• Bianca (2/5): Bed Bugs - It was cheap Upon waking up, I had bites all over my body and we found two dead bed bugs amongst our sheets and some blood stains. We informed the owner and instead of apologising and assisting us, he went straight to telling us that they keep everything very clean (but bed bugs are not to do with cleanliness but using very hot water, which they don’t use with their washing system being a bucket). He prioritised the hostel room without providing us a new room, getting bug spray (which doesn’t kill bed bugs) and checking the mattress before helping us. We asked to wash our clothes and to be provided with a new room, but we were left standing outside the room waiting. He had his cleaner start on boiling water and putting our clothes in a bucket to wash them. I ended up helping the cleaner—carrying many litres of boiling water, hand washing and then hanging everything up with very little help from him, just some from the cleaner—whilst the owner ran around caring about the room. He kept stating that they keep the place very clean, insinuating that we brought the bed bugs with us. It took over an hour before I received an apology, and only after telling him to not blame us when he brought up again that it could have been our bags, etc. After I showered I got into bed naked, so there was no way for bed bugs to be brought in. He then moved us to another room. We checked the sheets thoroughly and found a live bug inside the bedsheets. He killed it, said it was not a bed bug, and moved us to another room that he and the cleaner inspected before letting us in. We don’t know if there were more live bugs in there that they got rid of before letting us enter or not. The situation was not helped by this owner’s ego to care more about what he thought than listening, a gross lack of emotional intelligence and understanding. He was kind the next day, letting us wait for our things to dry, feeling as if he had actually thought about the fact that we are paying customers. But it was too late.
• Meriiiiiiiii (6/5): Mejorable - El dueño agradable, habitación grande, cocina equipada. El baño se inunda cada vez que te duchas y huele mal (no de sucio sino como de cañerías). Hacía bastante frío en las zonas comunes. El desayuno era un pan malísimo con mermelada.

It’s a good pick if you are just searching for an affordable accommodation and prefer to spend your money on activities in the area. Honestly there are some important points for improvement for basic comfort: The shower was inconvenient, floating the bathroom instantly. Takes a while to clean it up again. The beds were fully worn out and the sheets synthetic, which is uncomfortable without airco. The breakfast was very basic but to the standard you can expect for the price.

Está un poco retirado del centro y, aunque las distancias en Tilcara no son grandes, llegar hasta el alojamiento se hace algo pesado.

Hermoso ! Sin lugar a dudas volvería todo ok

• Barbara (8/5): Muy bueno - Su dueño muy amable y súper consejero, el personal siempre disponible y todo limpio, el desayuno de pan casero con un infusión que elijas, abundante, sin escatimar. Nosotros estuvimos en una habitación con baño privado, sin lujos pero confortable, ideal para ir a dormir y poder recorrer Tilcara. Un poco de olor a humedad
