Guest Reviews
- Nicholas (2/5): - Seems to be where the homeless live. Not worth saving money. Stayed one night then left for the doubletree without caring for a refund.
- rosalie (2/5): - This property is disgusting it’s not a hotel it’s a slum motel!!! Disgusting Expedia needs to remove this property asap!!! People live there the area is horrible and not safe the rooms are disgusting and old !! To be honest I was scared I didn’t even check in I called Expedia and got a full refund back!!
- israel (2/5): - Not clean
- johnsF8581OP (10/5): Great place to stay - Spacious Rooms and the staff are very friendly! Would definitely recommend for extended stays! Isabella is a great manager! Great location right off of I-4 and near shops and restaurants! Have been here over a month and have no complaints at all.
- Marissa (2/5): - I was stupid and didn’t read the reviews. Should have left as soon as we checked in but we were only gonna be there for a few hours. Honestly almost called Expedia to complain about them advertising this property. The rooms are HORRIBLE, VERY dirty, terrible upkeep with maintenance and health/safety. I wish I never booked it to save a few dollars. I still feel like I’m gasping for fresh air. Only giving it a 1 star for each because I have to
- Alex (2/5): - Toilet didn’t work. Surprised this place is still open.
- Maria (2/5): Terrible hotel - The hotel was awful. I only made the reservation because we needed something near the restaurant in Winter Park that we were celebrating our sons birthday at. The price was the best around and I know why that is. It looked like a welfare hotel and there were a couple of roaches in the bathroom that I killed. I will never stay there again.
- Travis (2/5): - Bugs in the room, cars on blocks in the parking lot, etc. avoid!
- Veronica (2/5): - There are roaches and the clean lady was doing noise before 11 am
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would not stay again - If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The room was filthy—stains on the bedding, hair in the bathroom, and a general smell of mildew. I did not feel safe at all during my stay, as the locks on the door felt flimsy, and there were sketchy people lingering around the property. To top it off, loud music blasted throughout the night, making it impossible to get any rest. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs!
- mercedesrW7745GI (2/5): Horrible - If I could give a 0 star I will I checked in at 2am and once I got to my room my door was open and once I entered my room was filthy and disgusting it was so cold and I was exhausted and did not feel safe at all to come back outside at that time all the manger Isabella could say was that she could give me a discount for another night I would never stay there again in my life it was so dirty stay away
- Kiara (6/5): - Place is dirty mold everywhere had my room switched due to dime baggy sand trash stuff in the toilet plus the toilet was just broken all togther
- Beatriz (4/5): - Roaches in the bathroom. Room smelled of cigarette smoke and musty.
No security latch on door.
Will not stay here again or recommend.
- Edward (2/5): No healthy - Roaches and insects present and broken toilet
- Brian (2/5): - The hotel is old and had many roaches. I changed rooms and each room had more roaches. The bathroom had mold in the shower and was not clean rooms 245 and 253. The ice machine was dirty too. I took a video of the roaches if necessary.
- Marshciene (6/5): - Roaches ¡
- KEENAN (4/5): - 4 pages of disclaimers including conditions not suitable for sleeping.
- Carlos (2/5): Worst experience ever - The worst experience we have ever had. The hotel should be inspected by Health Authorities. Roaches everywhere. This should not be advertise by Hotels.com
- Rafael (4/5): - Roaches
- Debra Ann (2/5): Disgusting - THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE STAYED. Roaches, the SMELL WAS HORRIBLE, THE SMOKE ALARM BEEPING ALL NIGHT. Broken shower walls, filthy, refrigerator was gross. I killed like 8 German roaches. The entire place, building, check in was so disgusting filthy. Light bulbs out as well.
Horrible bed. Thank GOD i went to an event slept 3 hours and ran out.
A place NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
- Michael (2/5): - There were cockroaches in the unit. There were people yelling next door. Cops were called to attend an altercation at a neighbouring unit. Car was almost broken into. The place smelt like smoke. It was a non-smoking room, but the walls were yellowed. I checked out a day early because it was unsafe to stay there. I asked the front desk for compensation and they told me they could not do anything.
- Elrinda (2/5): - Roach infestation! Room was disgusting! My family and I had to find another hotel to stay at! DO NOT STAY HERE!
- Jehovani (4/5): - No Housekeeping services
Cucarachas everywhere
Never change toallas
I was renting by a day I understand they do their own way when renting weekly or monthly
- YingRou (2/5): - S*** hole
- Amanda (2/5): - Had a reservation for 3 days and only stayed one day due to feeling unsafe and it was dirty
- Tyesha (10/5): - The staff and pool are amazing. The rooms are big and spacious
- Tyesha S (10/5): - I like the staff, the rooms are big and spacious and the pool is amazing
- Gabriela (10/5): - Good hotel
- Gabriela (10/5): - I love countryside since 2013 but is getting old and a lot of roaches
- joebA8457XC (2/5): Health risk - Tired driving had to rest this place was super close by me , I got the room at 2 am , I went strait to bed woke up at 6 am cus I had roaches on on mouth the whole room was infested, every place I look had mad roaches, to make matter worth went to use the toilet which had no water, I went to the office and ask for my refund and to use a toilet , Isabella said no refund no toilet, horrible morning didn’t even get my rest ,
Service was horrible, I think that hotel is a health risk! Health department should be notified
- Carebare4 (2/5): Do not ever think about staying at this filthy rat-ridden rotten prejudice Hotel slumlord Liz the manager is two-faced liar & ca - Filthy, dead rats that were in the bottom of the oven for months there were cockroaches everywhere dead in the closets only two of the burners on the stove worked the floor was filthy the walls had blood on them the back porch had no screen on the window and people let their dogs defecate back there so when you open the window the smell of dog s*** was in your room they never cleaned the place was a filthy rotten mess and there were no white people staying in that hotel because Liz the manager is Latino and she's prejudiced against white people and kicked me out for complaining about the dirty hotel and how filthy it was for two dead rats to be in the bottom of my oven for months to where the bodies had disintegrated I wouldn't let my worst enemy or a dead zombie Corp stay in this hotel it needs to be shut down by the health department and for $580 a week it's an absolute criminal ripoff
- markpT3294TG (2/5): bad service - Later after I checked in I noticed that there was no shower curtain and I let the front Know and she would not do anything about it
Then the toilet would not flush and let the girl at the front desk and she would not do anything about it.
I asked to be moved to another room and she no.
- nashnash-1221 (8/5): Thank you Liz - I have been here for over 6 months now , Staff related , My only to go person is Liz, she has always been patient with us , always listens to concerns.
Clean related they should work on that , They just seem understaffed on housekeeping.
Liz 10/10 always
- U2185KPheidia (2/5): Nasty - Thee most gross place I have ever stayed. The walls have guck god only knows w what. It is almost like they think it’s ok to treat people like animals. I have seen barns w less pathogens. 70$ a night…. Crazy!!!! I was trying to be open minded but my tv I requested. To be fox and that was 4 hrs ago… stay away… I’ll probably throw my clothes im wearing away…
- lisamariemm (2/5): HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! - Worst hotel EVER.
The latino security guy was kinda nice at first but all he does is talk. He dont actually does his job cause it has been some fighting the 3 nights I was there and he told me he couldn't do nothing. I thought he was the security?
Front desk staff was something else too.
The manager is VERY RUDE. I honestly dont know how someone like her can work as front desk agent. The same goes for the night shift girl, Adriella or something. Very unprofessional, rude. If she hates her job that much she shouldnt be working there. The other girl who covers for her when shes off, a tattooed girl I guess Isabell was very nice to me and my family though.
Anyway never again
- 183evelynj (2/5): Monthly renter - I stayed at the countryside inn checked in Jan 6 due to needing a place to stay due to having a eviction. The tenants allowed me to check in paying 1815.00 for a month and the billboard says 999.00 that's a big difference in pricing especially for a homeless person but the staff didn't inform me that with a eviction you can only stay 28 days and you have to check out for 24 hours and then you could check back in until it was time for me to pay again if I didn't go to pay a few days earlier I would've have been in a bad situation to checkout on the 3rd to only find out I had to checkout. So inconvenience to people struggling in life and the staff have no remorse for ripping people off and taking there deposits not to mention the place is not clean what so ever the bugs are coming in from the doors having cracks to outside and staff not cleaning properly..the maintenance guy that's Spanish and slim seemed to be high on the job or intoxicated..this is ridiculous and shouldn't be happening to people experiencing hardship. I'm reporting this hotel to channel 9. The staff lady or property manager name Liz is not people ready her energy is not customer service oriented. And well not needed countryside needs to be investigated there staff especially and price gouging is ridiculous
- larheak (10/5): LaRhea Keaton - I love living here the staff is awesome. The rooms are big and affordable. The beds are comfortable and big. I love being in the pool when it’s hot outside. It’s all around a great place to live short or long term. Mrs Liz & Mrs. B is the best.
- negeratao2021 (2/5): Run don't walk unless you're desperate I was desperateA 1 for review is too kind - My daughter and her 2 babies and I needed to stay due to a wait for her apartment the first room they put us in was awful and dangerous the maintenance made the office move us because of the babies and ceiling was coming down as in any minute . We moved down to 193 it was horrid not cleaned at all they do the bare minimum my grandson found a needle you know the kind doctors use found it in between the mattress found a bunch of other stuff too we checked out Tuesday 10/12/21 and they are now refusing to give back our deposit gave my daughter 50 out of 250 ??,?????? These people are awful the clerk took her time with checking me out I told to hurry due to 2 babies that were in the car hot she told me (with her long dirty looking gold nails ) thats your problem in other words she didn't care I'm calling the health department the office in Tallahassee that allows them to do business and the BBB to file a complaint i aldo put a review about the dirt ,the Roaches on Google trip advisor i cant believe you have this place on your site and the good reviews are suspect because the place doesn't even look like the pictures , besides all that I lost a dollar in the soda machine was told they'll write my name and room number on the book when the soda man comes they will return my dollar well no deposit returned no dollar the managers name is Liz after reading the Google review (a week before we checked out ) she says ill discount your next weeks stay due to the needle ,dirt ,Roaches that didn't happen because we checked out again I say no deposit, no dollar nothing returned to us this place is nasty unless you like sleeping in a slum
Period
- chevondreaw (10/5): Monthly - Hello ..... I am writing this Message to ask what is the total price for a room and the exact price to stay there monthly and do you guess accept monthly stay in or do you guess accept payment for weeks
- robertcA9677CQ (10/5): A good place to live - I have lived here for 3 years as a monthly the place is built great I lived in Orlando from 69 on this is built strong the rooms are big and I have never seen no bugs the rooms are clean the people giving a bad review want to try to get a free room that's there problem
- John L (6/5): - Not a great hotel or area
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not safe!
- danielhF1254BL (2/5): Terrible hotel / No refund no matter how dirty room is... - Waited outside a line to check in hotel. While I was waiting I notice many homeless people around the hotel inside and outside. There were even on the line to check in as well. As soon as I was checking into my room, there were a few homeless men in front of my room door. I dont know if the hotel had security, but it wasnt a good experience. I could not even take a shower in my room for a night. Please do not rent a room untill they clean up the place inside and out. Very unhealthy.
Comment from L.Berrios - front desk manager. i notice all they do is copy and paste their response. Dear Guest ; We apologize for any inconvinient you had at the time of your stay, thank you for the review we will addressed and correct any issues....They are rip offs. Trust me , do not rent at this hotel. They will not refund your money no matter what....
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property should not be listed at all for tourists. This is a flop house for crack addicts and prostitutes. Very dangerous. It should be illegal to advertise this property on any resource such as Expedia. This is how tourists get killed! I'm very upset. I'm a woman traveling alone and had to suddenly drive 1 hour south to stay with family at the last minute.
- Justin (2/5): - Garbage
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This old antiquated facility should be condemned, and torn down. The floor was dirty, I spotted roaches in my room, the air conditioner had a musty odor, in general the worst place that I have stayed.

- Paul (2/5): - Overall just a dirty place...unfortunately we paid up front for two nights and wanted to check out immediately but of course the staff said NO REFUND.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - It was ok
- Greg (4/5): More like low rent ghetto living. - Had to sign a lengthy waiver about no bbqueing, partying, committing felonies, etc. On property. Get to room, no carpet, all tile. And all tile is wet with condensation. Apparently, the AC units dont work so well. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. On the bright side, hot water did work and toilet did flush.
- Sam (2/5): The worst hotel we have ever been too - This hotel is the worst we have ever seen. Its honestly horrific the condition it is in.
- Nothappy (2/5): - I would not recommend this place what so ever to my worst enemy. This place looks nice in the pictures but once you get there it looks like a ran down hotel. It even has on the property when u pull in no pictures or recording on the property but they are recording you. This place I swear to u looks like a drug/Prostitution motel!
- Timothy (10/5): - It was peaceful.
- Jeffmiller (2/5): - The skirt on the box frame has lots of visual bodily fluids and is very disgusting. Room smells bad and sink counter is broken. Run down and the pictures on the site are very very misleading.
- Elizabeth (2/5): Better to sleep in your car. - Wow yeah I didn't look hard enough at reviews. Very much like low income housing. People handing outside smoking, screaming across the parking lot, kids running amd screaming. The whole front entrance is a construction zone and it's hard to get into. You have to initial on an entire page of rules to stay there like it's a rent by the hour place.
Security peep hole was filled in, AC unit pulling away from wall and a piece of host fell out of the bottom sheets when I checkes for bugs
- Ggc (2/5): - Not a nice place to stay. Our first room they put us in was dirty. The sink, toilet, tub.
They put us in another room that was better.
I will not stay they again
- Veronica (8/5): Satisfied - Okay stay for one night
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and peaceful
- Christopher (2/5): - This should not be considered a hotel...low income aparments and housing more like it
- EddieJohnson (2/5): - Very disgusting. Unprofessional. And crawling with critters!!!
- Refund (2/5): - This has got to be 1 of if not the worst hotels in the city. Roaches and lack of cleaning is extra heavy. Ain't nuthin on point and you are treated as if you're in jail. Expedia really need to consider booking people here.
- Ertjn (8/5): Good for what it is - It is not the best and it's not the worst. I like it. I have not had any issues when I was there. Front desk people were nice and helpful. It is more of an extended stay hotel but they let u know that up front. That way it is up to u if u want to stay or not.clen rooms to
- Janiyab1 (2/5): not a good hotel theses pictures are very nice compare to the actual room and property itself - room had roaches in it the bath tub was dirty i had to ask the front desk for a broom and then when she give me the broom she had to hold on to my id. but the front dest clerks where very helpful and nice. the rooms just needs a total cleaning and make over and pest control.
- ishaunam (10/5): My view - It’s very comfortable and affordable for all family’s and the staff are amazing that work here.i have to stayed a little longer and I know I will be fine and comfortable. The rules are very sample to to follow and kids are safe
- Nay1229 (10/5): Enjoyed my visit! - This hotel is close to downtown Orlando. Just where I needed to be for an event. The staff was very nice gave good direction, and was very pleasant. I had a room near the pool, the room was clean I really have nothing bad to say. Will definitely come back
- RRWC (8/5): Countryside inn and suites on lee rd - I would just like to say that yasmin in the front office is the best she has very good customer service, and she help me with a few things, I gotta say the she good at what she do, and if you haven’t stayed there you should.
- PeterHolt123 (10/5): Excellent stay - I came here as a last minute resort because the other hotel that I booked at, had completely cancelled my reservation. The staff treated me highly with respect and professionalism. I wouldn’t have expected outstanding customer service from an extended stay hotel. The rooms here are quite nice and very quiet. The next time I’m in town, I’ll be sure to stay here again.
