Hôtel récent et bien pensé, dans un quartier animé (à qq pas d'un night market). Petit déjeuner varié et agréable. Chambre un peu étroite, mais cela semble le standard dans ce type d'hôtel en ville.

The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from BTS Nana, which made exploring the city so easy. The room itself is compact but very well-designed, with smart use of space and a unique mural that adds personality without feeling overwhelming. What truly stood out to me was the vibrant communal atmosphere there are plenty of shared spaces like the social kitchen, co-working areas, and even games that make the stay feel more interactive and lively. I also appreciated the rooftop area, which offers a nice spot to relax and enjoy Bangkok’s city view, especially in the evening. Overall, it’s more than just a place to sleepit feels like a modern, social living space that perfectly suits travelers looking for both comfort and connection.

The breakfast was basic but there isn't enough room to sit and enjoy it because of all the digital nomads working at the one table. Also had food poisoning

This review confirms our earlier one about the hotel. All aspects met or exceeded our expectations. Bed design is cool but a little more flexibility is required for inside sleeper, washroom access during the night.

Es wird in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft darauf hingewiesen dass das Zimmer klein ist, es keinen Wasserkocher gibt. Das Hotel is sehr gut für Backpacker geeignet, denn Rucksäcke haben Platz unter der Bettenkonstruktion, nicht aber Koffer.

Pas de bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre. pas de bouilloire. pas de café. un distributeur d'eau sur le palier. Pas pratique quand on a soif la nuit. Pas de télévision. le ménage n'est fait qu'une journée sur deux. Si on veut le le menage tous les jours il faut payer 500 bahts de plus. A 70 euros la nuit j'ai vu nettement mieux a Bangkok. Aussi le coffre fort Est à Ras du sol.

It's essential, clean, there Is all you need, including a common kitchen and laundry facilities. Two minutes walking from Nana BTS, so really fantastic tò travel everywhere in Bangkok avoiding traffico. The Airport train Is also very Easy to catch. The rooms are small bit the best are big and super comfortable. The showers Is big and with lot of pressure. There Is water refill at each floor. You can have a complete breakfast for just 200 bath. The staff Is super friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Jinny❤️ at the reception! I would strongly recommend this hotel

The location of the hotel was ideal for travel within Bangkok due to its proximity to public transit. Dining, shopping and parks were easily accessible by walking. Modular beds made it difficult for one sleeper to reach the washroom during the night.

The hotel blends modern design with comfort. The location is strategic, just a short walk from Nana BTS station, which made getting around Bangkok incredibly convenient. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, compact yet very functional, with comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and smart storage idea. Everything felt clean, new, and well-maintained. The minimalist style gives it a fresh, vibrant atmosphere without sacrificing comfort. There are common areas and sharing Kitchen, perfect for relaxing, working remotely, or meeting other travelers. And they have Game and Laundry machine too. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations or any questions. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, lyf Sukhumvit 8 offers great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

• AlexMysh (10/5): - I’ve been to Bangkok many times, and each time I stay at lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok for several reasons — but the main one is that, in my opinion, it’s the best hotel in central Bangkok in terms of price-to-quality ratio and location. Let’s start with the location: it’s just a one-minute walk to Nana BTS Station, and that alone makes a huge difference. Considering the heavy traffic, as a tourist you’ll almost certainly be using the BTS and the метро, so being able to reach it that quickly is a big advantage. Secondly, the hotel itself. It’s part of the The Ascott Limited group, which is immediately a plus in terms of service standards and internal quality control. The lobby is very spacious, with high ceilings and a great atmosphere. There’s a large coworking area in the lobby with plenty of power outlets, where you can comfortably work all day if needed (which is important for me as a digital nomad). The hotel staff are wonderful — always friendly, smiling, and happy to help. They’re flexible and accommodating with small requests and details. There’s also a paid self-service laundry on-site, similar to what you’d find in good European hostels. Last but not least, there’s a TaoBin vending machine in the lobby where you can always grab an inexpensive hot or cold drink. The rooms are small — smaller than you might expect — and there isn’t much furniture. But for a 3–4 day stay, that’s perfectly fine for me. On the bright side, they’re clean and cozy. You can tell the hotel isn’t as new as it was five years ago, of course, but hopefully they’ll continue updating and maintaining it. So far, any signs of wear are minimal. Overall, I genuinely love this hotel. As of February 2026, it’s still excellent and definitely worth the money.

Sur plusieurs jours, ce n’est pas agréable : peu de rangement, toilettes et douche très confinées, et un lit surélevé peu pratique, surtout la nuit. Le choix esthétique général, qui se voulait audacieux sur le papier, manque de cohérence artistique. Les couleurs et les peintures donnent l’impression d’une visite chez Ikea : une décoration impersonnelle et mal maîtrisée.
• Meander59182777527 (10/5): Fun and convenient hotel - My husband and I have stayed at Lyf multiple times over the past three years and have always enjoyed our time here. The staff is efficient, friendly and works well together. Kate and Fah have been especially helpful at the front desk. And housekeeping does an excellent job cleaning rooms every other day. The location is another reason we keep returning to Lyf. The BTS Nana skytrain stop is very close and the Sukhumvit line is handy for us. And we get a lot of exercise walking to nearby Benchakitti Park and sometimes continue walking to Lumpini Park on a connecting skywalk. Lately we have gotten use to staying in this style of hotel— with smaller rooms and fun public spaces to hang out in—and seem to enjoy them more.
