It has all the necessary equipment, and we really enjoyed our stay there. Contact is only possible through the booking website, with no direct communication with the owner. This may lead to some delays in replies, which can be challenging in more urgent situations.

• Claudia (9/5): Fantastic, highly recommend! - Perfect spacious living. Very comfortable and private. Not a very far from shibuya centre. Very peaceful area and quiet neighbourhood. The owner was amazing very accommodating and very quick to reply. Bedding was ok, pillows were quite thin.
• Tiger (10/5): amazing! - Super awesome location 1 train station stop from Shibuya in very chill and quiet neighborhood. This was a last minute emergency booking, as I booked the morning of. Host responded quickly and graciously and I was easily checked in by the afternoon! This is exceptional for travelers in Japan esp. Westerners lol because the room was very spacious and even had in-unit washer for free! Tokyo hotels are typically very small and cramped so I'd highly recommend!
• Roman (10/5): - Amazing apartment in a quiet area within walking distance to Shibuya. You can be at Shibuya crossing in 25 minutes walking or 10 min by bus / metro. The apartment was exceptionally equipment, and it was a pleasure to use the kitchen as well. Nothing I can think of.

• Alice (8/5): I 100% recommend staying here! It’s very convenient and a lot cheaper than staying right in the city centre! - I liked the easy check in and location. Short walk to the station and to family mart and Lawson! Had vending machines down the road as well! It’s only 1 stop away from central Shibuya! I didn’t like that the property is noisy especially due to loud neighbors which we did for our last couple of days unfortunately.
• Camilia (10/5): Excellent stay! - We stayed for 5 nights in Tokyo. It was a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms. The futons were very comfortable, the mattress was comfortable and thick! We especially appreciated it that the host prepared a child seat for our toddler and a bed. There was also an opportunity to do laundry. The neighbourhood is very central but quiet, so we slept very well! Would definitely book it again! The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the open stairs in the living room, as our toddler does not really understand the danger of that yet. However, he could freely play in the bedrooms that are separate of living room, so overall it was an excellent stay!

• Flaten (9/5): Super cozy place with everything you need and in a prime location. - Super cozy place with really good air conditioning, very comfortable bedding, iron an ironing board, and a kitchen. Hosts were very communicative as well. Place was spotless. Laundry machine for washing clothes was nice, but no dryer, and our clothes never dried properly in the space because of poor air flow which was frustrating. But otherwise great stay.

• Iurii (9/5): An excellent place for tourists. - The best part of this property is the location of it and a price for it. Little house that comfortably fits 4 people. Super friendly stuff. The property is assume. Nothing to hate on. I would just suggest that with Netflix on TV it would be way better.

• Lara (10/5): Comfrtable, felt like home. Made life easy after long sweaty exhausting days! - Stayed in apartment B that can sleep up to 4 people. It was easy to find, 2 minute walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi station which is 1 stop from SHIBUYA. Family Mart is on the way back from the station to apartment so easy to grab snacks and drinks. Yummy restaurants close by. The apartment was clean, it had 3 futon beds set up (2 bedrooms) with an extra futon bed in the wardrobe. The washing machine was our life saver as we were sweating walking around all day. A clothesline, lots of coat hangers and a bar wardrobe on wheels to hang out clothes. A kitchen table to sit at at the end of the day. Fridge& Freezer to store out snacks and meal. Microwave, stove. Nice large windows in the bedroom if you prefer fresh air and sunlight. Aircon in the lounge room and main bedroom. We can’t fault our stay. We will definitely be booking again, I can’t ever imagine starting in a regular hotel room again. Extra pillow cases for the spare pillows

• Amy (10/5): Extremely comfortable stay in a great location! - We loved our stay here in COTO Tokyo Shibuya. It’s so close to the train station and public transport which makes it easy to get around town. The accomodation itself was comfortable, clean and spacious. Can’t fault it! The two heaters also can in very handy for the couple chilly nights we had.

We like the bed, washer and room heating too. Not familiar with the bathroom/dryer setting to dry our laundry. Limited food options around the property.

• Cara (9/5): Better alternative to cramped hotel rooms! We had a comfortable, pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again. - Spacious, very clean and has essential amenities. Instructions to enter/exit and general usage were very clear. Host was kind enough to receive our luggage sent via courier from airport, and deliver to our room! The tatami mats were very comfortable and cozy but this is a personal preference. Host can be reached via booking.com but can only respond during office hours and usually the day after. In case of any emergency or question (thankfully we didn’t have any), I didn’t know how else to contact (contact info is for their office). A few small (maybe insignificant to some) inconveniences- no pajama, toothpaste/toothbrush etc (slippers and shampoo, body wash, detergent, hand soap were provided). No housekeeping but wasn’t a problem for us. Stairs were narrow and steep but not an issue for us either (I dont recommend for elderly).

• Maddisen (8/5): Comfortable for a family of 4 - The location to the train station was great! Good local restaurants very close by, Lawson’s and family mart on the way home from the train station. A local supermarket and discount store a little further up. The futon beds were large and very comfortable - they are firm. We appreciate the washing machine, drying room, microwave and fridge. The pillows were incredibly flat so we popped into Shibuya (1 stop away) and bought some new ones from ikea. There was a moldy smell coming from underneath the kitchen skin. We washed what we needed before use and kept them on the countertop the whole stay. The drying room wasn’t as powerful as the ones we used in Kyoto & Osaka - it took a lot longer and not as hot.
• John (9/5): Superb - Clean and quite spacious by Tokyo standards while being located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a 2 minute walk from the train station. This is my second time staying at this property this year!
• Teresa (9/5): I enjoyed the stay. - The property is located on a quiet street. There are convenient stores on the way from the walk of train station to the property. It's only 1 train stop from Shibuya. The shower in the property is excellent. The bed sheet does not mount to the futon on one end, so it slips off easily. The pillow is sunken in the middle, it's kind of odd. It would be nice if there's better fit bed sheet and better pillow. Response from the host is a little slow, it usually takes a day.
• Derrick (9/5): Excellent value for money for a spacious (by Japan standards) and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood with many eat - Great location. 5 min walk to subway station. Clean and everything worked. Spacious and cost at the same time. Nice amenities like Dove bath foam, Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Bedroom slippers. Steep staircase to our apartment B. Tricky with heavy luggage but we managed.
• Anjul (10/5): Perfectly clean, equipped and relatively spacious! - The cleanliness was perfect, as also the equipment in the home, which was modern, new and clean! The neighborhood is nice and extremely quiet, while being very near Ikejiri station and various stores including a grocery "supermarket". We were on the ground floor, and there was negligible noise from the other apartment. Good communication with the host! The Japanese style futon beds on tatami mat were very soft and comfortable, and a great benefit is that you can fold them and put one or both of them away when you wake up, and have a lot of extra space! It's a little like having an additional room. Very insignificant, but bring or obtain some duct tape or mailing tape to stick a piece of card paper over the green "exit" light which is indeed a little bright at night. In fact, if the host can put a curtain on the bedroom entrance it would nicely partition the space so that someone could use the kitchen table without the light going into the sleeping area.

It was clean and spacious with washing and kitchen amenities would have preferred more clothing hanging space and more pillows. the housekeeper already rang the doorbell 15 mins before the stipulated check out time, which we didn’t appreciate

The building next door was very close, so when we had the windows open we could smell their cigarettes. That was unfortunate, but I understand there’s nothing the owner can do about it. We could just close the windows.

• Rensus (9/5): A great stay ❤ - The location is superb. Our stay were great, aside from many places that we went to. We also enjoyed nearby store, woody bakery provides great breads, Tolo have amazing curry bun too for breakfast. Dinner at 龍の子 was warm, the owners were so friendly with our child. Soul food bangkok for lunch were so delicious. And also it's near convenience store. The property itself we have no problem at all. We had a wonderful time. It's just the elevator of Ikejiri ohashi station that's need some cleansing. It's quite smelly.
• Matthew (10/5): Perfect base for Tokyo adventures! - Lovely comfortable environment in a great neighbourhood. Well kitted out with facilities and amenities - the automated bath was excellent! The location is perfect for travel around Tokyo, and close to everything you might need for a comfy stay. Really enjoyable experience and we'll definitely try to come back! There was very little to dislike at all! The only thing we struggled with was finding an iron and ironing board, but that wasn't too big a problem.

• John (9/5): This was my second visit to COTO 8 and I would stay again - Great location and on a quiet road. Lots of places to eat near by. An Ozeki supermarket is nearby which is superb Only one hob to cook on but with that and the microwave we managed just fine. The TV would be better if it could swivel rather than being fixed flat to the wall. Japanese-only TV channels. I brought a laptop and HDMI cable so that we could watch YouTube and stream to the TV

• Nus (8/5): Very good - good location - only 1 stop from Shibuya station. the apartment was new with modern facilities. many shops and restaurant around. we did not know that the building was made of wood and that noise can be heard easily to the ground floor. which is a shame since the place was big enough for the family but wood not recommend for younger kids. we spent most of the time reminding and watching our kids not to walk loudly or made a noise.
