- Nicole (6/5): - Air conditioner did not work very well so the room was really hot and stuffy. The room was clean enough. If you’re looking for something basic, close to the airport, for a quick nights stay, it will work. Would not recommend for more than a night.

(The room definitely needs more thorough cleaning.) The staff were friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the air conditioner didn’t work well, and the room wasn’t cool even by the time I checked out. It’s a decent place to stay if you only need a few hours of rest before a flight.

The room was fine, quite basic and the walls were a bit dirty and there was a used contact lense on the tap in the bathroom but it was fine for our needs. If you just want a basic place to stay very close to the airport then this hotel will be fine. Didn’t stay overnight so can’t comment on the bed / comfort.

- Mei-Ku (10/5): Great location prior to flight - Had a great stay at Galaxy Hotel for a one night layover in HCMC, conveniently located to the airport and many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Since this area isn't the usual tourist spot-travelers are here to overnight before their flight- not many establishments speak English, however I didn't have any problems ordering coffee and dinner. Room was spacious and very clean. I reserved a room with balcony and city view. Would recommend for a short stay.
