- andrewrs2026 (10/5): Afforable... Great Location... Clean and Quiet... - This is my current "goto" hotel in Bangkok. The location is grt as it's just off Sukhumvit 24 (4mins to BTS Phrom Phong), which is also the EMQuartier cluster, restaurants, some shopping and Gourmet Supermarket. From BKK, drivers will take the other end of Soi24 to avoid being stuck on the main road. For abt USD 130 per studio apt (500 sqft) is very reasonable, for longer stays, you can always buy groceries, they have a small kitchenette.
- ShaunScotland (10/5): Large Clean Modern Well Maintained Apartment - Very nice, large accommodation, soo much storage in property. AC quiet and nice and powerful. Very clean and very well maintained. Had a lovely view of park. Washing machine and dryer combination in apartment which is great. Only issue was the TV has very limited English channels and the sofa seat in living room was soo close to floor, had to sit on cushions to raise it. People in Oakwood were helpful, also just a wee walk to MRT and couple of 7/11 close by for supplies. In reality you do not need to move from soi 24 as it has everything. Great stay and Thanks

Walkable distance from most restaurants and BTS. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. It is a little expensive in comparison to Hilton and hyatt or skyview but once you stay there, you understand why. The rooms are super clean. The housekeeping staff is very helpful..the swimming pool and GYM? Top notch.

- apple_lee (8/5): Oakwood Suites vs Ascott Thonglor - Stayed at Oakwood for four nights in early April on the 19th floor. This was a return visit, having previously stayed at Ascott Thonglor. Oakwood was selected on this occasion due to its closer proximity to the BTS and the inclusion of an in-room washing machine. Overall, the stay was comfortable, though there were a few areas that did not meet expectations. The room was smaller than during the previous visit. Upon enquiry, it was explained that the earlier stay had included an upgrade, and that due to high occupancy, an upgrade was not available this time. While this is understandable, there is no recollection of being advised of an upgrade previously. That said, the room remained a good, functional size. There was also a minor maintenance issue, as the wash basin did not fully drain, suggesting it may not have been properly installed or maintained. In comparison, Ascott Thonglor presents a more premium feel in terms of its exterior, lifts, and lobby areas. As an Ascott Silver member, the experience there feels slightly more personalised, with thoughtful touches such as a welcome note. It also offers additional touches such as a complimentary coconut drink in the room and a welcome drink on arrival. These were less evident during this stay at Oakwood, though the overall experience remained comfortable. In terms of location, Ascott Thonglor is approximately a five to six minute walk to BTS Thonglor. Oakwood has a clear advantage here, being around a two minute walk to Phrom Phong BTS via air con walkway - The Emporium shopping mall. In summary, Oakwood offers a convenient location and a comfortable stay, with opportunities to further enhance the guest experience, particularly in terms of service touches and room maintenance.

Around here has lot of traditional Thai food and TukTuk experience 😁 The room here is very clean and facilities are really perfect . It is apartment service hotel so they have washing machine, kitchen and refrigerator which is really suit for family trip . They have good gym and nice view swimming pool and souna! . The staff here is so nice and very good services. All is best here for my staying !!!

- Maggie (10/5): Go for this hotel - The hotel had all the facilities that one needs - gym, swimming pool, well equipped apartment, restaurant. The room was spacious as was its bathroom. It had good natural light throughout the day and the view outside was beautiful. To add to this, the best part is its location. 5 mins walk from Phrom Phong BTS made our daily trips so so convenient. Soi 24 has some very good restaurants and we enjoyed walking up and down that street. Proximity to Benjasiri Park and the malls is also a big advantage of its location. The hotel met my expectations and there's nothing for me to call out that I didn't like. Infact I never thought its location would be so convenient for its proximity to many places.

- Daydream30342545058 (10/5): Warm hospitality from staff and a very clean serviced apartment - We had a wonderful stay at Oakwood Suites Bangkok from 24–27 Feb 2026. Special thanks to Ake, who was always cheerful, helpful, and patient with our baggage and transport arrangements. Travelling with young kids and elderly parents was much easier because of his warm hospitality and proactive service. The rest of the team was also very kind and professional. - Bree (8/5): Great modern hotel. - Great location and great value for money. Nice pool! The bed was a little too firm. The sauna in the woman’s change room was never on. It’s non smoking Evan on the balconies! The hotel lock the balcony and you have to request for it to be unlocked.

- James (9/5): - buffet was good. Staff was excellent, especially Sue, Nannie, Song, and the egg chef. All were friendly and went out of way to serve. English language skills was good, especially Nannie and Sue. Both took time to talk as well as serve. Were well educated and interesting. Buffet was almost same every day. Would have liked more variation. I stayed almost a month so that would have been nice, or maybe be able to customize order some. Prepaid.

- MDabien (10/5): Clean and service top notched. - Absolutely loved how clean it was. Staff is so gracious and welcoming. Having a mini laundry machine inside the room is the best amenity. Pool was very clean with great views. Cleanliness is number 1 for me and it is excellent.

- ralphmJ7766FD (10/5): Felt like coming home. - This was my third stay Oakwood Suites Bangkok and as always, the experience was excellent. The location, facilities, and overall service was second to none within my budget. The hotel is a short walk from Emporium Shopping Mall and BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit as well as a vast array of restaurants.

- meeganh2015 (10/5): Fantastic! - What a wonderful hotel. Not just a hotel room, but completely set up like a little house. I stayed for almost one month and loved having a kitchen, a washer/dryer and a balcony. The staff were wonderful, and brought me more kitchen items such as a cooktop and pan. The bed was so comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing! The location is perfect, just a minutes walk to BTS station, EmQuatier and there are many convenience stores, spas and pharmacies in the same road. Great room service - very fast and a good selection. I will definitely stay again.
- Daisy (10/5): Great comfortable stay at a great location - The 2-Bedroom suite is spacious, clean & comfortable. Everything works: Fast lifts, good water pressure, great lighting, big fridge. We enjoyed preparing stuff in the kitchen & hanging out at the dining table. Lots of storage areas, desks & counter tops to spread out our stuff. Love the washing machine & separate dryer. Staff at the lobby & reception & especially the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job. Thank you for refreshing our room so meticulously every day.

As a solo traveller in a new place they really helped me feel welcomed and the facilities were likewise amazing. It's in a great location and special thanks to the cafe staff who were truly brilliant. As a short term stay, not having access to the skybar I suppose.
