No food options for purchase if you didn’t want a full buffet breakfast. A 2.00 charge for coffee in the lobby before 7:05 a.m. was odd and not hospitable. My uber was picking me up at 6:57 a.m. and I couldn’t get a cup of coffee? A 60.00 non refundable Pre-charge is not a normal hotel practice.

The only thing it could be better is that the conjugated room has those double doors, and thru them we could hear the other room a little too much. - tiffany (6/5): - We've stayed at the Arya 8 times now in different units. My daughter goes to UM and we always stay here when moving her in/parent's weekend. The building is a mix of hotel rooms and privately owned condos that are all decorated differently (some with upgraded features. Some with the bare minimum) This unit faced the back and overlooked the hotel's event space and parking garage with a sliver of a water view (Bayside) if you looked hard to the right. It was very comfortable, clean and had a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. My only issue was that the electronic privacy shade was not operable. It would made noise but the shade would not go down. I sent a few messages at check in to the management company but did not receive a response. So I went to the front desk for help. The hotel sent up maintenance who confirmed it was broken. So we had to sleep in the unit with absolutely no privacy and tons of light (nighttime and sunrise). The hotel sent someone to repair it the next day. Should have been operating. Additionally the front door would not lock at all. Almost like the door was warped and would not catch the lock. So I used the security bar and put the bar stools in front of the door each night. The front desk told me to push the button to lock. However, it was a key lock system and not electronic. Location is great. Free parking is great. We did not use any of the amenities (pool, dining, etc) and only made 1 coffee and took 1 shower during our stay.

- Yardena (6/5): - Room was very dated and falling apart, hair in shower and coffee maker that didn’t work. No soap at basin, no shower soap/gel in shower. NO SOAP period. Balcony space barely fitted one chair, cigar smoke from room next door filtered in.

- Claudia (6/5): - The Hotel is very good. The unit itself is outdated and needs serious maintenance repairs. The bathroom sinks got clogged. The sofa bed should not be described as a bed where anyone can sleep. The mattress is inclined upwards which makes it impossible to sleep on it.
- Richard (10/5): - I stayed at the Arya hotel and didn’t realize it was a condo renting from a private residence. Overall the room was very clean and the hotel was good as well. The only issue was getting towels and room service which I didn’t realize would not be done the entire stay. The hotel only provided fresh towels if asked which was annoying. Overall an acceptable experience aside from not cleaning the room during the stay.

- Michael (5/5): Disappointing but not awful - Good location, staff were mostly helpful. Misleading photographs used for advertising, my room was much smaller than shown in the pictures. Also, the stupid system they had, where I couldn't talk to the front desk directly, I had to call a separate number to check in or ask for anything else I needed since I didn't book directly with the hotel, very stupid system.

- Alan (8/5): Good place, would stay again - Good property, comfortable, close to the city center. Parking is good, on floors 2 to 6, it was pretty easy to find parking. Good comfy bed. Host was nice and checked with us a lot to make sure we are ok, that was kind. Old fridge rattles the glasses and makes a bit of noise. Apartment on top has no carpet, can hear people walking above us. Dont remember the cleaning and resort fees being mentioned 140 is more like 200 per night, but that's still fine.

- Lakisha (4/5): Disappointing - Very beautiful Air BnB After two days of being there, we noticed the unit had roaches. I called the owner 4 times and left texts and emails. Was told they would come to spray the unit and they never showed. So for the remainder of the trip we watched for roaches. Nice unit but whoever cleans it should be fired! The hotel Arya has nothing to do this with review, their hotel was beyond amazing 👏🏾 if I had know i booked an air bnb I definitely wouldn't have because the owners don't respond well
