The location is great - in a small street with hectic traffic right outside the door (but quiet inside...) and "easy" walking to all the old quarter sights. The staff were very chirpy and helpful, breakfast was really good. I'd happily stay here again ! Lots (hundreds !) of food & drink options in the immediate neighbourhood but all pretty average & packed with touts & tarts ! It might be worth taking the time to walk a little further around the block to find somewhere great.

- Reil (10/5): Exceptional - Mina Hotel & Spa is a great place to stay in Hanoi Vietnam. It is exactly in Old Quarter very near to all reastaurants and shops. The hotel is also part of all tour package pick up points. The hotel looks beautiful, has great aesthetic & clean. We had early checkin and upgraded room for free. The staff are so friendly, always smiles and provides great direction in English. Breakfast buffet is delicious. The hotel also has tour service agent which provides information about places to visit. Emily was very helpful. You can ask all the questions about tour packages if needed. Over all great hotel and services. I commend this staffs below: Sarah works with the reception who always greet you with a smile and answers all question you needed. Tony the Manager is very accomodating, he made our stay comfortable. He gave us suggestions in regards to our sapa trip. He is a lovely guy. Easy to talk to, very approacheable. Emily helped us with information about Hanoi tour & services. Find her if you need tour services. Emma works in dining area, she took care of what we need in dining area. - Theingi (10/5): Just Perfect - Everything was perfect! The staff was very nice, and taking time to help with our requests. Literally situated in the middle of the city center, you can do everything by foot. The room was very luxurious and high standard. Appreciate also the rooftop bar! To be noted, we arrived earlier then expected, on the morning, and they were able to give us access to the room, with no extra charge. We forgot a suitcase once we left, and they arrange to send it to an other town where we were after. -

We were woken up by them every morning during the stay.

I had an injury whilst travelling and they were very helpful at getting me to the hospital and bringing things to room as I was immobile for a few days. They always had a smile and were more than happy to go over and beyond. Truly exceptional š made use of the spa as well to help with the injury and the staff in at the spa were also exceptionally friendly and helpful with injury I was not aware hotel was right at the top of beer street, though this was my fault as I did not map location. however the hotel did have ear phones, though personally I didn't not need them.

The location of the hotel is very central, right in the middle of the old quarter, so generally very loud area. The rooms were very quiet though. All the staff were very nice, friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was very simple, the breakfast room was quite small. The were not many shared spaces like a spacious lobby etc.

Was greated with a fresh plate of fruits which was a nice touch. Breakfast had a good selection of traditional Vietnamese food and continental stuff. - Layla (7/5): Don't be pushed into higher reviews on your travels - Hazel and James and especially the guy up at sky bar with the glasses were all lovely as was any other staff member we met, polite and professional. The cocktails were delicious thanks Mr. Sky Bar from Mr. Xaomi's wifeš The decor in lobby is nice. My husband had a massage and he said it was a very. Good massage. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The bathroom was clean although there was a lot of little flies and our superior room translates to a room with no window. But it was fine and air-conditioning is very good. This was our last stop in Vietnam and we must mention that every hotel especially the lower priced ones are very pushy for reviews on the spot for booking. Com or Google. Etc. This can make things difficult for people and I wonder are reviews then a. True reflection of the properties bear this in. Mind when choosing your properties. Had I have completed this review in the lobby as Requested by the manager I would have been smiled and cajoled into leaving a 10 rating when in my opinion the hotel is not a 10. It is good, it is clean and budget friendly but a 10 to me is exceptional and should be given fairly to properties. Location is right at top of beer street so good for party people and the room was quiet considering the location so another plus. There was a slight smell especially around the lift area. Everything else is fine. N

- Suzanne (10/5): Book this hotel for a great location, exceptional staff, yum breakfast and comfy beds. - I love this hotel! I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and it was so great I came back to stay again at the end of my trip! The staff are so nice! The lovely Huyen (Emma) at the breakfast is so caring and happy to give advice about where to go and what to do - she is like a ray of sunshine. And Hazel, oh my goodness, she messaged me on WhatsApp even before I got to Vietnam and helped arrange something for me. She was SO nice! And then there's Huang the bartender who felt like he became a friend with his advice and great conversations. Book this hotel and you will feel like you're home. I am really trying, and I cannot think of a single thing that I didn't like.

- Wendy (8/5): Centrally Located Hotel - Great centrally located hotel within the old quarter-with friendly staff. The Mina was within walking distance to most local attractions, markets, lake and shops selling Northface Jackets etc. Lots of eateries down the lane ways. This hotel is right opposite Beer St. You can also zig zag your way to Train St which is very vibrant, just check the times of the train so you donāt miss out.

- Thinn (9/5): Comfortable stay in central location - Excellent location in the Old Quarter - very easy to access the lake and surrounded by restaurants, bars including Beer St on the weekend. Great breakfast with mainly local food including fruit and some pastries. Nice rooftop bar which we did not have an opportunity to try. We did not experience any outside noise by staying in a room with no window but could clearly hear people coming in and out of rooms in the corridor but not in the hotelās control.

And even though you are next to the busiest and the noisiest street, the hotel is quite and you do not hear anything. The staff is amazing, all the time smiling and very helpful. - Ramona (7/5): Good option for central location - The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on arrival which was a lovely surprise and very kind. However there wasn't really anything Deluxe about the room but I believe it is slightly bigger and has a window which we didn't immediately realise the superior room didn't. The breakfast was typical for what we've had travelling Vietnam. We booked for the location central for night time and it was very central for most things you can walk too easily. We booked the Halong Bay tour via Emily at the Hotel which is highly recommended and was a great day out, there are a lot of trip/boat companies so I can imagine the standard can very significantly - we went with Heritage Cruises. There is a nice Sky Bar which overlooks Beer Street and surrounding areas. Hotel arranged an airport taxi and the rate was equal to Grab so would recommend. Hotel provided steam iron and ironing board on request. Decent shower and bed was firm but comfortable Couple movie channels and discovery. I have no idea why people don't use their common sense on holiday, letting doors bang shut at all hours of day and night instead of just taking care to close them quietly. We were disturbed alot. We paid to have a late check out which worked out quite expensive in the end No mirror in bedroom I am not sure we will ever return to Hanoi it really wasn't for us but in any event this hotel is a good option for people visiting.

But itās still quiet enough in the room. The hotel also has its own roof top bar. The hotel staff is amazing.i would especially like to thank Emily. We have initially only books one night at this hotel, But needed another one. Although the hotel was full and it was not possible to book via booking.com, thanks to her we were able to stay one night longer - and we didnāt event have to change our room.

Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Rooms clean. Staff will pack you a āto goā breakfast if donāt have time to sit and eat. Upon check out, the staff check your room for anything left behind. We had a basic room, but it was small.

The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great. They provided bottled water which was appreciated! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. It was also nice to have a couple of drinks on the rooftop. I donāt have any complaints and I would stay here again!

The service provided by Emma (Huyį»n) in the dining room has to be the best in Hanoi. She is so warm, welcoming and charming. On the reception desk, Emily and Joyce were wonderful with us from start to finish. We would like to thank the manager and all the staff at Mina for a delightful stay.
- Jane (6/5): Get what you pay - Good location. Right in the bustle of the old quarter It is very basic, there is a reason it is cheap. The corridor is tiled with no furnishings so it is very loud if people are talking in there, or if another room has their tv or music on loud. The room has no window, which I didn't realise when I booked. Only one pillow each.

Room in itself is OK in terms of space and quality of the bed For this price you can get much better quality hotels in Hanoi. Some specifics: - pictures of rooms are misleading, standard rooms are very basic - shower gets cold very fast - airconditioning is impossible to properly manage, it always reverts to 20Ā°C, and blows right on the bed. I just turned it off because it was too cold, which was ok in winter, but in summer this must be a real problem. - tours are overpriced compared to agencies in the street - location right in front of beer street, loudest part of the old quarter (though not an issue in the rooms without window)

- Yfunda (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed at Mina Hotel for three nights. One day before our stay, we wanted to leave our suitcases and go on a tour, and they said it was okay. Since the hotel's location was very central, it was great to come back and rest whenever I felt tired. On the third day, when we mentioned that we would be joining a new tour and checking out, the receptionist, Sarah, was very helpful. She arranged a taxi reservation for our early morning departure and prepared a lovely breakfast bag for us. The hotel staff do their jobs excellently. I would like to thank all of them separately."
