• heidi (9/5): calm, welcoming space after full days of sightseeing - excelllent location on a quiet side street. large room with good storage and very good quality linens and mattress. sound proof, with black out blinds and windows that can open. good breakfast with lots of selection the roof top deck is underwhelming - it may have been because we were there in april , but that could be a very nice space for guests to hang out in.

• Anthony (9/5): An amazing hotel in a great location - The bedroom was excellent, spacious, clean and very comfortable with fabulous bathroom. The staff were all fabulous and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing major really. I wanted to take a small bite away from the breakfast room to finish in my bedroom before the day started and got told I could not leave the room with any food. It would have been nice to be allowed to do this. It would also be nice if the TV was online so I could stream films or TV shows to it from my mobile phone.
• noa (9/5): - we came back to this hotel, loved it the first time and loved it the second time. a great location in a quite street a very welcoming people, especially Grace who was warm and very helpful a nice breakfast with small changes every day, which was lovely a comfortable room, with a lot of light and a lot of quite the last person who was in the reception table was not helpful at all and made us walk to find a taxi to the airport, it left a bad taste

• Robert (9/5): - Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um einen relativ neuen Gebäudekomplex in zentraler Lage ca. 70 Meter von der U-Bahn-Station Piazza Barberini entfernt. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind neu gestaltet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück kann sich für italienische Verhältnisse sehen lassen und ist sehr gut und vielfältig. Das Hotel ist ein echter Geheimtipp für Gäste, die Komfort und Sauberkeit schätzen. Alles fein!

Great breakfast available until 12pm! No room service which I thought I would miss but didn't really need it given local options to eat out or take away.
• Elena (10/5): Hidden treasure in the mid of Rome - My stay at the Room Mate Collection Filippo exceeded my expectations. Unbeatable location, in a quiet street next to the Barberini square and in a walkable pleasant distance to villa Borghese and major touristic spots. The Reception staff are so welcoming and helpful! I ve got so many useful advice and recommendations from them, regarding to the choice of restaurants (fantastic!), dance wear shops , tickets to the gallery, etc. Mr.Mauro is an absolute star! His professionalism is very impressive. Rooms are very comfortable, fantastic orthopaedic mattress (you thank it after lots of walking around Rome), coffee-tea-complimentary water, lots of different lamps to make the light up to your comfort, very nice spacious bathroom. Toiletries are on request, ask if you need a tooth brush or anything else. Breakfast buffet was very good. Yes, it looks like the one at the boutique hotel, everything is presented in small quantities, but is replenished constantly, and it offers everything one can think of. Loved the every day new homemade cakes, it was a nice heartwarming touch The hotel looks small, but once you get in, one can see how smart and cosy it is. Big plus is that it is far from the street noise, in central Rome it adds value. The hotel, indeed, is a hidden treasure. Highly recommended. Guests and their comfort are in priority, and it feels so from the first moment upon arrival.

• Alison (9/5): A delightful stay in Rome! - It was a lovely hotel with attractive areas. The room was excellent and very well cleaned and maintained. The breakfast was good but made excellent by Erica who was very friendly and helpful and gave me a lovely selection of gluten free items each morning. Beds were a little firm but had mattress toppers to soften them.

• Siobhan (10/5): Brilliant, great value and fantastic service. - We had a fantastic stay when our wedding and honeymoon trip was cancelled at the last minute. The Room Mate Filippo was brilliant. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and really fresh, plus it was served for an extended period of time. The roof terrace was brilliant and the location was great for seeing Rome. If I could have rated it higher I would. The housekeeping was standout and our room was beautifully made up everyday. The beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. We asked for more hangers in the room and they were delivered really quickly. The one thing that we felt could have been improved was the coffee at breakfast time. I think it was the milk rather than the coffee. There are two machines and a filter option so plenty of choice but perhaps just not to our taste. We still drank it everyday so this is a very minor point to try to provide balanced feedback.

Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel, das Bad geräumig und das Frühstück, für italienische Verhältnisse, üppig. Das Persoal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die gesamte Hoteleinrichtung war sehr stimmig und sauber. Dazu fällt mir nichts ein.

• Juliet (8/5): Very nice hotel in a convenient location - Lovely room and hotel. The main entrance and staff were welcoming. The hotel was really clean everywhere. Room was big and carpeted which gave an added sense of comfort and also made rooms more sound proof. The decor was restful and attractive. Bathroom was a decent size, everything worked well. Nice shower. The ease in which to walk everywhere from the hotel was great, it was close to many attractions. Internal whooshing unpleasant bedroom noise which seemed to come from electrics. The air con was also frustratingly erratic and noisy. Room looked out on an unclean street and was was opposite a pile of rubbish for many days. It was also at times noisy at night due to vehicles and people. I found it difficult to always have enough water to drink in the night as tap water was not potable.

If we have the chance to visit Rome again this year, we will definitely consider staying at this hotel. The hotel could update the kettles and slightly enlarge the rooms, but thanks to such wonderful staff, all these minor issues were quickly forgotten

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillies avec une grande chaleur et un professionnalisme remarquable. Tout au long du séjour, nous avons ressenti une attention sincère et une vraie gentillesse de la part de toute l’équipe. La chambre était spacieuse, élégante et d’une propreté irréprochable. On s’y sent immédiatement bien, dans une atmosphère calme et reposante, idéale après une journée de découverte dans la Ville Éternelle. Le service de restauration est également très appréciable : tout est soigné, agréable et parfaitement organisé. Le petit-déjeuner est bon et le buffet est bien présenté ; toutefois, il pourrait être encore meilleur avec l’ajout de quelques plats chauds et un peu plus de variété. Mais ce qui rend vraiment cet hôtel extraordinaire, c’est la qualité humaine de son personnel. Chaque personne croisée a été souriante, disponible et d’une grande bienveillance. Cela fait toute la différence et transforme un simple séjour en un souvenir précieux. Mention toute particulière à Grace et Umberto à la réception. Leur gentillesse, leur accueil chaleureux et leur attention ont rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de ces moments et de cette belle rencontre. • Em (10/5): Clean, comfy and well-situated - We stayed here for our fourth anniversary. The hotel was clean, modern and well situated. It allowed us to walk the entire holiday, and is only around 10 minutes away from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. We chose not to use public transport (we preferred to walk) but if you did want to use it, it’s also accessible. The hotel was brilliant, but my only word of advice would be that it is up a bit of a steep street.
• Kim (9/5): Great place in a great location with super friendly staff. - Great hotel in a very central location. You can walk to all the attraction in Rome. However, it is on a little side street so there is no noise at night. The rooms were of a decent size, and the bathrooms were also good. Breakfast was good and we liked that it started from 7am so one could get an early start some days. The best thing about the hotel was definitively the staff. They were fantastic, friendly, funny and helpful. The people always make the difference as they say. We had many nice conversation with them and appreciated all their insights. More space in the bathroom to put the vast amount of toiletries, hair and skincare products some teenage daughters bring on vacation would have been helpful. :-)

It is not that I didn't like it, but maybe breakfast could have someone extra to help, so there wasn't so much time waiting to replace empty plates with food at the buffet. But it wasn't that bad either.
