- Magdalena (10/5): Super hotel, super service, super location - This was our second stay and I find this hotel impeccable. It’s modern, lovely design but feels warm and very welcoming. The staff is efficient and polite. The breakfast is perfect with friendly, profesional service. The food is delicious. Hotel rooms are on a small side but well organised and very comfortable. It’s a brilliant location, although very touristy. Not the prettiest part of London but super convenient to get anywhere from here. Many attractions/ monuments/ museums at the short walking distance. Only little note that there isn’t a good selection of non alcoholic drinks at the bar downstairs.

Nella stanza tappeto sporco, divano sporco e macchiato, davanzale della finestra sporco!!! Fatto presente lo stato non adeguato della stanza al Reception Manager, Rafael Goncalves ,il quale ha fatto finta di nulla e ha liquidato con un semplice “ha ragione”!!!

- Liudmila (7/5): Underwhelming experience. - Stylish interior, located at the very center, national gallery is just around a corner. Not clean. My first night I had dirty sheets (stain from a boot on one side and weird stain on the other). Since reception wasn’t picking up, I had to go downstairs and ask to change the sheets, which they did quite promptly. However this should not even happen - the thought that sheets that dirty are not disposed of but rather are washed with the others and then are put on beds is disturbing. Room is dusty. Maybe thanks to unflattering light in the sink area, you can clearly see dust everywhere. Bath is half size. It’s not a full bath, so either your legs or your body won’t be covered in water. Pressure in the shower head is poor Concierge is not responsive. I asked for a certain thing to be checked, but received no response later in the stay - nor positive nor negative. I didn’t chase, so maybe that’s on me, but I would expect at least a no if the request wasn’t feasible. Poster “I don’t like poor people”. I hope it was an inside joke, but maybe due to my ignorance I don’t get this humor.

Chambre étroite et trop petite pour le prix, sans rangement pratique et suffisant. Personnel de réception pas assez efficace et à l’écoute (première chambre avec une vue affligeante (mur de l’immeuble en face), seconde proposée très / trop longtemps après notre arrivée et après seulement que nous nous soyons plaints). Manque de tables et attente lors du petit déjeuner (sans grande originalité par ailleurs). Prix globalement excessif en regard de la valeur de la prestation.

- Cathrine (9/5): Will stay again - Location, clean, nice breakfast, great room service, very quiet considering where it is Had to take a point off because the drain in the shower was partially blocked on arrival and face cloths weren't replaced on first day by housekeeping, but issues were rectified once staff were made aware. The only thing is I wish there was a dimmer light in the bedroom, because even the "dim" setting was a little too bright, but I realise this is down to personal preference.

Door keys that needed to be used over and over again in order to get them to simply work to open rooms and operate elevators. Room key would not open the second floor patio doors. Master Room lights in room required me to find my glasses in order to read the control. Not a pleasure in the middle of a dark room at night. No easy to use dimmer switch for the bedroom.

- Tina (10/5): City Chic! - The location was ideal for walking to all the London sites. Rooms were well appointed and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet and al la carte was delicious. Visited the guest lounge for pre dinner drinks and the bar for afternoon tea. Staff helped with transportation at the end of our stay. Wouldn't change a thing!

- shahram (7/5): - Location, the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. There is a noticeable issue with the window soundproofing. Even on the sixth floor, with windows closed, street conversations were clearly audible. Improving this would greatly enhance comfort.

- Getaway651842 (10/5): Great stay - Has a great stay, has a city view room overlooking Leicester Square. All the staff were very helpful, big thank you to Christian who checked us in. We used the pool and the gym. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the residents lounge too. No biscuits in the rooms though 😭, I guess they ran out while we were there. The toiletries were gorgeous.

- umicheric (10/5): Right in the Chaos of Leicester Square, Yet an Escape from It All - After finishing a business trip to London, I decided to treat myself to a stay at The Londoner. Though as I wheeled my luggage into Leicester Square, I felt a twinge of regret for picking this location. Sure, the location is central… close to major London attractions like the theatre district, China Town, Covent Garden… and massive touristy crowds, bland tourist traps, and endless fast food chains at your doorstep. Thankfully, inside The Londoner hotel itself, you discover an oasis that is well shielded from the bustling mess around you. The hotel is artfully designed in all the details, from their efficient, cozy room layouts, to a pleasant guest lounge with limited small bites (don’t depend too much on this) and complementary soft drinks. In your room you’ll find plush robes, a fantastic rain shower shower and bath combo with pushbutton functionality, some of the nicest comfy slippers I’ve seen, and a view of the square below. The rooms are cosy but functional and pleasant. The building may not seem that tall, but it’s also built deep underground where you’ll find floors of amenities including a relaxing indoor pool with steam room, cabanas, and a lukewarm whirlpool, plus a full service spa, hair and nail services, and juice bar. There is also a gym that is very nicely equipped for a hotel. You can find a good selection of dumbbells and benches, a squat rack, assorted strength and cardio equipment, and mat room. The staff at the hotel are easily the highlight, and they provide excellent 5-star service. I booked this hotel through the American Express FHR (fine hotels and resorts) program, which came with a room upgrade, USD 150 in food and beverage credit, and 4pm late checkout. It also came with breakfast included at Whitcomb’s, which is an impressive buffet spread plus hot made-to-order dishes. I also enjoyed dinner in this same restaurant. The only minor quibble that I have, which I did not penalize The Londoner for, is that they’ve adopted the growing practice of adding a 5% discretionary service charge to the hotel room rate. I come from a country known for excessive tip creep, but this London practice needs to be called out, especially when people are accustomed to tipping as they go during the trip. This on its own will not stop me from coming back to what was otherwise an excellent hotel brimming with design, personality, and top notch amenities.
- Keith (10/5): Central location well worth it! - It was a good splurge. Location was great. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff. A bit pricey, but worth it. Not much room to utilize your luggage.
