NICHT BUCHEN, WENN EUCH EURE GESUNDHEIT LIEB IST!!! - Die Aussicht Wie wurden zunächst von der stark alkoholisierten Gastgeberin empfangen, die sich vor unseren Augen mit Mitarbeitern einer Baustelle angelegt hatte. In der Wohnung angekommen, stellten wir direkt den beißenden Geruch nach Schimmel und Katzenurin fest. Die Wohnung war insgesamt abgewohnt und heruntergekommen. Auch war es nicht wirklich sauber, sodass wir erstmal alles desinfizierten. Nach einer Nacht haben wir uns aus hygienischen Bedenken entschieden, die Wohnung zu verlassen und in Dubrovnik umzubuchen. Wir haben das Apartment bereits Booking.com gemeldet, werden aber auch nach Rückkehr aus dem Urlaub mit den örtlichen Tourismusverband und den Gesundheitsbehörden in Kontakt treten, um die Unterkunft schließen zu lassen.

• Grant (8/5): - The host was very helpful and kind. The accommodation is near the top of a steep incline, but that's the price you pay for an amazing view. Still only a 6-7min walk from the wall/ gate, and less than 5mins from a local grocery store. The apartment/ kitchen comes fully equipped, so it was nice to cook a meal from the apartment and sit out on the balcony. The hot water was short for use. Manageable for a solo traveller, but might be a stretch for two people having showers one after the other.
• Paula (1/5): 👎 - The view Hygiene - fleas and cockroaches in and around the apartment floor. Unbelievable. Misleading information - the host sleeps in the same apartment. There is no real privacy, as the bedroom is not directly connected to the kitchen and bathroom. Instead, the host uses the hallway and another room within the apartment. Very misleading listing. I could have overlooked this issue if it weren’t for the animals. Very disappointed.

• Zoran (8/5): - Ein Million Blick. Selbst aus dem Bett sieht man Meer Ich hatte keinen direkten Kontakt zu Vermieterin sondern nur zu Agentur die in Auftrag vermietet. E-Mail Kontakt war nicht erfolgreich. Ein Telefonat nachher aber sehr nett und hilfreich. Junge Mann am Telefon sehr freundlich.

• Lauren (8/5): - We stayed in the double room. It had a charming aesthetic and everything we needed, and the view from the little balcony is amazing. The host was also lovely and provided us beers and some snacks on arrival. Access to Dubrovnik old town is easy (downhill) via the Put od Bosanke. There is a small supermarket not far from the property. The stairs and incline getting up to the apartment are a shock to the system but you get used to it! Slow and steady wins the race. You also enter into the property through your private bathroom ... a bit different but just make sure the door is locked when you're using it.

• Carol (9/5): - Dubrovnik ist eine wunderschöne Stadt 😍😍😍 die Aussicht von der Terrasse beim Frühstück auf die Stadt ❤️❤️❤️ unbezahlbar. Dubrovnik ist etwas teurer deshalb empfindet sich eine Wohnung mit Küche zur Selbstversorgung. Die Stadtmauer kosten 40 Euro Eintritt!!!!!! Sollte man aber unbedingt machen. Ich habe ein 3 Tage Dubrovnik Pass genommen mit vielen anderen Attraktionen und Vergünstigungen. Das empfehle ich auch und auch 3 Tage für diese besondere Stadt 😍😍😍
• Joanne mc (10/5): - Amazing one bed apartment, the views amazing , sunsets unreal, so gonna miss this place, whoever stays will be in for a treat,10 mins from old town, and 5 minutes from nearest small supermarket. The host was amazing, greeted us with beer, and stuff to make pasta. 2nd night, she delivered pizza and a treat box (thank you, these was amazing). The turtle in the garden was lovely, and the cats that came by were so cute. Steps and 2 steep hills are a challenge after walking round all day, but the views made up for it.

• Stephen (8/5): Very warm and welcoming from host. - The location for us was fantastic. The host was very accommodating and friendly giving us some home local cooked dishes. This was so welcoming along with some groceries on arrival. When we were leaving the host allowed us to is her bathroom as our flight was late in the evening This was so kind and accommodating too. I thank the host very much. It was a surprise to us not having the whole floor to ourselves as it was shared at the start with an internal stair access across the internal hallway. This was the way to the kitchen and bathroom.

• Marloes (9/5): Amazing location with a wonderful host - Amazing views from the large balcony. Very friendly host. Great location for the old city. Very effective aircon. The hike back up the hill is hard going but the wonderful view more than made up for it. Please be aware the entrance to the apartment is at the top and back of the house. Taxis will drop off at the front so there is still a steep road and driveway to walk after that. Balcony seating was adequate but more comfortable seating would be beneficial.

• Thu Nga (10/5): Beautiful view and friendly host. - Beautiful view of old town and the ocean, can’t get enough of it. Room is nice and clean and air conditioned. Balcony is spacious with good view. Host were very lovely and gave us snacks and drinks. Homestay/airbnb vibe with private bathroom. The stairs are intense but that’s what you have to do for a good view in Dubrovnik. Not wheelchair friendly if that’s an issue for you.

• Laura (7/5): Preciosa terraza - Las vistas y el aacc, además aparcamos en la calle de arriba en un descampado gratis . Los comentarios del olor y el gato nada, entras por la parte de arriba xq es un altillo y eso da privacidad además de que es perfecto para aparcar allí arriba y subir las maletas. Es tipo cabaña pero la decoración en general está bien y es funcional La limpieza brillaba por su ausencia, todos los utensilios los tuvimos que relavar , el polvo exagerado, y la ubicación a pesar de estar a 15 mi es todo subida con escaleras cogimos un taxi un día del centro y un minuto nos cobraron 15€ , es todo Dubrovnik así pero cansa demasiado .

• Serhii (7/5): good value for money, with a breathtaking view - The view is great, both from the windows and from the balcony. You can cook in the kitchen, it’s fully equipped ( microwave, toaster, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery etc). There is a washing machine in the bathroom and it works fine. Please mind that detergent or things for the dishwasher aren’t provided, so take some with you.The towels and bedding were clean ( not new, but definitely washed). The blankets are provided if you are cold at night, air conditioning also works and can be used for cooling or warming the bedroom.There is a little garden where two cute turtles live. The owner is very friendly, gave us some food when we arrived. People who complained about too many stairs to climb are ridiculous- this isn’t the owner’s fault, just a peculiarity of the natural environment. You can use the iron if needed. There are some things that can be improved though. Not clean enough, at least not up to my standards. Too many personal things in the bedroom ( some awards, decorations etc), without them the room would feel more comfortable for a guest to stay. The owner slept in a bedroom on our floor and woke us up when she left it early in the morning. She could also come in/ pass through whenever she wanted/ needed. That felt weird. The cigarette smell is very strong ( not in the bedroom, but as a person who doesn’t smoke I could feel it the hallway on the way to the kitchen and to the bathroom). The kitty named Kristina came mewing on the balcony a few times, demanding to be let in, it would be fine if it didn’t wake us up. I like cats, and that cat is nice, purrs when you pat it etc. I liked the owner as a person, so never complained, but privacy on the 2nd floor ( middle) is definitely not guaranteed. And you may be disturbed/ woken up.

• Marc (7/5): Good - It has a million dollar view; no doubt about it. The terrace is wonderful and the view from the bedroom, out of this world. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Getting to the property is uphill all the way; not for older people. There are no restaurants nearby. And unfortunately, there is this overwhelming stale cigarette smell in the appartment which is quite unpleasant.

• Therese (8/5): Many many stairs but worth the view! - We were at the upper floor. It had stunning views with a large terrace. Lots of boat activity to watch. Spacious rooms, very comfortable. Nice cold beer upon arrival. Nice awning on the terrace. Great AC. Bringing the luggage up another 100+ steps after being dropped off by uber driver. It looked like there would be another option to get luggage dropped off at the top so ask for more details/clarification when arranging check in or luggage drop off. Get the address for above, where you will be entering, rather than the house address below. The place does need some updates and replacement of broken utensils.

• Agata (8/5): We had have a great time! - We had an amazing time during our stay. The host greeted us at the apartment with hot pizza and cold beer, which was a delightful surprise after our journey. She took the time to give us a quick introduction to the area, pointing out some key spots and local attractions. The view from the apartment is just stunning, absolutely breathtaking! We could see the entire landscape stretch out before us, and it was a sight we never got tired of. There’s a convenient supermarket just around the corner, which made picking up groceries a breeze. Additionally, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the old town, where we spent many enjoyable hours exploring historical sites and charming streets. However, the way back to the apartment was quite challenging. There were lots of steep climbs, which made the return trip pretty hard, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to others. The combination of the warm hospitality, incredible views, and convenient location made our trip truly memorable. Nothing

• Troy (9/5): Cosy, clean, local apartment with spectacular views of Dubrovnik - The view from the terrace is amazing, night and day perfect views down into the old city of Dubrovnik. The apartment is a very short walk from the old city and the beach so you don’t need to use a car or taxi. Easy check in and check out. Host was great and very welcoming. . Everything was fine.

The towels smelled bad and some cigarette smell came to our apartment. The bed was okay, but would of preferred seperate blankets. Stairs to the apartment during the night time were dangerous.

• Philip (7/5): Good - The view from the terrace is spectacular. We ate on the terrace each night because of the view. Bed was comfortable. Adequate cooking facilities and utensils. Christmas decorations on show in September were either very early or extremely late. Part used food supplies gave the appearance of someone's home rather than a holiday home. Wouldn't expect this in the post covid world. Dishwasher would be an asset as we had to wash all of the utensils prior to use. Would benefit from new furniture on the terrace. Overall it would benefit from an upgrade when compared with other places we stayed for the price.

• Andra (7/5): Good - The location was good, 10-15 minutes walk from the city walls, and 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is located in a 3 level house and we got to stay at the 2nd level. It had a separate entrance, but it also had an internal staircase that connects everything. The owner lived at the ground floor and at the third level there was another guest (with a separate entrance as well). All the arrangement looked a bit off and we were always concerned we were bothering someone. Also the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom had way too much personal stuff belonging to the owner. The bedroom was so crowded with decorations that we barely found a place to put our own baggage.
• Robert (6/5): - The welcoming was good. The view from the balcony is truly outstanding. Overall it was a good stay. However my big problem there was the smell of cigarettes. It was overwhelming. I think the owner lives below and the cigarette smoke seeps in. It was winter. Couldn't really open the windows.
