי והשארנו את הציוד באחסון במלון - השרות והיחס היו מצויינים והשאירו הרגשה נעימה. נראה שהתחזוקה אינה טובה והנקיון אינו יסודי. בחדר הרחצה היה מוצר פתוח שהכיל רבע בקבוק , איש הצוות בקבלה לא הצליח להשלים את החסר. מתלה מגבת רופף שהתנתק מהקיר.

- Roam60466870571 (10/5): Outstanding - I just brought my highschool class to The Colors hotel. It was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. They were organized, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options, and a barista making hot drinks on order. The staff provided tips, ideas, and soon befriended my students, who loved trying out Greek words and phrases. I had several extra requests for special needs students, and emergency situation, and having to do things like pack lunch bags at 3:30 AM. When we had early morning departures, they provided bagged breakfasts to go. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself is quirky, fun, and just right in terms of walking distance to major sites. The area isn't fancy, and looks run-down (as does much of Athens), but the hotel itself and the area stores were just fine. Highly recommend.

- 586qendriml (2/5): Stay away!!! - I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The lack of air conditioning made the room almost unbearable, especially at night. It was hot, stuffy, and impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Opening the window didn’t help much due to noise. The breakfast was equally underwhelming. The selection was extremely limited, and the quality of the food was poor. Items tasted stale, and there was little effort to keep things fresh or well-stocked. It certainly did not meet even basic expectations. Overall, this experience was far below what I would expect from a hotel. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

- Artur (8/5): Good for short stays to reach city center of Athens and price to quality is fair! - Location is great and there are two restaurants just opposite. Whole area maybe it’s not the most beautiful but you can rach Plaka and Acropolis on foot Building is well decorated but it’s old. Elevators can take up to 3 person or one with huge luggage. We were located on 7th floor so the elevator equipments was noisy. But those are just minuses, not critical issues.

The staff were very responsive with our questions ahead of our trip. We were proactively upgraded to a room with a patio which we appreciated and used. The size of the room was really spacious which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend it!
- Ilana (10/5): I had an incredibly heartwarming stay at Colors - I HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT COLORS! Angela and the team of about 20 (I met most of them over my 10-day stay) were all top-notch. It’s common to have a great team with a few “so-so” members—but not at Colors. Every person I met, from the manager to the housekeeper, maintenance crew, and barista, was gracious and helpful. I usually like to stay in different neighborhoods when I’m in Athens, but for my trip next year, I’m already planning to stay at Colors again. The location is excellent—less than a ten-minute walk to the metro, with plenty of shops nearby, including what felt like 5,326,249 bookstores (thanks to the nearby universities!). I chose this location because it was a five-minute walk to my Greek class. (Side note: I received so much encouragement from the Colors team in my learning—many even became helpful teachers and cheerleaders!) And because it’s not in the Plaka area, restaurant prices in the neighborhood were very reasonable—and the food was delicious. The photos online accurately reflected my room. I stayed in a Deluxe Suite, which was spacious, and my friend’s standard room was impressively sized as well. And buffet-just perfect. By day 2 they knew how I liked my Greek coffee. Thank you to the Colors team for your smiles, help, encouragement, and outstanding service—τα λέμε σύντομα!
- Petra (8/5): Perfekt für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Athen – tolle Lage und praktisch. - Zweckmäßige Ausstattung, zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig; unglaublich nettes Personal Booking hat als Ausstattungsmerkmal einen Parkplatz angegeben. Leider ist das ein Fehler. Für 15 Euro/Tag kann man das Auto in einem Parkhaus abstellen.

- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional Hotel stay in Exarcheia - Staff were amazingly personable & super friendly to deal with. Even the bar staff were chatty, & I felt like staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable & had everything I needed. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for me. The room was really lovely for a business exec suite. I had to stay here because my flight had been cancelled, & the hotel made it worthwhile for this stay. The rain shower was really amazing & the bed was so so comfortable.

- Yvonne (8/5): - Sauberes Zimmer, bequeme Matratzen, gutes Frühstück, kommt man allerdings nicht direkt zu Beginn waren die gebratenen Sachen bereits kalt. Es fehlt eine Möglichkeit sein Gepäck vernünftig zu verstauen. Mit 4 Personen ist das nicht gut möglich. Einer der Hotelangestellten war beim ersten Frühstück sehr unfreundlich, weil er der Meinung war wir hätten kein Frühstück für die Kinder gebucht. Es stellte sich als Systemfehler raus. Schön wäre auch Frischkäse für das Frühstück und geschnittenes Obst.

- Cynthia (6/5): Good location and staff, but below 4-star expectations - The hotel has a very convenient location, close to an underground station, which made getting around Athens easy. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, always happy to provide recommendations and assist with organising transport and tickets. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was very good with a wide variety of options. I also appreciated the shower, which had excellent water pressure and consistent temperature. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, the facilities felt somewhat outdated and a bit run down, even though the design is colourful and modern. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness could have been better. The WiFi connection in the room was weak and unreliable. Although we stayed in a suite, the space felt crowded and the furniture appeared worn, which detracted from the overall comfort.
