• Monika (10/5): - Świetna lokalizacja, w samym centrum starego miasta. Gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. Załatwił transport z lotniska, czekał na przyjazd i pomógł z bagażem. Na miejscu czekała nas mila niespodzianka w postaci słodkości oraz napojów (wody i soku). W nocy jedynie dobiega hałas z zewnątrz.

Accueil, service et nettoyage impeccables (horaires check in/out souples, literie et serviettes changées durant le séjour, vin de bienvenue et bulles de nouvel an :-). Seul petit regret, le four ne fonctionnait pas mais à part cela tout était parfait, c'est un excellent logement pour visiter Dubrovnik !

• Aditya (9/5): Great apartment in Dubrovnik old city - Well kept property, and very close to Pile Gate. The house had all the amenities that we required. It’s also quite spacious and well maintained. Our host was very helpful with getting the luggage up and down the steps. Thankfully, there aren’t too many for this apartment. The only complaint would be slow WiFi. But if you’re out most of the day, that’s not too much of an issue.

The washing machine was a bonus -especially after travelling for some time. A great deal of thought had been given to ensure guests had a good stay. The bedsheets could do with updating.

• Shantanu (10/5): - The owner of the apartment, who stays upstairs, is a very kind man; he personally came to collect our luggage at the bottom of the street as there quite a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment, and saw us off at 530 am in the morning! The apartment is located in an absolutely prime part of the Old Town of Dubrovnik, you literally climb down 2 flights of stairs and are on the Stradun, everything worth seeing is just a 5-6 minute walk away (the walls, the palace museums, monasteries, cable car, etc.). The apartment itself is very nice and spacious, well-equipped with modern amenities including cooking stove and other kitchen appliances, 2 TVs, a washing machine, and even a bidet for those who need one. There are beach and wash towels a plenty and the owner has also generously stocked it with water, juice and sweets. All in all, a wonderful 2 day stay in Dubrovnik which in this apartment. Nothing at all, it was well beyond our expectations!

He has kept our luggage for us. He has made sure that there was everything we needed. He even left drinks and sweets for us. He provided beach towels. There are toiletries provided. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. He provided an extra duvet when needed. The air conditioning is very good. The location is amazing! Excellent apartment would definitely recommend! Nothing

Apartment is spacious and host was very helpful! He made sure we had what we needed to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The stairs but I know they are are part of the old town’s charm.

He gave us a tour and lest us know how to use the features in the flat such as the washing machine and air conditioning. Host was also attentaive and made sure we were ok with our flat. N/A

Communication was excellent with the owner and his help in getting the luggage up the steps was invaluable. The apartment is equipped with everything you need may need and is spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. Everything about the Old Town is expensive but this place makes exploring so convenient and it is lovely to dive back to for a recharge before setting out again. The beach is 15 minutes walk and beach towels are provided. If you can’t manage steps this apartment isn’t for you , but then, neither is a visit to Dubrovnik!

Karla organised for us transfer from the airport to the property, so everything was smooth and easy, as we landed after 10pm. At the end of our stay she also helped us to arrange a transfer from Dubrovnik to Montenegro as this was our second part of the holiday. Everything was perfect during short stay
• Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - The communication and assistance provided with check-in was superb. The manager lived in the apartment above and would immediately rectify any problems if any occurred. The apartment was perfect for my wife and myself; it's loxation was in the historic center on a relatively quite street. Living in the historic center gives you the opportunity to explore Dubrovnik in the early morning hours before the massive crowds descend into the old town that severely dampens it's ambience. The apartment was perfect for two people.

Very well equipped, great shower and bathroom facilities, washing machine, well equipped kitchen. Right in the heart of the old town, close to minimarket for groceries. Host was very welcoming and helpful and couldnt do enough for us on arrival and departure. The whole apartment was spotless and very well cared for. Old town prices for food and drink can be expensive - be aware of restaurants offering "Daily Deals" . Airport prices for food and drink were quite expensive and very limited choice.

It had all the things you forget to bring. Great service from the greeting guy upstairs he even helped with the cases down the steps when we left. One of the best places I’ve stayed 😃 There are a few inevitable steps to the property but hey, you’re in the old town.

It was in a great location close to many restaurants and easy access to everything in the old city. The hosts were very accommodating with assistance in carrying our bags up and down the steps. Nothing, everything was perfect.

• Judith (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in the old town and within easy walking distance to all attractions, restaurants etc. The owner organized an airport pick up for us and the manager helped us with our baggage to and from the apartment which was excellent service. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well equipped. We would thoroughly recommend Apartment Maris as convenient, comfortable and well located accommodation for up to 3 people in the old town of Dubrovnik. Should we be fortunate enough to return to Dubrovnik we would definitely stay there again. To access the apartment there are around 40 steps to climb with your luggage. We were incredibly grateful to the manager for the help he gave us to get our luggage to the apartment

The place itself is a surprisingly decent size, very clean, with the amenities you generally want. The owner was friendly, helpful, and eager to do whatever it took to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
• David (10/5): Don’t miss this one! - Absolute perfection. Every possible convenience and air conditioning worked really well. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and clothes pegs to do like a local and hang washing out the window! Close enough to main gate but the double glazed windows shut out all noise. Very helpful host completed a perfect few days stay. Between my wife and I we can’t think of a single dislike.

The host,Sergan (not sure of spelling) was friendly and very helpful. The apartment was spotless and he had tea/coffee etc in the kitchen. It’s in a great location. I would highly recommend this apartment.

• Pooja (8/5): Very good - location is amazing, apartment is super clean, spacious, hosts were ready to welcome you even in the middle of the night, they let us leave the luggage there. there arent many steps you need to climb to get here and there is a super market right downstairs. ACs keep the place really cold and cosy and the bedroom can get really dark and not noisy at all. there were sockets by the bed. they also provide coffee, water, juices. wifi signal doesnt reach the bedroom. if you want to use wifi you need to sit in the living room. host knocked on the door at 9.50 sharp, so late check out even by a few minutes is probably not permitted. this is not really a bad thing per se, but just something to note as this is not a hotel so there is no lobby/washroom allowed after check out.

You really can’t do better than this extremely comfortable and well appointed apartment. Highly recommend!! Hot water for the shower does not last very long. Difficult to have enough hot water for two people showering consecutively, even if taking very brief showers.

The actual property seems to be owned by Maris who only speaks limited English, but as we arrived in a rental car, he met us at a pay car park and helped carry our luggage to the property and explained everything we needed to know about and more in adequate English. He was very keen that we enjoyed out stay and was very helpful. The property description and photos are accurate. It was clean and all everything was in good working order. A filter/drip coffee machine with filters and ground coffee provided was much appreciated.

Wld have liked a TV in the bedroom

• Keithhockly (9/5): Boutique apartment - This apartment is in a great location just a short 5-minute walk from the Pile Gate. The compact one-bedroom apartment has been renovated to a high standard and comes with a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a rain shower & bidet, washing machine, flat screen TV and good WiFi. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings and fittings – the kitchen has plenty of appliances, crockery, cutlery and good glassware and there are plenty of fluffy linens in the bathroom. If you have a car, it’s problematic. Darko/Serjan arranged parking for us at a guest house next to Bogisicev Park for an extra cost of €30 per day. We later discovered that there was a public car park next door where our car could have been parked undercover for the same price. Serjan met us at the Pile Gate and carried our luggage to the apartment while my husband parked the car and arrived at the apartment on foot. (We ended up booking an Uber to take us and our luggage back to the car from the Pile Gate as it was a steep climb back to the car park from Old Town.) Serjan also helped us take our luggage to the Pile Gate when we checked out!
