• ILKHOMJON (9/5): Incredible hospitality, perfect location, and a wonderful place where we felt right at home! - We had an absolutely wonderful 8-night stay! The staff here are incredible, special thanks to Melek, Guli, Umer and Yusuf. They treat you like family and were so amazing with our kids, even taking them out to entertain them so we could enjoy our meals in peace. We truly became friends during our stay. They even gave us great insider advice on how to visit the authentic local bazars rather than just the usual tourist spots. On top of the unmatched hospitality, the included breakfast was delicious. Plus, whenever we came by the restaurant throughout the day, they generously provided free bottled water and tea. They also offered us delicious, fresh-squeezed juice at a discounted price, which was incredibly refreshing. The location is also perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the train stop and 4 minutes to the beautiful seaside. None
• Agnes (9/5): Szuper elhelyezkedésű szállás, rendkívül kedves személyzettel. - Rendkívül kedves és segítőkész személyzet. Korábban értünk oda 1 órával a szállásra, de azonnal elfoglalhattuk a szobát, a hazaindulás napján pedig éjfélkor indult a gépünk, mi még napközben sétálni mentünk, a szállásadó őrizte a csomagunkat az indulásig, sőt még egy kávéra és egy üdítőre is meghívtak a kijelentkezés után. A szállás pár lépésre van a metró állomástól, amivel a központ könnyen elérhető, gyalog sincs messze semmitől pl a Nagy Bazár kb. 10 perc séta, azonban ezt csak hazafelé ajánlom, ugyanis a szállás egy elég meredek domboldal alján helyezkedik el. 🙂 A tengerparti sétány kb. 4 perc sétára van. Az elhelyezkedése kiemelkedő. Az ételek finomak voltak, talán kicsit egyhangú volt az étkezés, de ettől függetlenül bőséges és jóízű. Az ételek kissé lehetnénk változatosabbak.

• CHAOUI (1/5): Attention c'est vraiment hors notation, lisez mon commentaire - Rien L’emplacement est loin d’être idéal : l’endroit est très bruyant avec de la musique jusqu’à minuit. Des cafés de style bar se trouvent juste à côté et derrière l’hôtel, avec des bouteilles d’alcool partout et une odeur de cigarette très forte qui devient vite insupportable. Les chambres sont très étroites, mal aérées et peu confortables. Concernant le personnel, à part M. Youssef qui assure le service de nuit et qui était respectueux et professionnel, le personnel de jour est malheureusement désagréable et donne l’impression de ne s’intéresser qu’à l’argent des clients. Le petit-déjeuner est très décevant : pratiquement uniquement des œufs tous les matins. La cuisinière prépare presque exclusivement des omelettes, sans aucune variété. Il n’y a pas de fruits, et même le jus est en supplément. Franchement, pour les personnes qui envisagent de réserver en se basant sur les avis positifs, cela ne reflète absolument pas la réalité selon mon expérience. Méfiez-vous avant de réserver. Il existe beaucoup d’hôtels bien plus respectables et confortables dans la même gamme de prix. En bref, après avoir passé quatre nuits dans un autre hôtel que j’ai beaucoup apprécié, celui-ci a été la pire réservation de ma vie

Біля готелю багато ресторанів, завжди людно і весело. Нам сподобалось перебування в цьому місці. Не часто прибирали, було б добре якщо б забирали сміття з номера кожен день.

• Lucie (10/5): - Útulný menší hotýlek v docházkové vzdálenosti od hlavních památek s rodinnou atmosférou a srdečným personálem, zejména Youssef a Bugra nám byli ve všem velmi nápomocní. Vždy milí a ochotní. Velmi chutné servírované snídaně i večeře. Součástí snídaně i úžasný čerstvý fresh, vaječné omelety, káva, čaj, sýry, šunka, džem, zelenina,... K večeři i ryby a špízy. Vše vynikající. V pokoji minibar, rychlovarná konvice, fén, sprchový gel a šampon. Přes hotel jsme si nakonec objednali i celodenní výlet s průvodkyní po památkách i s lodním výletem po Bosporu a obědem (za 90 EUR na osobu) a také taxi na letiště (za 50 EUR). Děkujeme za úžasný pobyt u vás. Tešekir Ederim :-) Vše bylo perfektní.

• Gabriele (9/5): La scelta giusta ad Istanbul - Da dove partire , un enorme grazie alla meravigliosa famiglia che gestisce la struttura e che ha soddisfatto ogni esigenza da parte nostra. Abbiamo prenotato 2 stanze triple al primo piano (non c’è ascensore) . Colazione turca (salata) abbondante e ben preparata ogni mattina , succhi di melograno appena spremuti eccezionali ! Abbiamo deciso di usufruire del servizio di mezza pensione ed abbiamo fatto bene visti gli oltre 20000 passi giornalieri ! Per cena si ha la possibilità di scegliere tra diversi piatti , buonissimi i kebap ed i pesci presenti in menu, l’acqua è’ compresa nel prezzo. Attenti anche per chi come noi ha una persona celiaca in famiglia e sempre disponibili a soddisfare ogni tipo di richiesta, anche per i bimbi! L’hotel e’ in una posizione ottima , 20 minuti a pieni dalle principali attrazioni della stupenda Istanbul oppure a 5 minuti di camminata in salita , c’è la linea del tram T1 che ti porta ovunque. Il Grand Bazaar dista 10 minuti a piedi invece. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . Come conclusione vi posso dire : sé cercate il mega hotel di lusso andate altrove , se cercate invece autenticità, gentilezza, posizione perfetta, colazioni e cene veramente buone in un ambiente familiare il GOLDEN SAIL HOTEL OLD CITY ha tutto questo! Bravi Ricordatevi di chiedere di rifare le camere. Ma per noi non è una cosa negativa .

It was not possible to close the window , so there was noise from the street in the evening and smoke coming to room. LED lights has some fault so it randomly blinked during the night even it was switched off.

• Taslâca (8/5): Asezat extraordinar, plecarea si sosirea la hotel, era una de exceptie. - Pozitionarea acestuia, este EXTRAORDINARA. Terase si restaurenate foarte multe. O strada foarte animata si spectaculoasa. Curatenia camerei putin de dorit, insa, ospitalitatea gazdelor a fost una minunata. Micul dejun neschimbat, oarecum dificultatea de exprimare in limba engleza (nu numai al celor de la hotel, in general cu totii au dificultati in comunicare in lb Engleza). Camera foarte mica cu un singur geam mic, deaspura unui dulap, fara perdea sau jaluzea. Ca sa putem dormi mai mult dimineata, am pus un geamantan pe dulap, sa acoperim micuta fereastra.
• Elena (7/5): - Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, nice staff. The room in general is good, with a little fridge and a kettle. The hotel is located next to the square with restaurants and there were groups of musicians playing and singing all the evenings until midnight, so it was not quiet. We chose the option "Breakfast and dinner included". The dinner was ok, but looking at the prices in the menu I realised that it would have been much cheaper to pay it apart, so I felt a bit ripped off.

• maria giulia (8/5): Piccolo albergo a gestione familiare in zona piena di vita e di locali - Ottima posizione, centrale e circondato da tantissimi locali dove cenare. Il taxi non può arrivare fino all'ingresso perché ci sono dei limiti stradali. comunque si ferma a pochi passi. Il posto è accogliente, la gestione familiare, la colazione deliziosa e in parte cucinata al momento (ottime uova, burro, marmellata), dolce e salata. Il personale gentile e disponibile. La nostra stanza era al terzo piano, senza ascensore. Mobilio molto nuovo, pulita, bel bagno grande. Le dimensioni un po' piccole, visto che c'era anche un letto singolo in più e io sinceramente non lo avrei messo, rendeva i movimenti complicati; noi lo abbiamo usato per poggiarci sopra i vestiti, poiché l'armadio era minuscolo. Comunque, nonostante ciò, consiglierei di alloggiare al Golden Sail.

• Lara (10/5): meraviglioso - Il Golden Sail Hotel Old City è una struttura accogliente situata nel cuore storico di Istanbul, ideale per chi desidera esplorare la città senza spendere cifre elevate. L’hotel si trova nel quartiere di Fatih, una zona strategica che permette di raggiungere a piedi alcune delle principali attrazioni turistiche, come la Moschea Blu, la Santa Sofia e il Grand Bazaar. Questa posizione rappresenta uno dei maggiori punti di forza della struttura, rendendola particolarmente adatta a chi visita Istanbul per la prima volta. Le camere dell’hotel sono pulite e ben curate, dotate dei comfort essenziali come aria condizionata e connessione Wi-Fi. Il personale si distingue per la sua gentilezza, disponibilità e attenzione alle esigenze dei clienti, contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera familiare e piacevole. La cordialità dello staff è sicuramente uno dei motivi principali che ci porterà a tornare nuovamente in questa struttura. Noi abbiamo scelto il trattamento con colazione e cena e devo dire che l’offerta è stata molto soddisfacente: propone una buona varietà di prodotti tipici della tradizione turca, ben preparati e gustosi. nulla tutto bello

We didn't turn on the TV or the AC because we didn't need to, so I can't write feedback for those. The restaurant looks clean and offers big and very tasty foods and drinks. Breakfast was included in our reservations and it was definitely enough for 3 grown men to not feel hungry until dinner. The staff spoke english and was very kind and helpful. The room was cheap to book for 3 nights, so overall very good value for money. n/a

• Lieke (7/5): Hele lieve mensen die je graag willen helpen! - Het waren super lieve vriendelijke mensen. Die je met alles wilde helpen. Ze hebben ons ook heel goed geholpen met de transfer van en naar het vliegveld. Daarnaast kregen we elke ochtend lekker ontbijt en hadden we ook elke avond diner. В отеле чисто, номера со свежим ремонтом. Отопление хорошо работает. Отдельное спасибо Гуле и ее коллеге, такие добрые и душевные сотрудницы! Всегда помогут и вкусно накормят! Все хорошо, разве что добавьте, пожалуйста, тройник/удлинитель в номер, чтоб удобней было сразу и телефоны зарядить и чайник вскипятить.

Servizio taxi che sebravano delle limousine. A 10 minuti a piedi prendevi il treno, a 20 minuti a piedi potevi prendere il tram.

• Aurélie (10/5): Généreuse - Le petit déjeuner était typiquement turc, bien pourvu et délicieux. Le plus appréciable a été de manger du fait maison à partir de produits frais. De plus, les tenanciers s’appliquaient à préparer des plats différents chaque matin. On a pu découvrir chaque plat de la cuisine turc pour le petit déjeuner. L’ambiance au sein de l’hôtel est familiale. L’équipe est bienveillante, patiente et attentionnée. Le jeune homme qui nous a reçu le soir de notre arrivée s’exprimait très bien anglais et nous a très bien reçu. Il s’est montré serviable au-delà même de nos attentes. L’hôtel est très bien situé; à 2min à pied du métro, à une rue de commerces et de restaurants. Le seul point noir au tableau est la mince isolation pour le bruit entre les pièces.

Está ubicado en un punto con muchos restaurantes alrededor aunque el del hotel está bastante bien el precio/calidad. El personal fue muy amable con nosotros en todo momento dándonos consejos y siempre con una gran actitud.

Struttura pulita e ordinata, personale cortese Dall'esterno la struttura sembra vecchia ma le camere sono ristrutturare in stile moderno. La prima notte per un problema idraulico ci hanno collocato in una struttura vicina ma il disagio è stato minimo poiché viaggiavamo leggeri e l'altro hotel era vicino

Around it they are paid private parkings. I want to be a little bit more clear. They have to remove the "parking" benefit from the description, because is not part of the hotel and also you have to pay about that.

• Domenico (10/5): - Ho soggiornato dal 30/12 al 03/01 e devo dire la sincera verità tutto assolutamente perfetto é stato il primo viaggio per me e la mia famiglia in Turchia.. lo staff super accogliente e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità personale ci hanno trattato come se fossimo un'unica famiglia. La struttura è a conduzione familiare ed ognuno di loro si è sempre mostrato accogliente e disponibile per qualsiasi dubbio e necessità con la loro dolcezza e premura hanno trattato da regina anche mia figlia di due anni dove in questo breve soggiorno si è affezionata tantissimo a ognuno di loro. Quindi davvero senza parole bravissime persone super accoglienti cucina ottima e molto varia nel menù davvero nulla da recriminare. Un grazie ancora a tutti loro per il fantastico soggiorno. Spero io e la mia famiglia di poterci tornare presto la Turchia ha molto da offrire e da vedere ed al giorno d'oggi trovare persone come loro è molto difficile per ciò che mi riguarda. Un grazie a Bugra e tutta la sua splendida famiglia che gestisce la struttura STRACONSIGLIATO.
• Szopa (8/5): Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni, polecamy i pozdrawiamy gospodarzy! - Bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna obsługa! Bardzo dobre śniadania i super lokalizacja! Pyszne soki wyciskane w hotelu oraz mega organizacja przy transferze! Pokój jak i łazienka nadają się już do małego remontu. Było czysto i wygodnie ale są takie detale które można byłoby już odświeżyć. Troszkę głośno w pokoju.

• Kreestee (5/5): - Location is exceptional, just by foot going to the famous destinations, 100 meters to the tramway station that makes it easier to travel going to the airport, our hotel is near the food places, restaurants are everywhere. Staff are very accommodating with maybe all of our requests if we did. They can go extra mile. Our breakfast was wonderful. Turkish meal and other options if you want to request. They have different meal as per our 4 day stay. Our room was clean and bathroom is good enough. Rooms are not soun bb creamdproof. You can hear EVERYTHING. From the other room, and especially from outside. I could not sleep well and our baby as well. No elevator. It's like a bed and breakfast type accommodation.

La camera era pulita, con pulizia e cambio degli asciugamani oggi 2 giorni. La colazione, tipica, veniva servita al tavolo ed era dolce e salata.

• Francesco Cecchet (8/5): Confortevole, semplice, nel centro storico - E' stato un bel soggiorno. Il personale era molto disponibile e gentile, specialmente i due ragazzi, Joseph e l'altro di cui non so il nome. La colazione, per lo più salata, con anche omelette cucinate al momento, abbastanza ricca e servita. La camera non enorme, ma confortevole. Il set degli asciugamani era un po' limitato e il secondo giorno mi han pure tolto il tappetino fuori della doccia, senza però sostituirlo. Inoltre il primo giorno avevo segnalato che non funzionavano gli interruttori della luce ai comodini del letto: mi risposero premurosamente che avrebbero sistemato, ma in realtà quando tornai la sera non avevano sistemato nulla, né mi proposero di cambiare la camera, e così prima di poter dormire dovevo alzarmi per spegnere la luce dall'interruttore alla porta di ingresso. Manca infine l'ascensore, ma questo già lo sapevo, e le scale nei punti di svolta delle rampe sono forse un po' strette, specialmente per chi magari è un po' corpulento che potrebbe sentirsi un po' a disagio specie nello scendere le scale

• Calgaro (7/5): - Posizione ottima, si raggiungono le principali attrazioni anche a piedi. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti da un ragazzo molto gentile. Abbiamo scelto questo hotel proprio in base alle recensioni positive sulla colazione, ma la realtà è stata deludente. In tre giorni non è stato servito nemmeno un alimento dolce e, quando è stato richiesto un succo di melograno, ci è stato semplicemente detto che era un extra. Il terzo giorno abbiamo chiesto di anticipare la colazione di soli 10 minuti per poter prendere l’aereo, ma la risposta è stata un netto rifiuto, nonostante gran parte dei piatti fosse già pronta sul bancone (eccetto l’omelette). La camera viene pulita ogni due giorni come pure il cambio degli asciugamani.

La grande amplitude horaire pour la prise du petit déjeuner. Le sourire des 2 dames et du maître d'hôtel. La chambre sans véritable fenêtre. La couleur de l'eau au robinet et dans la douche.

• Drugea (9/5): A fost un serjur reușit. - In centru, aproape de bazar, intr-o zona plina cu restaurante. Afacere de familie unde oamenii sunt foarte prietenoși. Micul dejun a fost ok, iar terasa hotelului este deschisa pana mai tarziu in caz ca vreti sa mai stati la o vorba si o bere. Putin cam galagioasa zona, dar daca mergi in Istanbul nu mergi pentru odihna.

• Radu D (9/5): - Personal foarte amabil, mic dejun nu foarte variat dar foarte consistent si bun, gatit proaspăt! Camere mici dar curate, prosoape schimbate la 2 zile. Zona frumoasa cu multe restaurante si magazine mici si mari, obiective turistice foarte aproape de mers pe jos, aproape de faleza, aproape de gara, chiar si parcuri pentru copii se alfa in apropiere. Per total a fost o experiență frumoasa. La inceput e o placere sa auzi si sa vezi pescărușii pe geam dar daca stai mai multe zile nu mai sunt asa drăguți in dimineața! Zona e foarte frecventata si e posibil sa fii deranjat de aglomeratie si de galagie, dar asta depinde de sensibilitatea fiecăreia.

Posizione ottima. - La struttura è a conduzione familiare, molto accogliente e pulita, lo staff di una gentilezza unica, soprattutto il ragazzo più giovane, molto attento a tutto. Ha organizzato il viaggio dall’aeroporto e verso l’aeroporto a prezzo conveniente. La colazione è tipica turca, molto abbondante e varia. La struttura si trova nella parte vecchia di Istanbul, molto vicino a tutti i luoghi d’interesse, a 10 min a piedi da Grand bazar, a 15 min di cammino si arriva alla moschea Blu, Aya Sofia e Basilica cisterna, a 20 min il palazzo Topkapi, Ponte di Galata. Insomma, veramente comodo. Torneremo sicuramente nella stessa struttura perché ci siamo trovati veramente bene. La consiglio vivamente anche la qualità/prezzo. Nulla
• Anett13 (9/5): Isztambuli hosszú hétvége - A személyzet kedves és segítőkész volt! Az érkezéskor derült ki, hogy a hotel épületében nincs szabad szoba, így a tulajdonos átirányított minket a kb. 1 perc sétára található másik, liftes szállodájukba, ahol a szoba nagyon kényelmes és tiszta volt. Reggelizni a Golden Sailbe jártunk át. A vasútállomás 2 perc sétára található.
