Anonymous (3/5): Needs improvement, better cleanliness at a hostel - Good location To begin with, to book the stay you communicate with 2 different agencies, the first of which was extremely rude when it came to arranging check in time, and began messaging me aggressively when I didn’t receive a reply from the agency that actually owns the property. The location on booking is actually a few streets away and we had to ask for clarification to be able to find it. Upon arrival the place looked ok, until you actually looked properly. There was a faint smell coming from somewhere, which turned out to be the dishwasher full of rancid dirty dishes. There was a broken chair in the kitchen, drawers and cupboards were full of random junk and there was obvious water damage and mould in the bathrooms. The worst part- BEDBUGS. We were unsure if they were mosquito bites at first until they started appearing overnight and we had all the windows closed. The bathrooms had a nice toilet (if you overlook the skid marks left by the previous occupant) and a bidet. The shower in the orange bathroom was broken and angled horizontally so it was unusable without holding it. There was mould around both showers and both leaked. There was good bedroom storage and the amenities provided in the kitchen were decent, however given the state of the rest of the apartment we steered clear of using them. The only good thing about this apartment was the location, a 5 minute walk from a metro station which made travel easy.
