• Jenny (9/5): We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and Dubrovnik is a magical place to visit - It was perfectly situated in the Old town of Dubrovnik. Everything was in easy walking distance. The apartment was small but had everything we needed . The only thing which was not so good was the noise in the evenings from the restaurant below .
• Sebastian (6/5): Eigentlich ein nettes Apartment in toller Lage, ABER... - Das Apartment ist sehr gut mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Der Eingang ist etwas versteckt, mit den bebilderten Informationen, die man vorab bekommt, aber gut zu finden. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war gut via WhatsApp. Das Apartment selbst ist recht klein, aber für einen Alleinreisenden oder ein Pärchen für ein paar Tage ausreichend. Das Bett ist bequem, Küche und Bad solide ausgestattet. Eigentlich hätte ich 8 oder sogar 9 Punkte gegeben, das große Aber kommt aber noch. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten vorab: Die Nachbarn in der Wohnung darüber sind recht laut - und das Apartment diesbezüglich recht hellhörig. Das Apartment hat nur ein Fenster in der Küche zu einem Innenhof - Tageslicht ist demnach eher rar. Dass das Booking zunächst über eine Agentur läuft und man dann weitergeleitet wird, ist etwas umständlich. Das große Minus aber: Beide Tage war ab früh morgens (ca. 7:30 Uhr) extremer Baustellenlärm zu hören, der Schlaf unmöglich machte und man eigentlich nicht mal im Apartment verweilen wollte. Nun liegt das natürlich nicht in der Macht der Gastgeberin bzw. der Agentur, wann in der Stadt Bauarbeiten sind, aber ehrlicherweise kann man das Apartment in so einer Zeit eigentlich nicht anbieten. Der Komfort und damit der gesamte Aufenthalt litt deutlich unter diesem Umstand (da ich nur anderthalb Tage vor Ort und ohnehin wenig im Apartment war, habe ich das während des Aufenthalts ertragen, dennoch eine mehr als suboptimale Situation). Schade.

There are 22 steps up to this quiet, very sweet, and well-appointed studio in the heart of magical Old Town. It's been remodeled with great amenities (had to put some appliances aside for counter space, furnishings, and surfaces, and all the colors, lighting, linens, etc. made it so very comfortable to be there. I highly recommend it.
• Bratati (9/5): Enjoyable stay in the heart of Dubrovnik. - Clean, comfortable, well appointed apartment in the heart of the old town close to both ports , restaurants etc. the host met us to hand over the keys and give all the required information. Apartment is on the first floor so little help with luggage would be useful esp for senior citizens/ people with back issues etc. It can be a little noisy but the double glazed windows take care of that.

It was unusual to access the apartment through a restaurant’s courtyard, but it worked well and was quite charming. The bed and pillows weren’t terribly comfortable so we didn’t have great sleeps.

It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located right in the heart of Dubrovnik, just a short walk from all the main sights and restaurants. A real gem for exploring the city on foot. Many thanks to the host for her warm welcome and attention. We highly recommend this place!

• Robert (6/5): It’s a 13c building - Inside the walls and close to the gate. It was within walking distance of all Old Dubrovnik has to offer. Many stone steps; reluctant help with luggage. Three locking doors with keys before we could enter or exit our unit. One thin blanket on the bed. Would stay outside the old town, next time, just for more modern conditions.

It had everything we needed and was even more comfortable than it looked in the pictures. The decoration was charming, and the host was incredibly helpful—showing us places to visit and recommending great restaurants. The checkout experience was a bit disappointing. Checkout was at 10 AM, and just three minutes after, someone knocked on our door asking us to leave. The same thing happened to the guests in the apartment next to us. I believe there should be a bit more flexibility with the checkout time.

• Pamela (9/5): Fantastic location - Great central location to stay, not a lot of stairs to navigate, just one flight. Air conditioning was perfect for the hot summer days! Room was exactly as pictured. We got a few tips from the hosts for restaurants and places to go. It’s above a restaurant but was pretty quiet! We had a hard time finding where to go as the entrance is down the same lane as a restaurant. There was a bit of noise coming from the level above us, sounded like a kid running back and forth pretty much any time we were back at the apartment during the day. It didn’t bother us at all since we were out exploring all day and no noise from above at night, but might not be good for people that will spend more time in the apartment during the day.

• Indu (9/5): Excellent I would do it again - It’s centrally located not too many steps to get to it very close to main street I did not use the kitchen however it’s well stocked with a lot of useful utensils and there is a nice touch of elegance to bathroom and kitchen accessories Walk in thru Marko polo restaurant and food is right ahead to property Host is quite nice , when I came in she helped me with a EU to US plug explained the map and recommended places to eat. She also offered to post a small pocket book I forgot (very kind of her) Close to both Ploce and Pier Gates I suggest carrying your own soap to this property if you are used to high quality bath soaps. If you forget they have alternatives which are regular line soaps nothing special.

Follow the directions they send you regarding meeting them. You have to walk through the Monte Cristo restaurant to find the door to the rooms.

You won’t be disappointed. - Excellent location on the flat part of the Old Town, a few steps from the main street, port, famous churches, GOT steps, and all the main attractions within the old walls. Just a couple of minutes walk from the main gates. Just one stairs to get up to the apartment. Compact space, perfect for one or a couple. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great facilities, had everything you would need to cook, clean etc. Big wardrobe and comfortable bed. Irene was a lovely lady who gave me lots of tips and tricks of what to do, where to go, eat and easy ways to get there. Was able to leave luggage there after check out also as I had a late night flight. Lots of nice bars and restaurants/ fast food on all the little streets nearby. The guys in the restaurant downstairs were all lovely and helpful too. Bring ear plugs if you are not a deep sleeper. I was woken every morning at 5/6am by I think a pigeon making lots of noise and banging outside the window, this was going on all day also if I tried to have a nap and a couple of mornings there was loud construction going on some place outside apartment.

• Edward (9/5): Perfect location and pleasant - We were able to drop off our bags before check in. It was nice to not have to lug them around. Anton was very accommodating. He met us as arranged, showed us the place and gave us a good coffee shop recommendation. One morning we woke up and the WiFi was out. I contacted Anton and Wi Fi was restored in a couple hours but as the cafes have WiFi, there was no inconvenience. No complaints.

• Jacqueline (8/5): - This property was in an excellent position in the old town, having a kitchenette was a bonus and for anyone who wants to self cater this would be a boon. The apartment was clean and big enough for two people. It was very hard to find and had no signage at all, so I would advise getting very detailed directions or as we did phone up when we couldn’t find it. Finally, on ebookers there was the option fir this to be a twin, which is why I booked it, but when we arrived it was a king size bed with no twin option
• Robin (10/5): Exceptional - The location was superb, attractive, very comfortable and clean! Great value overall. Highly recommend. The wine opener is cheap and horrible...please get a new one! A little coffee in the cupboard would have been nice. A little noisy with the windows open but closed it was fine. Nearby music from the bar seems to cease at midnight. I was only there for a short time but did not see the Wi-Fi password until I was leaving. Even with the assistance of the apartment reference book, I could not get the TV to work. All very trivial things :)

• Kris (9/5): Superb - The location was great and the apartment was super clean and comfortable. We had a really hard time finding it by the address alone. To enter the apartment you had to go through a restaurant (Marco Polo) and had we known the name of the restaurant it would have been super easy to find. Also the listing said it was a two bed unit. There was a queen bed that could become two twin beds but there was no bedding to do that. One of us slept in the bed and one on the couch so it worked.
• Hugh (10/5): Location, location, location! - Did we mention the location? While a bit tricky to find (look for the Marco Polo restaurant, it’s in there), it worked perfectly for us. Got up early and walked the walls etc before the crowds of cruise ships and tour buses rolled in. Easy to stop in for a break during the day as it is literally 2 minutes walk from everything.
