Guest Reviews

- Aysenur (9/5): Really nice and clean - There was everything in the house, from the washing machine to the detergent to be used in it. The furniture was very comfortable. The location was very good, 5 minutes walking distance to the metro and 3 minutes walking distance to the tram. The only downside was that there was no kettle, but we were able to get hot water by heating it on the stove.
- Shaikh (9/5): Superb -
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arina (8/5): Good stay with caveats - Very well situated very close to the center. The balcony is very big and it's nice to end the day there. It's on a quiet street, overall we enjoyed our stay The drain in the sink in the bathroom broke the first day we got there. We informed management immediately and despite promising to send someone out, they didn't
- Hosseini (7/5): Good -
- Aleksandr (8/5): Very good - Good looking apartment, everything necessary is available The access to the apartment is a bit over complicated, it wasn't easy to figure out what to do with an electronic lock.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - The apartment was beautiful. Lovely balcony and facilities. Sometimes annoying to get into the building with the app, however not the owners fault. Spacious and great location for trams and metro and food shops.
- Silvia (7/5): Great Location and Amenities, but Cleanliness Needs Attention - The apartment was well-equipped, making it feel like home.
The bed was neatly made with ironed sheets and was adequate for two people; we slept comfortably despite being solidly built. (Also the bed is very comfortable by itself)
Accessing the building and apartment was straightforward with clear instructions and a simple online code system. You need to get the keys from outside first (!!!) which also unlocks the building doors.
The CleanBnB staff were very helpful and responsive when we had trouble or needed the Wi-Fi password.
The apartment is a few tram stations from the Duomo (tram 27, about a 20-minute drive).
We mainly used the route from Viale Corsica to Duomo, which offered more connections.
The area felt safe, even late at night, with many people walking their dogs around 11 PM.
There’s a Penny market nearby.
On Via Lomellina, there's a great restaurant called Romano with reasonable prices and excellent food.
*The pictures were taken 10 minutes after we arrived at the apartment, so my boyfriend had already sat on the bed and used the towels.* The apartment tends to develop an odor if the windows are kept closed for a few hours, so it's best to leave them open when you're out.
While the apartment wasn’t dirty, it wasn't spotless either. The moka was dirty and rusty, the kettle was unclean, and the fridge shelves needed more attention.
The towels and sheets, though stored in zip bags, didn't smell freshly clean.
Overall, the apartment appeared clean but felt somewhat grimy.
It's understandable that every utensil might not be cleaned after each guest, but more care is needed.
The apartment matched the photos with minor differences: the couch looked worn out, there were no orange pillows on the balcony chairs (just the plain wood), there was dirt and leaves on the balcony floor from the rain.
The bedroom was sparsely furnished with just a bed and cupboards, making it feel cold and empty.
While we didn't need extra furniture for specific activities, the lack of it made the room feel a bit depressing.
Additionally, the bedroom walls were dirty and could use some touch-ups.
There was a cupboard door in the kitchen that kept falling off whenever we opened the adjacent ones.
Be aware that trams and buses can be late, so if you have a train to catch, better leave an hour and something before.
There was no close Carrefour for cheaper options.

- Agnieszka (6/5): Pleasant - Location was quite good, tram stops in the vicinity of the apartment. The access to apartment via the online key was problematic, regular keys would be the best. Even though we informed the host we will arrive around 3-4 pm, at 5:30 pm after our arrival the cleaning service was still present in the apartment. The host did not provide the password to open the door to the apartment, even though he/she claimed it was provided while confirming the reservation. It took a lot of time to figure out the password with the cleaning service who also wasn’t sure about it. The password for WiFi provided in the instruction was wrong. In addition, as for the sake of hygiene and sanitation, the sponge used for cleaning the bathroom should not be left to wash the dishes!
- Livesu (8/5): Very good -
- Uladzislau (9/5): These are Great apartments for living in Milan, considering their price, location, our experience - We had a truly wonderful visit in Milan, and experience during our stay in the rented apartment was also lovely.
The location was close to the subway; for us, it was a 10-15 minute walk with a child to one of the two nearest stations on the blue metro line. One transfer, and you're at Milan's Duomo.
Despite not having a lot of living space, they have everything necessary for a comfortable non-touristy routine. We were with a two-year-old child, and it's important to note that there isn't a dedicated children's sleeping area or crib in the apartment. However, it wasn't a problem for us. Heating in October was available through the air conditioning system, and it worked well for us.
I was also pleased with the support team's work. They are proactive and even in slightly scary situations for tourists like us, such as when someone tried to enter our room, they provided explanations via the support chat, informing us that it was a cleaning staff member who had mistaken the rooms.
-Not a Plus or Minus, but to be mentioned
In reviews, they mention difficulties with getting into the room, and indeed, you need to have a card with an active European mobile network or roaming to access the apartment. However, the process is well described in the instructions. The only downside was that in October, the towel drying system in the bathroom was not functioning. The bidet tap and the water flow adjustment in the bathtub need some maintenance. This didn't bother us much. Also, we couldn't figure out how to use the dishwasher, even though there were capsules available (as well as laundry detergent).
- Mohammed (6/5): Pleasant - price
location
cleanliness
facilities instructions were not clear to access apartment
squeaky bed
bidet didnt work
shower was not hot enough
- Khaled (10/5): It was beautiful 🥰😍 - Everything 😍😍 Nothing
- Ricardo (9/5): Superb -
- Iljon (3/5): Poor -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - very good facilities, big terass, in the flat you can find everything you need.... we have a little problem with door looker, it was a litle hard to cach the staff, ,probenly you can leave the key for the next turist
- Eliza (4/5): Scary experience - Lovely apartment with all that was needed. The help number provided responded quickly to our inquiries. Scarily, we had someone try to enter our apartment without our permission. They had the code to the door and tried to forcefully enter. They continued to try the code and push at the door for about 20-30 minutes. It was only because of the extra lock that they could not enter. Very scary for us, horrible experience. Soon after, it was confirmed by the help number for the apartment that it was the laundry service coming without notice at 7pm. After paying the city tax, we were told that we had not paid it. After providing banking receipts, they continued to push that we had not paid it. Later, they found the payment and we did not have to repay.
- Duldulao (3/5): IM UPSET….totally upset…i entered soo late they dont even had a keys -
- Francesco (6/5): Pleasant -
- Duldulao (5/5): Passable -
- Joao (8/5): Very good -
- Petr (6/5): Pleasant - Good communication through WhatsApp. Opening the door a bit complicated, going through few gates and then code was not working. But we solved it in few minutes through online communication. Bed sheets were not prepared and we had to look through all the cabinets to find some. Terrace has a view directly into another building.
- Duldulao (8/5): overall i like the place and im planning to return to milan and wanting to stay at your place - its nice and as well as i can move freely without any doubt some messy stuffs kept inside the cabinet😅
- Ugnė (8/5): Very good - Cute terrace and fully equipted flat with everything you might need. The location is not the best, but you can reach everything by public transport that is nearby.
- Majkusova (10/5): Everything was perfect! - Apartment is located 15 minutes from Duomo by public transport. Apartment was clean, well equipped and huge terrace was amazing.
- Dmitry (7/5): I don't recommend to stay in apartments with such check in system. But how to get to know about it? - The location is convenient, the accommodation is three minutes walk from the stop for bus/tram that brings you to the center in 15 minutes. This property has an electronic check in. The instruction how to get to the apartment was sent to us. It was necessary to open three doors before getting to an elevator in the house. We needed to call to specified numbers to get these doors opened. However, for some reason it did not work for us. I called the owner of the apartment who said that someone will help us with opening the doors. For the next 20 minutes, I had a conversation with someone from Cleanbnb via WhatsApp during which he/she texted questions about reservation numbers that we were not aware of or was giving us nonsense commands like "buzz cleanbnb and confirm" or "call FIORENTINI". Without instructions where, how, when, and who is FIORENTINI. To my attempt to directly call the number of Cleanbnb "helper", he/she responded: "I cannot receive voice calls". Because this a la "lost in translation" conversation was lasting for 30 minutes or so, to our luck there were three different people who live in the house and who opened the doors for us. With the help of them we finally got to the actual apartment door (the fourth one!) which should be opened with a code sent. And the code was also not working!!! The "helper" finally asked to sent a picture of the door we are standing at and opened the door remotely after getting the requested picture. Terrible experience in my life!
Already in the apartment, we found that so called "hot" water in the shower was cold and was not getting warmer with time. We were forced to continue our conversation with Cleanbnb "helper" during which he/she was giving instructions how to regulate the gas burner. It worked out in this case, but the question is why the regulator was not set properly before our arrival? Was it with the intention that some people would not go for resolving the issue and use that water as was given, i.e. cold one?
