• Massimo (6/5): Gezellig voor één persoon - De kamer opzich was heel erg cozy, heel gezellig, zeker in de avond als ik met mijn laptop zat te werken op bed met deur naar het balkon open. Het personeel was wel heel vriendelijk. Opzich is het een hostel, waar je weet dat je niet alleen bent. De kamer was nu eenmaal wel echt aan de kleine kant. Ik had een kamer met balkon gekregen. Het balkon kon door iedereen gebruikt worden en de deuren zijn niet goed geisoleerd, dus je hoorde altijd als er mensen op zaten in mijn kamer. Ook was mijn balkon gedeeld met een andere kamer. De spullen van de andere persoon (kleren die aan drogen waren) lagen dan ook net voor mijn raam. Waardoor ik niet echt van mijn balkon kon genieten. Mensen maakten vrij vroeg ook al veel lawaai, soms net aan mijn deur. Je hoorde alles van in de gang. Je moet ook cash betalen, bankkaart is geen optie, dus ik moest eerst door de straten wandelen opzoek naar een bank, dit heeft echt lang geduurd omdat ik de weg daar niet ken en verbinding is niet top daar in Argentinië... Ook vond ik persoonlijk dat voor wat ik kreeg, het niet goedkoop was het verblijf...
• Lucie (6/5): Bon rapport qualité prix tout au plus - -Très bon emplacement dans le joli quartier de San Telmo -Petite terrasse agréable -Logement très bruyant, chambres les unes à côté des autres on entend tout ce qui se passe dans l’hôtel tard le soir ou tôt le matin… -Les chambres sont nettoyées au propre mais mériteraient un bon coup de peinture -C’est très cool de mettre une cuisine à dispo, mais un bon coup de ménage ne ferait pas de mal également… -logement initialement introuvable car pas à l’adresse indiquée sur l’annonce booking (adresse exacte précisée par message booking), aucune indication ou nom d’hôtel à la bonne adresse, et pas de réception avant le début d’après midi donc attention ne pas prévoir d’arriver tôt.

Ik had kamer met raam naar buiten gevraagd, Dat was ook fijn. Het werd heel goed schoongehouden. Vlakbij is een mooi pleintje met live muziek Er was een gaslucht beneden bij het gangetje bij de voordeur. Ik heb het ochtends direct gemeld. Het zou gemaakt worden.

• CHUNG (10/5): - Excellent communication from the hostel via WhatsApp, they were able to organise a later check in for me. Staff very friendly, even the cleaning lady was very nice. Location is excellent - you're literally a few seconds from San Telmo market but away from tourist crowds. Excellent price for San Telmo! Room light is only from a lamp or from the window during the day The lock on the door could be improved.

• GUSTAVO (8/5): - Aplica las 3 "b", bueno, bonito y barato. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno barrio de San Telmo, cercano a lugares turísticos/históricos. Es un hostal sencillo que cumple con creces las expectativas. Recomendable.

• Javier (5/5): - Si queres San Telmo cerca es buena opción. El baño bien aunque estaba afuera del dormitorio y compartido Poca atención. Me dieron una habitación colindante a la calle y el ruido a la madrugada no era de lo más lindo. Nunca me enteré q tenía cocina y unas pocas comodidades nadie me explico. Además subir las escaleras x dos pisos y el ruido Al irme no encontré a nadie para hacer el check out. Tuve que dejar las llaves en un escritorio. El baño al ser compartido no cerraba bien la puerta con llave y debías encontrarle la vuelta p cerrar

Numéro de booking faux : c’est le 556, ... et les numéros de la rue sont désordonnés... Aucune indication extérieure de l'hôtel ! Avons trouvé par chance alors que nous désespérions : une personne de l'hôtel sortait et nous voyait désorientés. Pour info, c’est à peu près en face de la pizzeria, un peu en contrebas à droite quand on est dos à la pizzeria. Porte de métal d’un immeuble commun. Vétuste, chambres sur rues assez agréables mais d’autres n’ont de fenêtres que sur le patio fermé. Douches froides ce qui n'était pas un problème en été. Calme mais l'hôtel était quasi vide.

• Eugene (9/5): Good, value-for-money stay in San Telmo - We had a very comfortable stay here. Regarding the rooms, we appreciated having lots of shelf space to put our belongings. Wifi worked fine from the rooms too. The shared bathrooms were kept clean throughout. There were four shared bathrooms over two floors, so we never really had to wait to use one. There is also a small shared kitchen. The utensils and equipment in the kitchen have definitely seen better days, but we had no issues preparing simple meals here (you will need to get your own cooking oil and condiments). Decent location near the San Telmo market, with lots of shops and restaurants around. It was easy to walk to the nearest Subte station (Independencia), as well as other nearby places of interest such as Plaza de Mayo and Puerto Madero. The reception hours are from 1-6pm, but we had no issues communicating with the staff via WhatsApp outside of that time. They also kindly allowed us to store our backpacks for a small fee when we left Buenos Aires for a short 3-day trip to the Iguazu Falls. The shared kitchen only has space for two to sit.

• Jáchym (9/5): Great place for a short stay in the center of Buenos Aires - Very nice and accommodating owner, she let us check-in late, pay in the morning after exchange offices open, and leave our bags for the check-out day. Great location 100m from San Telmo market. Rooms are simple but clean No sign from the outside, you need to know the address and ring the bell to get in. The building is a bit old which is visible, but the interior decorations are nice. Kitchen and common areas are small and not very useful.

• Calandrella (8/5): Very good - It's in my favorite neighborhood, San Telmo, so lots of nice spots are accessible. The room was fairly affordable for a private one, and it's pretty calm and quiet, which really suits my needs. Kitchen was stocked well enough.

• Leah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely colonial style property with friendly helpful staff. The place is kept so clean at all times. Plenty of bathrooms which are always clean and hot water. Location is fantastic literally across the street from san telmo market. We unfortunately had noisy british neighbours for 2 of our 4 nights who would come in drunk very late having arguments which we could hear every word through the wall.

• Chris (10/5): Basic, economic, clean and central in the San Telmo district. - This is an economic and basic hostel with shared bathrooms, simple but clean and comfortable. The administrator Maria was very friendly. She also guarded our baggage after checkout time. It is perfectly located in the heart of San Telmo only half a block from the market, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, also the Plaza Dorrego. We did not eat breakfast at the hostel because of the many street restaurants nearby.
• Meredith (9/5): Great location. Clean space. Friendly and safe. - We were in the perfect location in San Telmo. Close to breakfast spots and 10 minutes from the metro. Maria the host was super communicative and friendly. There was a basic kitchen and filtered water. Our room had doors to the terrace and the entire place was cleaned daily. As we were on the terrace it was loud during the evenings. Nothing that couldn't be solved with some earplugs. The stay is more dated than the pictures but doesn't take away from all the positives. We would stay again!

Our room was next to the terrace and wasn't very well sound-proofed so we were woken by other guests using it at 3am
• John (8/5): Great location. - The location is excellent, set right near the market which has lots of great restaurants. Safe and quiet street. Bathrooms were kept clean and the water was warm. Just that the reception is open only for a short time during the day. If you can get over that then it's an ideal spot to stay in San Telmo. The hostel could also do with some street signage

• Susanne (6/5): was okay but next time i’d look for another place as i did sleep pretty bad with the nouse and no window. - perfect location in san telmo, walking distance to la boca. next to mercado san telmo, and many supermarkets and restaurants. kitchen equipped, large fridge for things. shared bathrooms are pretty clean. fast and stable wifi. friendly staff. rooms are run down, no tv, most have “windows” towards the aisle (so you either close the curtain or have light but everyone can look inside), very noisy in the rooms, kitchen has no real place to sit down (just for one person). no real common space to sit and relax.
