• Sofia (6/5): - Location was amazing There were no locks on the main door or the door to our hostel room!!! meaning anyone could enter in at any time. It felt quite unsafe as a small group of girls and affected our stay

Cumple su función y es una opción económica dentro de la ciudad. Nunca me quedó claro si la persona que me recibió era encargado del alojamiento o un simple alojado más, ya que fue mi compañero de habitación. Quizá un poco más de profesionalidad en la atención a nuevos clientes, haría ganarse su confianza. La bienvenida no fue la mejor, es bastante mejorable ese aspecto.

• Debiprasad (1/5): Pathetic rooms and poor service - Location was good and thats it. Extremely poor facility, better to stay at airport than in this hostel. They have kept 12 beds in a place where max 6-8 can be accommodated. No space to keep evan a handbag, no space to move a little. In toilet, any bulky person cant even enter. Charging points are not working and the staffs are casual as if these are normal. You will find lots of property in same rate with much much better amenities and space. We left this hostel, just after staying one night and shifted to another hostel, which is just 3mins walk and was fantastic

• Enrico (3/5): Good location; everything else wasn’t good. Not recommended. - The hostel's location is excellent as it is inside the wall. A room for 4 or a maximum of 6 people is fitted with 12 beds. There is little space to move inside the room and little space to fit your backpack. There are 2 showers inside the room, but they have zero privacy. The kitchen is okay, but nothing where I would stay and cook for more than a meal. People are allowed to smoke in the kitchen.
• Quinn (10/5): Excellent staff and location. - The staff and owner were very kind and friendly as well as helpful. I took a taxi to the gate and Ana, the owner met me and walked me to the hostel which I would've had finding. Pecky carried my suitcase up the 61 stairs to the top. Pecky, the hostel staff went above and beyond helping me out. My phone alarm clock wasn't working correctly and he would wake me up very early in the morning for my tours and for the taxi back to the airport at 5 am. He's very sociable and made dinner for a group of us one night. The location is excellent. A few steps to the main square. The stairs. There are 61 steps to the top where the kitchen and common area are located.

• Henry (7/5): A pleasant, safe stay. - The check-in process and the stay. The owner was friendly and obliging and let me leave my laptop in his room before check-in time so it would be safe. The central location is also a huge plus! The price is quite high but then Dubrovnik is very expensive anyway. It is a beautiful old town though and I can understand why it's called the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' and attracts tourists in their thousands.
• Henry (6/5): Very pleasant. - I liked the fact the hostel was so central and that the owner let me leave my laptop in his room before checking in. I was then able to put my valuables in a locker once I'd been allocated a bedroom. The price is quite high but then everything in Dubrovnik is very expensive; the old town is very beautiful though and I can see why it's the most popular tourist destination in Croatia.

• Si (7/5): If you only need a place to stay - Location is very good if you wanna take nice pics of the old town in super early morning or just hang out there late at night. Very close to the beach too The beds are so packed. In a small room there are many beds. In terms of the facilities, probably not as good as those hostels that I have even been. But it is in the old town and the whole Dubrovnik is expensive, so understable. And internet is bad sometimes when I got back at night.

• Igrubay (8/5): Nice affordable hostel - The owner was really friendly and made sure that the guests feel welcome in the hostel. The location is also pretty convenient because it is right in the middle of the city. Just be ready to walk through a lot of stairs if your room is on the upper floor but it did not matter to me that much.

The host, Sasha, is very kind and attentive and makes the hostel a very social place. As a solo traveler, it was very easy to meet people from the hostel to go around and see the sights with. Stairs

• Jacques (8/5): Awesome location in Dubrovnik Old Town with fantastic host - Fantastic location! 30m off the Stradum and the most popular square in the Old Town. The host, Saša, is extremely nice and helpful. Good view over the city from the room and kitchen dining area. All the guests were very happy tourists and Saša managed to make all of them feel very at home. Not much.
• Amanda (8/5): Great location and host( Sasha) such a great city - Great location, comfy bed. Being in the old town and near the main street the noise didn't make it up to the hostel floor. Around 40 min walk from bus station and well signed to old town, so easy to find. A couple of nice beaches nearby, 1 around 5 minutes the other 20mins but worth the effort- Bellevue beach, but go past the hotel one and head down the steps, super nice. Walked up to top of mountain, really nice views on the way up and walking through the pine woods. Nothing really

• Mr (10/5): The host with the most - Sasha was an amazing host, if the guests are interested he helps you feel like a local in town. He will invite guests to join him in town during the day or evening. I came during the very beginning of the season, so I imagine this will be difficult to do when the hostel is full. He works very hard, and long hours but the brief moments of rest he dedicates to spending time with the guests, a definite bonus and selling point as far as I'm concerned. It would be nice if he had more time to spend with guests because he is a pleasure to be around, but keeping the whole place running keeps him very busy. I would never stay anywhere else in town, and I will be back. Also close to grocery store and nice little kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. I had to leave to continue my trip, wish I could have stayed a week

Sasha gave me many recommendations, took us for the sunset to the top of the mountain, spent time together with his friends, I felt local vibe, I have really nice memories. Thank you so much, my 3 days there were unforgettable. :)

• Filippo (10/5): Shoutout to the host! - The very central location is the highlight. The hostel is equipped with everything you need, with a very functional kitchen. Another plus point is the relationship that is created with the host. In previous hostel experiences the latter turned out to function almost like a hotel. In this case you create a nice and close relationship with both the host and the other guests. I will definitely come back. Nothing in particular

• Emily (7/5): Review of hostel - The location was in the city walls, so it was very convenient. The atmosphere at the hostel was friendly, and the host was very welcoming. It could have been cleaner in the bathrooms and communal areas, but it was reasonably comfortable.
• Grant (10/5): Sasha went above and beyond as a host. - The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It was my first hostel experience. The other travelers told me it was unusual for a host to be so involved. Sasha did a great job making sure that we all felt comfortable and welcome.
• Eugen (10/5): Super - Best Location! Just near the Main square in old town Dubrovnik. No street stairs (but stairs in the building). Would Like to live there again. Best wishes to Sasha! She has another good Appartments in old City, Just ask If you want stay longer in Dubrovnik. Kitchen, bathroom - all was ok. 4 floor, many stairs.. :)) Bad mobile Connection in the room.

• Meg (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing host, amazing location, amazing vibe!!! I would recommend anyone stay here in Dubrovnik. Sasha is the most incredible host, really makes an effort to get to know each guest and host evening drinks to bring everyone together, he really cares about each and every one of his guests. Location is perfect, right in old town, 2 minutes walk to everything. There are a lot of flights of steep stairs to get up to the property, so is not accessible for people of all abilities, however if you are an able bodied person this hostel is a definite 10/10

• Mike (10/5): The best host, location, and deal possible in Dubrovnik. - Sasha is a traditional hostel host, and he makes the stay incredibly enjoyable. Most hostels today operate as hotels, but Sasha treats guests as visitors to his home... which is true. The location is also perfect. It was the perfect place to be in Dubrovnik. As always, in a hostel, the quality of the stay depends heavily on the other guests. Although Sasha put in much effort to keep the place clean and comfortable, some of the guests made that difficult. If you're thinking of staying here, please consider being respectful.

And the price is amazing for the location (right in the old city. A few steps from the main thoroughfare. This is a personal thing but since this hostel is also their house there’s smoking inside. But again the host is awesome and the location is also amazing. Just so you know what to expect.

• Rachel (10/5): feels like home - I really enjoyed my stay here, first of all the location was great, just right in the old town and not even noise at night. Ana and Sasa are the best, they help you in everything they can and make you feel like at home, it’s a really nice place for a solo traveller and meeting people. I wanted to book for 1 night more but they didn’t have more availability, and they just tried to find a solution for me. Also bathrooms always clean and the bedsheets smelling so nice. Thanks for making me feel like at home! everything good!!

• Jim (4/5): Disappointing - A very central location right in the old town but a bit difficult to find as it's tucked away on a back street The hostal is located up a few flights of steps and difficult to find ,was given a key to a locker that was broken beds not clean and there seemed to be only one small toilet for dozens of people staying there ,I left very early as had a plane to catch ..I guess it's ok if your on a very tight budget as Dubrovnik is very expensive

• Hernan (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best hostels i’ve been to, suitable for young people. The personal treat you get & the ambient among the guests is just great. You really feel like you are home. Bathrooms are clean, bedrooms have ac, location is just exceptional. Just a heads up, theres no elevator (3-4 story-stairs). im ok with that but it might not be suitable for some people!
