Lugter meget af grill mad inde på værelset. Alt vores tøj lugtede da vi forlod værelset to dage senere. Vi betalte ekstra for at få et værelse med en udsigt, men det var intet specielt og ikke det værd.

- nadene (7/5): - It was quiet away from the busy streets so slept well. Staff friendly and willing to help. Prompt with laundry. Pool was clean and had a good view of the city. The bed was hard just not what we were used to. Didn't realise how far from Old Quarter but didn't mind escaping the busy streets at the end of the day.
- Thompson (1/5): Terrible. - This property was NOTHING like the pictures! There were cockroaches in the room, the soap had been unwrapped and used by the previous guest! The room didn’t have toilet paper and when we asked the staff for some they seemed annoyed at us. Only 2 towels despite 3 guests and when we asked for a third it seemed to be an inconvenience. Pool was tiny and not nothing like the photos. This hotel is definitely not 4 stars and shouldn’t be advertised as such.

Małe okienko skierowane na pokój naprzeciwko. Brak klimatyzacji. Brudno. Łazienka nie była sprzątana tylko wymieniane ręczniki. Standard bardzo średni. Kabina prysznicowa w łazience cała zakamieniona , w pokoju dużo kurzu.

- Maria (7/5): Good hotel away from hustle though close with taxi - Clean room, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. They arranged airport pickup which was on time, good driver and vehicle. Best service after long flight to new city and country. Good location if you do not like to be close to noisy main roads. Overall good value. Small window with small distance to opposite room. But this is to be expected in Hanoi when staying at moderate priced accommodation. No handrails on entry steps. If you have mobility issued not a good place to stay.

Thanks to the guy who worked late and early in the morning at the reception, he was very friendly and absolutely helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area. But you can walk to many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The public bus to the old quarter of Hanoi is 5mins walk away.
- Camille (1/5): DONT GO BED BUGS. - Absolutely NOTHING as great. Bed bugs dont go!! HORRIBLE. DON'T GO THERE! They owe us more than 400€. We were supposed to spend 14 nights there but all of this happened: -We arrived the first night and first the corridor and bedroom smelt cigarette (they were cigarettes everywhere in the corridor). The smell was really horrible. - No natural light in the bedroom, no window (not specified on Booking). Worst thing : nobody came to clean the bedroom, we had to go to the reception and ask at 5pm... and they weren't happy about it. - The staff at the reception was supeeeer mean (like not just not smiling or not nice, like actually mean and not helpful at all). - Nobody speaks any English. So the communication was harsh. - The breakfast DOESNT worth a 4stars hotel at all... Very bad quality products, not a lot of choice at all. I had better breakfast in 3stars hotels in Vietnam. My boyfriend and I were super SICK after eating... - We had bed bugs in the bed. We left the hotel after 1 night there and asked for refund but neither the hotel or booking have tried to help us. - Barteldt (5/5): Passable - Staff like all Vetnamese are very friendly and helpful but that is were it stopped. I did almost 20 hotels in Vietnam and everyone was very high quality this was really mandaine. I booked the property because of the pool but its a small rooftop pool beautiful view but the fiberglass delamimated and makes bubbles undernearth your feet, my airconditioner didnt work until i notified them then they send someone to fix it witch was fast and effective. Not a bad hotel just not close to 4star Room was very tiny and breakfast was the worsr o had in vietnam and i only really had geat food in vietnam as this place oa foodie heaven
- Liana (8/5): Great taxi man! - We really enjoyed our time at Hillary hanoi. The AC worked perfectly and the local taxi driver was exceptional. He helped us get around and was always happy to answer any questions we had :)
- Adeleena (8/5): Clean, quiet rooms - Very clean rooms, pool was clean too. Reception Staff said there was no shower gel which is odd because they had shampoo and a tiny hand soap. Breakfast buffet is hit or miss, small selection but good enough if you just want something quick before heading out.

The Manager Anna was also helpful in our needs, she personally fixed our sim/data issues for us to have internet connection. The hotel was very affordable and peaceful tho its not close to the downtown.

- Igor (1/5): Bad - Relatively decent breakfast Description promises sauna, fitness, swimming pool - none of those are present in this hotel. They have a glorified bathtub next to the elevator mechanism on the roof. Our room was filled with cigarette smoke despite "no smoking" signs plastered on every wall. Personnel barely speaks English using translator apps on the phone. We demanded another room - they demanded more money. Finally we got a downgrade room with no windows or balcony. They took our money and that was the end of them acknowledging our existence - no receipts, not enough bathroom amenities. Had to chase cleaning maids to get some water. Also the location is terrible. Get ready to pay for the taxi every time you want to see anything beside waste dumps on the pavement

- Martin (10/5): Everything was perfect - Everything was like on the picture. Clean swimming pool. Good breakfast. Fruit, vegetables, eggs, noodles. Nice receptionist. Speak good English. The receptionist booked a taxi for us to the airport. We are really happy.

- Arunav (6/5): Overall it was a pleasant stay. - Hotel and rooms were very clean and all the amenities were available. Hotel is a bit far away from central Hanoi. Also dinner option in not available in the hotel. Only breakfast is complimentary with limited dishes. And there was no one from the hotel staff to assist us to the room and had to carry all the luggage on our own.
